  • What do you think the supreme court will do with the Alabama abortion law?

    05/26/2019 1:36:08 PM PDT · by Cubs Fan · 27 replies
It seems to me the SCOTUS could take the case--then decide whether they will keep or overturn Roe V Wade OR The option I think they will choose-- They could refuse the case --Which will allow Alabama and other the states to determine their own abortion laws -- Effectively the same result as overturning Roe. What do you think?
  • Political correctness propaganda on TV (Totalitarian modern left politicizes everything)

I was watching netflix last night I saw there was a new season of slasher. The first two seasons weren't too bad so decided to give number three a shot. The show starts rolling along and there's a hijab wearing Muslim female high school student. Shes as sweet as can be. She helps a man in need. We soon find out the man she helped is a "gasp" white supremacist who secretly hates Muslims. Soon after that the slasher strikes, beheading a victim. At that point the slutty daughter of the "gasp" white supremacist attacks the poor wonderful Muslim girl,...
  • Federal judge sides with House Democrats over subpoena for Trump’s financial records

A Washington, D.C.-based federal judge has sided with House Oversight Committee Democrats seeking to enforce their subpoena of Trump accounting firm Mazars USA, in a major ruling that breathes new life into Democrats' ongoing efforts to probe the president's financial dealings. The subpoena seeks access to a slew of Trump financial documents dating back to 2011, including personal records and records of various affiliated business and entities. Democrats pursued the subpoena after former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen testified to Congress in February that the president's accountants routinely and improperly altered his financial statements -- including some signed by Mazars --...
  • Kim Foxx fighting push to appoint special prosecutor to her handling of Smollett case

    05/01/2019 9:35:45 AM PDT · by Cubs Fan · 6 replies
Foxx filed a motion Tuesday opposing the demand for a special prosecutor made by retired appellate Judge Sheila O'Brien, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Foxx's office filed two other motions on Tuesday. One seeks to quash subpoenas for Foxx and her top assistant Joseph Magats and prevent O'Brien from requesting additional subpoenas. The other seeks the court's permission to allow Foxx's office and the county inspector general access to records that were sealed at the same hearing where prosecutors dropped all charges against Smollett.
  • There are a lot of good reasons to vote democrat in 2020

    04/17/2019 8:28:55 AM PDT · by Cubs Fan · 22 replies
You know there really are a lot of good reasons to vote democrat in 2020-- If you believe the US doesn't have enough illegals and you believe that sanctuary cities should protect criminals illegals so they can end up killing Americans, vote democrat. If you believe that people of today should be blamed for something that happened over 150 years ago (slavery) and you think that Al Sharpton is a great guy, vote democrat. If you believe that abortion is fine right up to giving birth and babies that can survive outside the womb should be able to be killed,...
  • AOC: NY Post Calling Out Ilhan Omar ‘An Incitement of Violence Against Progressive Women of Color’

The New York Post ran a cover story Thursday morning that depicted the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, saying, “Here’s your something” in response to Omar’s statement. AOC on NY Post/Ilhan Omar front page: “We are getting to the level where this is an incitement of violence against progressive women of color and if they can’t figure out how to get it back to policy, we need to call it out for what it is because this is not normal.”
  • Why Kyle Korver’s words on white privilege and racism matter (basketball barf)

    04/09/2019 10:25:40 AM PDT · by Cubs Fan · 23 replies
LeBron James, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony are among the NBA stars who have been outspoken about racism and social injustice in recent years. Never forgotten will be their speech before the 2016 ESPYS telling the worldwide audience, “Enough is enough.” The common denominator among those four men, of course, is they are African American. And currently more than 75 percent of the NBA’s players are black. Korver speaking out about white privilege while playing in front of largely white audiences, however, speaks louder than James, Paul, Wade and Anthony combined. It resonates because it’s rare to hear...
  • Sen. Ted Cruz Says Closing US-Mexico Border ‘Would Be Devastating To Texas’ (doesn't have to be)

    04/07/2019 12:13:59 PM PDT · by Cubs Fan · 100 replies
WASHINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – While he has expressed support for President Donald Trump’s plans for a border wall, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said in a statement he is against closing the border to slow the flow of South American migrants and asylum seekers. “Closing the border to legal commerce would be devastating to Texas. Millions of jobs, in Texas and across the country, depend upon trade with Mexico, and the federal government shouldn’t do anything to jeopardize those jobs,” Sen. Cruz said.
  • We can keep the ports open to commerce, secure our borders, and eat our avocados too

    Conservative Review ^ | April 3, 2019 | Daniel Horowitz
The media is missing the point about the president’s inherent and delegated authority to deny entry at the border and the most prudent way to use it. Through statute and case law, the president’s 212(f) authority overrides all other immigration processes, including asylum requests, but it’s important to remember that it’s not an all-or-nothing proposition. It’s not an on-or-off circuit breaker on the operation of our border. There are modules on that switch that the president can engage to strategically address the current situation. Let’s again review the language of the relevant statute, 8 U.S.C. §1182(f): Whenever the President finds...
  • Trump Pivots From Closing Southern Border to Threatening Mexican Auto Tariffs in 1 Year

On Thursday, Trump also threatened tariffs if Mexico doesn't halt the flow of illegal drugs across the border, saying he'd give the country "a one year warning" to comply. "But if in a year from now drugs continue to pour in we're going to put tariffs on," he said, adding: "I don't play games."
  • Rep. Ilhan Omar says living in Trump’s America ‘is an everyday assault' (boo hoo barf)

Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Somali-refugee-turned-Democratic congresswoman from Minnesota, said in a published interview Friday that living in the U.S. under President Trump's administration is "an everyday assault." Omar, 37, is best-known for the enmity she's stirred up over allegations American lawmakers supportive of Israel have been bought off. In a Vogue Arabia interview, Omar lamented her difficulties with living in America during the Trump era. “It’s an everyday assault. Every day, a part of your identity is threatened, demonized, and vilified. Trump is tapping into an ugly part of our society and freeing its ugliness. It’s been a challenge to...
  • Smollett Nominated for NAACP Award — Seriously, Not Satire

    03/29/2019 11:57:39 AM PDT · by Cubs Fan · 54 replies
From the “life imitates art imitates life imitates art” ad nauseam file, I thought this headline was satire, but noooo: “Jussie Smollett is nominated for an NAACP Award.” Of course, Smollett just walked free on 16 felony counts after his hoax hate crime in January. If you ever needed evidence that the NAACP is a race-bait organization run by hoax and scam hustlers, this would be it. Six-time host of Saturday’s festivities, “Black-ish” star Anthony Anderson, said, “I hope he wins. I’m happy for him that the system worked in his favor because the system isn’t always fair, especially for...
  • Ben Shapiro says on his radio show-- Trump is at fault not George Conway (Kelly Ann's Husband)

His question was--what kind of boss says bad things about an employees husband? That is utterly bass ackwards What kind of crappy husband says bad things about their wife's boss? No boss in the real world would put up with someone's spouse publicly saying they are mentally ill. Kelly Anns husband is a fat ugly libtard who doesn't even have enough respect for his wife's jobs to shut his fat mouth. She can do better.
  • Massive Hypocrisy By the dems--Compare the resolution against Steve King vs Ilhan Omar

    03/07/2019 3:51:29 PM PST · by Cubs Fan · 23 replies
Hypocrisy check--compare and contrast this-- The republicans created a resolution condemning republican Steve King in January-- 1. The resolution specifically singled out King. 2. The resolution only mentioned white supremacy and white nationalism no other forms of bigotry. 3. Republicans voted to exclude King from all committees. Contrast that to the dems house resolution issued today- 1. Omar not mentioned, 2. Several forms of bigotry mentioned, and 3. Omar will keep her foreign affairs committee seat.

  • 50 Cent says he turned down $500K to attend Trump inauguration (Is this true or fake news?)

50 Cent was on The Late Late Show Tuesday and while sitting next to Massachusetts Senator and Democratic presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren, he revealed how he could have made more money thanks to President Donald Trump. The rapper, actor, executive producer and all-around media mogul told host James Corden that Trump offered him “half a million dollars” just to attend his inauguration in January 2017. “I didn’t do it because I didn’t know if I could fix the damage,” 50 Cent said. 50 Cent told a similar story to Hot 97 back in 2017, only then the $500,000 offer was...

CHICAGO -- Chicago police confirmed Thursday that detectives are talking to two persons of interest in connection with the alleged attack on "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett. Multiple sources have told ABC7 Eyewitness News that police are investigating whether Smollett and the two men staged the attack allegedly because Smollett was being written off of "Empire." A source familiar with the investigation told the ABC7 I-Team that Smollett failed to appear for an interview with detectives earlier Thursday. • Trump Stands By His SOTU Demand For 'Largest Numbers Ever' Of Legal Immigration: 'We Need People'

(NOTE- Make sure to read the bolded and underlined portion) President Trump is reversing his campaign commitment to reduce overall legal immigration levels to the United States in order to raise the wages of America’s working and middle class, as he is now demanding more immigration. During his State of the Union (SOTU) address this week, Trump went off-script while discussing national immigration policy, saying he wanted to admit “the largest numbers ever” of legal immigrants to the country. ---- The U.S. is on track to import about 15 million new foreign-born voters in the next two decades should current...
  • Liam Neeson insists he’s not racist after saying he once wanted to kill a (random) black man

Neeson explained that he made the initial comments to The Independent after the journalist asked how he tapped into vengeful feelings for his new movie, Cold Pursuit. “The topic of our film is revenge, it’s a dark comedy too, but its base is revenge. The lady journalist was asking me, how do you tap into that? “I remembered an incident nearly 40 years ago when a very dear friend of mine was brutally raped and I was out of the country and when I came back she told me about this. “I had never felt this feeling before, which was...
