Moviegoers at Stadium 16 Theater in Evansville attending a showing of “Passion of the Christ” got more than they bargained for Saturday night. They were greeted in the lobby of the theater by a man wearing a ‘red devil’ costume. Tyler Wendell, a 19 year old freshman at the University of Southern Indiana, caused quite a ruckus with his get-up. The audience, many who were part of church groups, was visibly upset by the antics of Wendell. ”I always like to push the limits,” Wendell said. Many were upset that Wendell chose to wear a devil costume to a religious...

The President met this morning with three of the judicial nominees being blocked by the obstreperous committee Democrats...... Carolyn Kuhl, Janice Brown and Priscilla Owen...... and reaffirmed his support of them, then answered a few questions from the press. Later this morning he flew to Florida to attend two Bush-Cheney 2004 fundraisers, one with brother Jeb at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort (where guests munched Mickey Mouse shaped Krispie treats), and this afternoon gave a speech on Medicare to seniors at Englewood Neighborhood Center. His second fundraiser is this evening, so more pictures will follow. Enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

W.C. Fields said it best: Better there than dead - but not by much.

There's a reason a half-million people have left Philadelphia over the last 50 years.

They don't want to be there.

This is not some new phenomenon. W.C. Fields would pick Philly only if the alternative was internment.

Philadelphia was host to one of the first gay-rights marches in the country in July 1965 in front of Independence Hall. Since then, a flourishing gay-friendly community known as the "gayborhood" has grown up around the area of 12th and Locust Streets in Center City. RON CORTES / Inquirer Artist Ann Northrup, 54, sits on the scaffolding in front of her mural, “Pride and Progress,” on the western wall of the William Way Community Center on Spruce Street. The mural, which takes up almost an entire block, was started in August. Northrup and 20 others used more than 50 gallons...

For education and discussion only. Not for commercial use. I was hugging the curb with my bicycle, but it didn't matter - the car's sideview mirror smacked my handlebars, spinning my wheel and tumbling me onto the pavement. I had bloody elbows and knees, but nothing serious. A policeman saw the whole thing and pulled the driver over. I was expecting the driver to apologize, but he just whined that he barely touched me. Still in shock, I let him go. Philadelphia is not a bike town - largely because cars won't let it be. And the city has done...
