Yahweh is embedded in the DNA of every creation. DNA Christian author Steve Russell is sharing an interesting fact about our DNA of every creation. Did you know that the name of God is embedded in our every cell? There’s a code in our DNA that literally means Yahweh. “You know how an artist will sign their work so that in the future, it’s easy to see what the source of the work was,” Steve said. “So, in the human cells, in every human cell, there’s DNA. It’s a code that’s written in acid. ATCG is the name of the...

I love to engage in serious debate and dialogue. It helps to put real issues on the table, it exposes weak positions and faulty reasoning, and it enables onlookers to hear both sides of the topic under discussion. It’s biblical, too, as referenced several times in Acts (see 9:22; 17:1-3, 16-17; 18:4, 27-28). And these debates often bear real fruit. A few days ago, I spotted this comment on our YouTube channel: “Hello, Dr Brown. I just wanted to say, "I recently left Islam after watching some of your debates with Muslims about Muhammad being in the Bible or not.”...

A dog and her puppies are being credited with helping to save a newborn who was abandoned in a field in India, possibly because she was a girl. The Epoch Times reports local residents in Chattisgarh, India reported finding the infant while going out into the field to work in late December. According to Chattisgarh Police, the newborn girl was naked and her umbilical cord was still attached. Local residents said the baby was surrounded by a dog and her litter of puppies, and they believe the animals kept the baby warm by snuggling up against her through the night,...

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 1 Peter 4:7 G. Campbell Morgan, that great expositor of Bible prophecy and the Word of God, wrote, “I never lay my head on the pillow without thinking that perhaps before I awake, the final morning may have dawned. I never begin my work without thinking that He may interrupt it to begin His own. And every night before we go to sleep, we ought to say, ‘He may come tonight.’ Every day when we get out our tools and go to work,...

In those days Israel had no king; all the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes. Judges 21:25This is a fascinating verse in the book of Judges. It parallels our own social realities and dysfunctions in the modern age. In this blog post, I want to take a deeper look at this idea of “everyone doing what is right in their own eyes” to examine how this piece of scripture explains many of our current troubling issues and also how they can be resolved. A Social ConditionTo begin, we should recognize this is not simply a spare verse...

Bob is going in for his right shoulder replacement surgery this Friday, 2/26. He did so well with the left one back in December his doctor calls him his "poster child". It went so smoothly and Bob said he had a wonderful sense of peace throughout the whole thing. Thank you to everyone who prayed for him and to the Lord for His hand in it all. Bob's doing so well recovering from the last surgery that he feels more than ready to take care of the other side now. He's been suffering serious pain and limited movement for years...

If My People Who Are Called By My Name... - - America's Last Hope - - Introduction It is clear; It is concise... 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." But as clear and concise as it is, we commonly hear this verse misquoted and misapplied. So first, we must avoid the mistake of misquoting the verse... we must not leave out important aspects...

LGBT promoter Father James Martin has questioned whether the biblical condemnation of homosexual behavior may be mistaken, referencing the example of slavery. Where the Bible mentions [same-sex sexual] behavior at all, it clearly condemns it. I freely grant that. The issue is precisely whether the biblical judgment is correct. The Bible sanctioned slavery as well and nowhere attacked it as unjust.

Liberals Taxing The Rich Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this: The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing. The fifth would pay $1. The sixth would pay $3. The seventh would pay $7. The eighth would pay $12. The ninth would pay $18. The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59. So, that’s what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed...

  • Abortion Hurts Men, Too

When we talk about abortion, our focus is first and foremost on the baby in the womb, rightly so. We also realize the destructive impact abortion can have on the mother. But what we often forget, is how devastating abortion can be to the fathers as well. In my forthcoming book Jezebel’s War Against America, I draw attention to the emasculating effect that abortion can have on men. As Allen West stated when speaking to a conservative women’s group in 2011, “We need you to come in and lock shields, and strengthen up the men who are going to the...

    Got Questions ^ | n/a | n/a
Question: "Do the souls of aborted babies go to heaven?" Answer: Abortion as we know it today was not practiced in biblical times, and the Bible never specifically mentions the issue of abortion. It is clear from the Scriptures that an unborn baby is known by the Lord, even from the time of conception (Psalm 139:13-16). Although the Bible does not mention abortion or aborted babies, we do have two keys to help us unlock the answer to the question of whether the souls of aborted babies go to heaven. The first key is from the only passage in the...

Luther Thought Purgatory was an Open Question? I came across this link posted on the Catholic Answers Forums: The Hope of Eternal Life. The link is ecumenical in nature, an attempt to smooth over the edges between Roman Catholicism and Lutheranism. This is the excerpt that was posted on CAF: 181. The most explicit discussion of purgatory in the Confessions comes in the 1537 Smalcald Articles, II, 2, which addressed the mass as sacrifice. Besides being itself a violation of the Gospel, the mass as sacrifice "has produced many noxious maggots and the excrement of various idolatries" (§11), the first...

One of the blessings and curses of the internet is the ability it provides us to read many sermons by both contemporary pastors and those of the past. It’s a blessing because there is great wisdom and insight to be discovered. It’s also a curse because of the immense amount of error to be found – especially in teachings found in today’s sermons. Sometimes I find dogmatic statements by teachers that are wholly untrue. Usually, they are written or spoken to make the erroneous point that something shockingly new, unprecedented and unpredicted in the New Testament – something that represented...

Six Contradictions of Socialism in USA America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Over the years, I’ve had several Catholic friends and converts ask why I ultimately didn’t convert to their denomination. During my first two years of college, I spent a significant amount of time with Catholics, including at the (then?) US Opus Dei headquarters in NYC. I attended these gatherings with a good friend, who eventually decided to convert from Evangelicalism. I came close to converting, but ultimately decided against it. This has surprised some Catholics. I suspect this is because the standard narrative is that Protestants, especially Evangelicals, are crossing the Tiber in great droves. Statistically, the narrative isn’t quite...
