My eighteen month old great-grandson Alfonso has undergone open heart surgery today for a congenital heart defect. There were complications. He is in critical condition in a Mexico City hospital. His parents are natually distraught.

My one and a half year old great-grandson Alfonso goes into the hospital today for open heart surgery. He was born with Tetralogy of Fallot and is in pretty bad shape. If you believe in such things, please pray for him and for his mom and dad.

MONTERREY, Mexico — Two unknown assailants attacked the U.S. Consulate General in this northern metropolis early Sunday with gunfire and a grenade that did not detonate, authorities said.
