American beer giant is latest firm to scale back DEI amid pressure campaign from conservative activist
Molson Coors is rolling back its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, becoming the latest in a string of iconic American companies to step away from so-called "woke" policies in recent months.
Conservative activist and filmmaker Robby Starbuck, who has been leading a campaign exposing major corporations' woke policies, said Tuesday on X that Coors sent him a letter its leadership team had circulated to employees that day to explain the changes after he threatened company executives last week.
In the letter, provided to FOX Business from Coors, the company's executives said its human resources team began making plans in March to broaden the view of its DEI polices to ensure all "employees know they are welcome." The company did not comment beyond the contents of the letter.

Firing the DEI department is a great way to cut costs, lower prices, and increase profits.
They need to do something with the Ridiculous mixed couple TV ads
If only we could get the US government on board!
I can hear the white bearded father of the Boondock Saints sons:
“ ‘Ta, they can do their foolin’ with lots o’ things, boys, but ‘na try to fool with a good brew.”🍺
Sons: “ ‘Ta, father, give us a good Harp or a Guiness.”🍻
I bet internally the policies are still there. Just not on full display with a DEI department.
Lots of options in the bev market, and as the saying goes...
"once burned, twice shy".
Probably when the Democrats took over after the election they were demanding these companies to become DEI and was slipping them extra money under the table or giving them tax breaks under the table. My gut feeling is the government is no longer giving them any sweet deals and/or even with the sweet deals they would go bankrupt with what the Democrat and WOKE want them to do. Common sense if coming back to the CEO’s.
*APPLAUSE*
“I bet internally the policies are still there. Just not on full display with a DEI department.”
That is the way I figure it.
CEO’s who could be forced to adopt DEI in the first place can be told to change the name and double down.
There is nothing easier to push around than a scared CEO.
+1. The Left never quits, they just re-brand.
Molson Coors at Denver Pride
“For more than two decades, Coors Light has been a proud sponsor of the Center on Colfax and the Pride Parade and Denver PrideFest,” said Molson Coors spokesperson Michael Nordman. “Our Pride runs mile high so we are excited to support the Center’s vital programs and services that positively impact the LGBTQ+ community.”
Thanks to support from companies such as Molson Coors, Denver PrideFest has become the largest celebration of LGBTQ pride in the Rocky Mountain region. With more than 250 contingents, the 2022 Coors Light Denver Pride Parade is the largest in its history.

Once I started drinking microbrewery beers, I never went back to corporate beers. When I was poor and in school I had to drink them, but never again.
Close.
It was cheap capital provided by Blackrock and Vanguard. Large corporations live on loans. These companies gave discounted rates, almost down to zero, if the company implemented certain practices. The board had to be diverse. Your employees had to be diverse. You could earn points by sponsoring certain groups or events. They were told this would help them succeed.
Well, after almost a decade of this nonsense the corporations began to see a negative effect on profits. Plus, with the rise of interest rates, knocking a point or two off a loan didn’t have quite the same impact.
These companies, for the most part, didn’t believe the crap they were endorsing. They were just greedy.
no dei for public consumption, ie advertising
dei in-house for hiring and promotions
It’s another war on white men to marginalize them
My thoughts too. The DEI commissars will simply implement their BS minus an official department and/or titles.
Leftists do not give up, ever.
Press Conferences and policy statements mean nothing.
Actions after the talkers leave their stage are all that matters.
