I don't think 24,000 is enough seats. Yesterday in Richmond Va, they were expecting 25,000 and 50,000 showed up. Photobucket Photobucket

It was forwarded to me...unknown author. But the data checks on the links and it is about as concise as I have seen.

Jeff,
I was reading over your comparison chart, before sending it to my list, sheepish look, when I noticed something I was having trouble wrapping my brain around : \

“Voted against making English the official language

No - McCain

Yes - Obama

Might there be a clearer way of stating that, that would still be accurate? Maybe, “Voted for making English the official language - McCain Yes Obama No”. Or would that change the language of the original bill?

Good old Washington, working to confusticate us all ; p

This is disappointing. I hate going to Deer Creek (Verizon). And I don’t think 24K seats is enough. I was hoping they’d have it downtown. Easier to draw people from around the city. I hear the New Lucas Oil Stadium (Colts) is nice and could accommodate 50K no problem.

I just called the Marion County Republican Headquarters. Tickets can be picked up after 3pm today (Tuesday).

Hamilton County Headquarters will have tickets available for pick-up tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9am.

I have to be in Indy tomorrow afternoon, so I hope some tickets are still available, and yet, I sort-of hope they have all been snatched up, meaning more people want to see our Sarah.

Is it really true that Obama is now consistently drawing crowds of under 5,000?

I know that he was drawing huge crowds during the primaries when he was still new to the political scene. You could make the argument that the people who attended those huge Obama rallies six to eight months ago have already made up their mind to vote for him, while Palin is new to the political scene and conservatives want to see her in person.

Still, as we get so close to the election, you’d expect Obama supporters to be showing up in droves, even if they’ve already seen him before, especially if they’re convinced he’s going to win. Wouldn’t his supporters want to drive home the message that an Obama win is inevitable by bringing in even bigger crowds than he had before?

If what I asked in my first sentence is true, then something’s not right here. Does anyone have any solid data about the turnout at Obama rallies over the past month?

Stood in line for two hours at the Hamilton County Headquarters today. They had to limit everyone to two tickets because of the response. Better get there as soon as possible. Maybe call in advance.
