Woman charged with threatening to hijack plane CHARLESTON (AP) — A woman has been charged with threatening to hijack a plane that had to make an emergency landing here Saturday. Maria Marta Dizon, 45, threatened to shoot flight attendants on the Spirit Airlines flight from Orlando, Fla., to New York, according to a sworn statement by FBI agent Michael Bowers. The South Carolina Chapter met with Secretary of State Jim Miles (2004 gubernatorial candidate) August 18, 2001.
