Breaking news last week featured in the Wall Street Journal and Fox News has featured the story and data released by an unknown hacker or whistleblower that appears to be obtained from the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, England. There has been confirmation from Steve McIntyre, a climate scientist who is featured and attacked in the leaked information that seems to verify its authenticity. McIntyre was not one of the elite group from the CRU, but one of many scientists who has been seeking data and facts through a freedom of information request. Requests for data...

AGRICULTURE — Help struggling California farmers I am writing to encourage people in Arizona to attend an event Friday in support of California farmers who are struggling this year. Their water supply has been cut off due to radical environmental regulations and the Delta smelt, an endangered fish. This is important for all Americans to understand because this area supplies produce for our food supply. I have been to the Web site www.farmwater.org and seen the photos of people standing in line for food to receive carrots from China. This is disturbing on so many levels to me and I...

SOCIALIST ALERT! SOCIALIST ALERT! INTERVIEW WITH ROBERT MCCHESNEY In The German Ideology, Marx said the following about the media: “The class which has the means of material production at its disposal has control at the same time over the means of mental production, so that thereby, generally speaking, the ideas of those who lack the means of mental production are subject to it. The ruling ideas are nothing more than the ideal expression of the dominant material relationships, the dominant material relationships grasped as ideas.” Since Marx’s time, “the means of mental production” in society have expanded into a globalizing...

'Net neutrality' would slow the flow FCC plan is another Big Government power grab By Sen. John McCain Ronald Reagan once famously said, "Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it." It appears that the former president foresaw the fate of the Internet. When the Internet first began to catch on with consumers as a new marketplace for purchasing books, clothes and music, state and federal legislators stepped in and attempted to tax Americans' Internet use....

This concentrates on my concerns as an attorney about the imminent and growing threats to our Constitution and our form of government. We have reason to be very afraid of what is happening. THE TRUTH ABOUT THE HEALTH CARE BILL Well, I have done it! I have read the entire text of proposed House Bill 3200: The Affordable Health Care Choices Act of 2009. I studied it with particular emphasis from my area of expertise, constitutional law. I was frankly concerned that parts of the proposed law that were being discussed might be unconstitutional. What I found was far worse...

I did a bunch of Internet work on Thursday evening and Friday last week, then went out of town. When I returned on Sunday I could smell a man's cologne in my kitchen and could tell someone had been in my home while I was gone. Nothing was stolen or missing, but I checked with my neighbor who is a retired cop from NY City to see if he noticed any activity at my house. As a matter of fact, his dogs were barking Sunday night and he looked in my driveway to see if my son's truck was there....

Suicide by Drugs by Kathy Gibson Boatman Issue 140 - September 30, 2009 We watched the graduation caps and tassels fly up in the air and we applauded the graduate’s success with grins on our faces and a tremendous sense of relief. The tumultuous High School years came to a close with possession of that all-important document and foundation for adult life, the High School diploma. Our son is a young man who has struggled to find his niche in life and I recall a conversation with my close girlfriends and fellow moms as we returned home from a mom’s...

Catholic Online As I watch the appointment of radical social activists such as Chai Feldblum to significant positions I grow increasingly concerned. WASHINGTON, D.C. (Catholic Online) – The White House Press Secretary issued this release: Chai R. Feldblum, Nominee for Commissioner, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. “Chai Feldblum is a Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center where she has taught since 1991. She also founded the Law Center’s Federal Legislation and Administrative Clinic, a program designed to train students to become legislative lawyers. Feldblum previously served as Legislative Counsel to the AIDS Project of the American Civil Liberties...

Mexico flu strikes wrestlers to politicians Thu Apr 30, 2009 8:52am EDT MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Roberto Mendoza was a brawny masked wrestler, aged 29, who ate heartily, pumped iron at the gym and loved football. Then he caught a vicious strain of flu, checked into hospital and nine days later he was dead. "It was very quick. He got worse and worse, they put tubes in him, then he died," said his red-eyed sister Belen, 32, who works in a small Mexico City eatery that is being scrubbed with bleach as she speaks. In the grindingly poor city district...
