So far more Jews are outside of the nation of Israel than inside it. Jews make up only 76.6% of the population of Israel.

These are the reasons that I question whether today’s nation Israel is the Israel of the Bible. I think no man can answer this question. I cannot. God knows. I don’t.

I doubt it.

It is not the Jewish people - it is a secular democracy, almost half non-Jews. And most Jews in Israel are atheists.

If true, does this not change everything re: biblical prophecy?

The real question is how many millions in Iran will want the Islamic Republic once it no longer has any power or authority over them, Khameni is dead and the army impotent?

Churches today are not churches at all using the Biblical definition.

The Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work (His death, burial, resurrection) is the 1. Foundation of the ekklesia of God; 2. He is the Head of the ekklesia of God; 3. He is the Center and has the pre-eminence in the ekklesia of God; 4. He and He alone is the Unifying Identity of the ekklesia of God (David Bolton, christcenteredchristianity.com).

He is none of these things in what are called churches today. Even the word “church” is not in scripture. Ekklesia in Greek was a common secular word used to describe gatherings even of unbelievers. Not a religious word.

After I retired I flipped a few houses for a nice profit. My daughter was my realtor.

My last house my daughter (who found the property) told me she could not list my house at the price I wanted for multiple reasons including it was way above the neighborhood’s #1 house. No comps. She and I agreed I would do a FSBO. Not an issue with her - we are still close.

I had 2 realtor friends agree that my price was reasonable and not too high. They both said its value would be evident to buyers. I showed house to maybe 10 realtors agreeing to pay them 3% as buyer’s agents. Sold house at my full asking price and had one offer above asking price. Paid buyer’s agent his 3% & happy to do so.

Later had a valuable wooded 5 1/2 acres/building site for 2 houses with 2 perk sites I tried to sell myself w/o success. Retained my daughter for reduced commission (her offer, not my request) and property sold quickly for more than our asking price.

Conclusion: you never know.

BTW - buyers fell in love with house and what I did with it and became friends - that was 2017. Couple downsizing with 4 kids out.

Start every day with God. He created you. He gave His son to die for you so you have been purchased with the shed blood of Jesus that can cleanse you from all sin. Give Him first place today. No guarantee that all will be well, but guarantee that He can be your peace and LIFE through the day.

Give yourself to Him; ask Him to reveal Himself to you - and He will. Even the apostle Paul was asking to know the Lord more near the end of his life: Philippians 3:8 - 12

Overall, a good word.

But with one small error - which I know McArthur knows - and should not have made: He says, “they can’t match God’s righteousness, so they simply change the definition of holiness”.

It is a common error among Christians to equate righteousness and holiness. They are two different things, not equal. And our God is both.

Righteousness is the character of “rightness”. God is “right” in all that He does because of His character.

Holiness means “separate” - completely other - unique, unlike anything else, and separated from everything else.

Are they related? Of course. But they are not the same thing.

Study for yourself the Greek and Hebrew words for both meanings.
