Do you know if firing up a charcoal grill is going to be an issue at this range? Since we’re only coming out for the day this time (sick cat), I’m planning to make pig candy there.
I HAVE to get one of those for HAP. She used to have a little pig flashlight key chain that oinked when you turned it on. This would be an outstanding replacement.
Understandable, but a true bacon connoisseur would not be so bothered by this. Franchise made burgers never have enough bacon to begin with, and what they do put on there is typically soft and limp. That’s why as a bacon fiend, its important to carry your own bacon, for just such events. Thick cut smokey goodness fried to the point where the meat is firm, but the fat still has a little bit of goosh in it, so you get that little bit of bacon grease when you bite down. So savory and flavorful, its making my mouth water just thinking about it. I call it American Excess Bacon. Don’t leave home without it.

Sure, I’ll join for a look-see, though so far I’m agreeing with Humble, that they’re expensive, and not showing proper respect towards our “specialness”. 11:00 sounds good to me.

The range opens at 9:00, do yall want to meet then or around 10:00?
Is this going to be a shooting trip, or are we just checking it out? If its a shooting trip, I'd say the earlier the better. I know the outside range near me, American Shooting Center, tends to fill up fast on Saturday.

I gotta agree with Eaker on this one. I personally don’t care one way or the other when it comes to winning or loosing, but obviously some do, and as the man said, we’re here to have fun.
Serranos are a mandatory ingredient for chili. Never tried wax peppers. Will have to look for some of those. I’ve heard they’re similar to banana peppers, which are awesome.
Never understood them habenero folks. No flavor all pain.
My guts can't handle that level of heat any more, but I used to love habaneros. Grew them for a little while. The trick is to let them ripen to a dark red. They loose some of their heat, and you can enjoy the flavor more.
