I saw Twisters last night. What fun! I’ve always been fascinated by tornadoes, so I was going to be a sucker for this sequel, but it’s genuinely great. The blockbuster special effects are compelling, the characters are enjoyable, and the plot is clichéd, but okay enough for this kind of fare (there’s nothing woke, although there is an evil capitalist).
