LOS ANGELES, CA — A reboot of the popular Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise will feature an all-female cast backing into rocks for two hours, says Disney. "Women walk the plank together," a tagline for the film reads, referencing how women should stand together in life — and how they always go to the bathroom together for some reason. The movie is expected to come in under budget thanks to the strategic use of Hollywood's gender pay gap combined with the fact the film only needs one set as the entire film takes place on a ship that has...

Is anyone watching this show? If so, is anyone else noticing all the singers are lip syncing the songs tonight. I haven't watched AGT in yrs and I happened to see it. I swear they are not really singing live, I'm a semi-trained lip reader as I've had impairment a child. None of the singers matched their songs good enough to hide the lip syncing... I've never noticed this before on any of the current talent shows. Does anyone else notice it?

This posted tonight on X (formerly twitter) by Charlie Johnston @JohnstonPilgram It sums alot of my feelings about all this. ************************************************* Public Service Message for my leftist sparring partners here on X. You folks really do not understand what you have done and why you can't fast-talk your way past it. I am 67 years old. Spent my life mainly in politics, from the local to state levels and offering counsel at the national level. The other part of my life was in media, a managing editor of a group of suburban newspapers and political columnist and then a radio...

There was a time when comedy was free to do or say just about anything as long as it made the audience laugh. Not anymore. The late-night comedy shows are no longer “set-up – the punchline,” they are “complain about the other side – applause line.” They are nightly mini-political conventions so afraid of straying from anything their audience finds agreeable that they’re boring. Same thing with movies and stand-up comedy; they’re all wildly predictable because participants aren’t free, either by fear or choice, to take the ballsy risks that made those professions worthy of admiration. It’s pathetic. But there...

Former Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is warning her supporters that those who oppose her politically are angling to take legal action against her. In a short fundraising note, Lake claimed that “The establishment wants to ARREST ME for” exposing what she has claimed is election fraud in her state. She made the same claim last month in a tweet that contained headlines from online news sources indicating she could be indicted. Advertisement “They want to ARREST me for exposing fraud in the 2022 Election. Now, the AZ Supreme Court has ruled that the very fraud I highlighted has...

With a 10-1 win Friday night, the Dodgers notched their 109th victory of the season. If that sounds like a lot, that’s because it is. The Dodgers’ 109-win season is just the ninth instance overall of a team winning that many games, and the first time a National League team has reached such heights since 1909, when the Pirates won 110 games.Postseason success is the ultimate barometer of how a team will be remembered, but regular-season prowess – especially at this level – deserves attention, too. Here are seven facts and stats about the Dodgers reaching a level of winning not...
