Fox News is off here too. Other news channels are on. Fox News seems to be only channel off for me.

I saw him as well. I found myself applauding after he spoke, then remembered that I am alone and no one could hear me....

I was also impressed that FoxNews let him speak without interruption for several minutes.

I have been watching Pres. Elect Obama’s website, it “changes” every day if not more often. Under the “Agenda” tab there used to be 15 or 20 links for each category of their planned “change.” Some of those links included: social security, education, economy, war in Iraq, and more. Firearms may have been a link too, but I don’t remember seeing it.

As mentioned here on Free Republic in other threads, the “America Serves” page has changed nearly every day.

This morning, all of those links are gone from the Agenda tab. Now there are 2 paragraphs on that page.

I am curious why all the plans that were so clearly stated and on the website hours/days ago are gone now, including their goals for firearms.

I just called the Marion County Republican Headquarters. Tickets can be picked up after 3pm today (Tuesday).

Hamilton County Headquarters will have tickets available for pick-up tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9am.

I have to be in Indy tomorrow afternoon, so I hope some tickets are still available, and yet, I sort-of hope they have all been snatched up, meaning more people want to see our Sarah.

My ob-gyn is the mother of 3 young boys and wife to a surgeon husband. Her surgeon husband told her after they had their first son, that giving birth without pain control would be like him telling one of his patients to "focus" while he did a hernia repair.

Still makes me laugh when I think about how she said that.

I had an epidural - don't know how I would have made it through a long labor without it. I didn't have any expectations of doing it with or without pain control, if I needed it, I could get it.

I have friends who had their babies after a very short labor - no drugs. That is cool too, but I couldn't have done it.

We were in the Detroit airport last Sunday. My 22 year old son came straight to me to tell me he had just seen Michael Moore in the restoom. We walked past the restroom on our way to our gate. MM was standing outside the restroom talking with someone who appeared to be traveling with him.

My son said MM went "#2" and did NOT wash his hands before leaving the restroom. (I'll let you figure out how DS knew what MM had done while squeezed into a stall.)

Just wanted to let you all know, that if you are introduced to Michael Moore, you should not shake his hand. (Not that you would anyway!)

I watched this movie with my 22 year old son a couple of nights ago. It was the second time he saw it, and he thought I would enjoy it. We both laughed out loud, over and over. I liked the ending too. As others have posted, it has no profanity, no sexual stuff, just dialogue between characters. I seldom watch a movie from beginning to end, but I watched this one & listened carefully. I would recommend this one for a great break from reality.
