In a very lame appearance on CNN's State of the Union on Sunday, Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg gushed that the military had done a "terrific" job regarding the Chinese balloon, and generally praised his boss's handling of the matter. But one member of the show's panel had a decidedly different take.David Urban, a CNN commentator and former adviser to Donald Trump, called the balloon: "A three-story, giant middle finger floating across America, courtesy of the Chinese government, right? And I think that's really what Americans take umbrage at. The notion that the Chinese can come here and just say,...

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Thursday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that the latest $928 billion infrastructure offer from a group of Senate Republicans was “a good sign” in the negotiations on President Joe Biden’s $1.7 trillion plan. Buttigieg said, “We met the urgency of confronting COVID with the rescue plan. Now, we got to meet the urgency of preparing the American economy to succeed for the next many decades with the American Jobs Plan and generational investment in the infrastructure we count on from the tradition of stuff like roads and bridges to newer things like the internet, access for...

A former New Jersey man claims he was sexually assaulted by celebrity Judge Andrew Napolitano in exchange for a lenient sentence in an arson case in the 1980s, according to a bombshell lawsuit filed Friday. The alleged victim, Charles Corbishley, also alleges the judge tried to block him from filing the suit in Manhattan federal court by lodging false police reports against him, the suit states. In a statement, Fox News, where Napolitano works as senior judicial analyst, said the judge will fight the allegations in court. “Judge Napolitano has assured us in the strongest possible terms that these allegations...

Mayor Pete Buttigieg doesn’t believe he’ll be the first gay president if elected in 2020. “I would imagine we’ve probably had excellent presidents who were gay — we just didn’t know which ones,” he told “Axios on HBO.” “I mean, statistically, it’s almost certain.” Asked if he possibly knew which commander-in-chief was playing for the other team, the Democratic hopeful said: “My gaydar even doesn’t work that well in the present, let alone retroactively. But one can only assume that’s the case.”

LAS VEGAS — Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Ind., on Saturday directly confronted one of his biggest vulnerabilities as a contender for the Democratic presidential nomination: running as a white man who has led a life of relative privilege at a time when many in his party are eager for a woman or a minority candidate to become their next leader. Speaking at a fund-raiser for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender causes, Mr. Buttigieg drew on his own experiences as a gay man in a predominantly straight society. But he also rejected the idea that “there are equivalencies”...

Presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg drew a sold-out crowd to a fundraiser at an iconic West Hollywood gay bar on Thursday. Attendees at The Abbey each paid about $25 to attend the grassroots event for Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, who was introduced by his husband, Chasten. “If anybody tells you whether they’re not sure if America is capable in these twisted and dark times of delivering or vindicating our hopes,” Buttigieg told the crowd, “tell them you saw at The Abbey in West Hollywood the top tier presidential candidate on his way to the White House, moments after...

Pete Buttigieg said in an interview broadcast Tuesday that he and his husband Chasten want to be fathers one day – but 'maybe' he'll have to finish his historic run for president first. And he told a 'Today' show audience that he plans to keep emphasizing his religious faith in the face of hecklers who berate him for being a gay Christian. The 37-year-old Democrat takes the almighty seriously, and claimed that while God isn't likely a partisan, he would never be a Republican in the mold of Donald Trump. He said it's 'important that we stop seeing religion used...

The mayor of South Bend, Indiana and an upstart 2020 presidential candidate has been accused of sexual assault. “My name is Hunter Kelly. I am 21 years old. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to do. For the past three nights, I have not slept even a single hour. I have vomited eight times,” Kelly said in a Medium blog post.

The 37-year-old Indiana mayor — a graduate of Harvard and Oxford universities, Rhodes Scholar, Afghanistan veteran and musician — sent social media ablaze Monday night when he delivered a touching message to the people of France in the wake of the Notre Dame blaze — in fluent French. English and French are just two of seven languages that Buttigieg speaks. “To the people of France, I would like to say that Notre Dame cathedral was like a gift to the human species,” the Democrat told a reporter from the French station BFM TV at a fundraiser in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. “We...

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is officially a candidate for the 2020 Democratic nomination. You wouldn’t think that a mayor of a small city would be in contention, but he’s at the top. His star has been rising since rumblings of his campaign moves were reported. He raised more money than better-known progressives, like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). He’s in the top five in terms of those filling their war chests. He’s apparently been well received in Iowa. So, with the 2020 Democratic clown car getting bigger, how do you thin the heard? Well, you attack and it seems the opposition...

No, Democrat wonder candidate du jour Pete Buttigieg is not some bridge-building centrist who really gets the vibe of Normal Americans and promises to bring us all together in a festival of hugging and liking each other. That’s a con. He’s just another leftist who wants to do all the same miserable things to people like you and me that every other pinko trying to pick up the torch from Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit wants to do. Only to get past our defenses, to avoid tripping our alarms like Big Chief Liz and Willie Brown’s Ex do, he tries to be...

A far-right Australian senator who was internationally criticized after he blamed Muslims for the Christchurch mosque shooting attacks was smacked across the back of his head with an egg on Saturday by a teen protester. After being struck by the egg during a press conference in Melbourne, a shocked Sen. Fraser Anning then smacked the teen in his face in response.

When you apologize for using a term that you yourself call "vulgar, crass and offensive," wouldn't you include in your apology the person against whom you used it? Apparently not, if you're Mika Brzezinski, and the person you insulted is a prominent conservative. Returning to Morning Joe today after a day off for "a family matter," Mika Brzezinski apologized for having on Wednesday's show called Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a "butt boy." NewsBusters editor Scott Whitlock reported the slur here. But whereas Brzezinski apologized "especially to the LGBT community" and to her colleagues, she didn't apologize . . ....

President Trump lashed out at Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe,’ for using a homophobic slur to describe Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Brzezinski, in a discussion about Pompeo’s recent interview with ‘Fox & Friends,’said on Wednesday: “I understand that Donald Trump doesn’t care…But why doesn’t Mike Pompeo care right now? Are the pathetic deflections that we just heard when he appeared on Fox and Friends, is that a patriot speaking, or a wannabe dictator’s buttboy?” Trump reacted via Twitter on Thursday: “If it was a Conservative that said what ‘crazed’ Mika Brzezinski stated on her show yesterday, using...

MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski apologized Wednesday for a remark she made on air that drew criticism for its homophobic implications. During a segment on "Morning Joe," Brzezinski blasted Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for his response to the killing of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi. Pompeo had appeared on the Fox News morning show "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday to talk about a range of topics, including the terror attack in France and U.S. border security. In the sit-down interview, he evaded the hosts' questions about Khashoggi's murder and cast doubt on evidence that said Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed...

The mayor of a southeastern Ohio town has resigned over accusations that she repeatedly called a gay police officer “queer” in front of his colleagues and created a hostile work environment. Jackie Welker, council president in the Village of Pomeroy, tells The Associated Press that 78-year-old Mayor Mary McAngus submitted a letter of resignation Saturday. …

Keith Olbermann is back on the air – at Current TV. Here is video from his show last night where he talked with the founder of the far-Left site, Daily Kos – Markos Moulitsas. This video shows Kos calling Olbermann a “national treasure,” and attacking MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, whom Kos had a big falling out with which, he says, led him to being banned from appearing on MSNBC.

First, James Ready nearly got his boyfriend, Massachusetts congressman Barney Frank, in deep doo-doo when he got arrested for growing and possessing marijuana — while Frank was in the house with him. Then, he mouthed off to a couple of (semi-drunk) ladies on a plane, causing a fight after he called another passenger "Santa Claus." And now he's staging bizarre performance art.

Yet another jaw-dropper for a president whose stock-in-trade is manufacturing a false image. Yesterday, after botching the first-pitch at the Washington Nationals' home-opener, the president was asked a simple question: Who, while growing up, was your favorite Chicago White Sock? Obama, who lived and worked in the Sox' South Side ‘hood, might have named a number of players-Bill Melton. Richie Allen. or Moe Drabowsky. Instead, he whiffed. Seems the White Sox fan can't name a White Sock (and refers to the well known former Chicago landmark Comiskey part as "Cominsky" park). This is typical of Obama, who when not lecturing,...
