Back in September 2023, Joe Biden announced a new team to lead the White House’s national monkeypox response. Biden named Dr. Demetre Daskalakis as the White House National Monkeypox Response Deputy Coordinator. Demetre Daskalakis Instagram On Wednesday Dr. Daskalakis turned in his resignation at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). His resignation came hours after news broke that CDC Director Susan Monarez was ousted from the agency. His resignation comes on the same day that Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced a slew of changes to limit access to the COVID-19 vaccine. On Wednesday...

Democrat commentator Julian Epstein said on Fox Business Wednesday that its leaders are driving themselves into political ruin by embracing fringe ideas that alienate voters. With a sinking approval rating after their 2024 losses, Democrats scrambled to rebrand, as some conceded their message sounds more like a lecture than a campaign pitch. Appearing on “The Evening Edit,” Epstein said the party’s collapse stems from its fixation on cultural and ideological battles pushed by academic elites and activist groups. “The Democratic Party is in the dumps. Every single indicator, whether it’s fundraising, party registration or ID, whether it is all of...

By now you might have seen a video clip circulating on social media of a defiant and terrified young Scottish girl wielding a knife and a hatchet to fend off the advances of a migrant man who allegedly had been harassing her and her younger sister. You can hear the fear and anger in their voices, a mix of desperation and rage and confusion. You can also hear the man’s voice, taunting them. At one point one of the girls cries out, “Don’t touch my little sister, she’s only twelve!” You might also have heard how the story ended: the...

India is now facing a 50% import tariff against the majority of their goods (electronics and pharmaceuticals exempted). However, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has vowed not to yield to the pressure. Modi said the world was witnessing a “politics of economic selfishness.” For approximately a decade many western countries including the U.S. have heaped effusive praise on India as corporations viewed the massive Indian population, the world’s largest democracy, as both workers and consumers. However, after the western sanctions against Russia were delivered, India -a BRICS nation- began pulling back from western alignment and influence. What we are witnessing...

CDC Director Susan Monarez was fired less than a month on the job. CNN and The Washington Post and The Hill confirmed Dr. Monarez has been ousted. Details of Monarez’s departure from the CDC are not immediately available. The Hill reported: Susan Monarez, the longtime government scientist recently confirmed as director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has been let go from her position after less than a month in the role. SCOTLAND — According to reports, the homeland of William Wallace has shifted away from charging into certain death in the name of freedom to just letting their teenage daughters handle the violent rape gangs. "I let my daughter have a knife, she can probably handle a gang of Muslim men," said local man Ewan Grant. "I would help, but my couch is really very comfortable. Plus, dealing with gangs who want to rape our daughters sounds like a lot of work." Instead of facing mortal danger in the name of freedom like their ancestors, today's Scottish have opted to give...

In yet another incident in which a supposed public servant has stolen immense amounts of taxpayer funding in a corruption scheme, Charlotte City Council member Tiawana Brown has been indicted by a federal grand jury over a scheme that saw her and her daughters pilfering well over $120,000 in Covid relief funds, using the money to fund luxury purchases. Brown is running for re-election despite the scandal. As background, the relief funding handed out by the federal government during the COVID-19 pandemic has become infamous for the vast amount of fraud spawned by it. Tim Walz’s Minnesota, for instance, saw...

President Donald Trump appears to have finally drawn a line in the sand against the radical leftist, anti-American political chaos machine that George Soros has fueled with his ungodly billions over the years. Trump took to Truth Social August 27 to publicly lambast the leftist billionaire and called for criminal charges to be filed against: “George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son [Alex], should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America.” The president continued: “We’re not going to allow these lunatics to rip apart America...

CNN Senior Justice Correspondent Evan Perez inaccurately claimed Wednesday that semiautomatic firearms could fire “dozens of bullets” with a single pull of the trigger while covering a Minneapolis shooting. An active shooter opened fire during an all-school mass held by the Annunciation Catholic School on Wednesday morning, killing at least two children and injuring 17. Perez made the comments on “The Situation Room” before there was any official information about the type of firearm used. “It was really disturbing to hear what the man we heard from the affiliate said about how long it went on,” co-host Pamela Brown said....

While in college back in the mid-1970s, I wrote a short story on AI. I give a little background on the early mini-computers I operated with a photo of the Honeywell H200 I took. I don't have the original short story anymore but I wrote a pretty good summary highligting the major theme. Essentially, a computer operator was given the opportunity to train a computer as it discovers the world and asks questions.

VIDEOAs soon as I heard that Taylor Swift had gotten engaged to Travis Kelce I thought that there was a poor shmoe destined to be immortalized as a monster in one or more of her future record albums. My second thought was wondering what was the reaction to this news from Swift's number one fan, the Liberal Pink Hat Lady. I checked and the answer is "gushing teenybopper" despite the fact she is well into her fifties. As you can see, the Liberal Pink Hat Lady is the comedy gift that keeps on giving. The good news for her, is...

This will come as a shock to at least three of you. Yep, apparently a bunch of the "based and redpilled" crowd in D.C. are actually sodomites with sexual fetishes. More from The New York Times: The most powerful out gay man in the Trump administration is [Treasury Secretary Scott] Bessent. There are a handful of others in the Treasury Department. Other A-Gays include Tony Fabrizio, the president's longtime pollster; Trent Morse, a departing deputy assistant to the president; Richard Grenell, who was put in charge of the Kennedy Center; and Jacob Helberg, an under secretary of state. These are...

Good day, legends. I hope you're having a fantastic day and so far you are having a great week. Now, legends, of course, we have a lot to go over. Of course, a lot to add nuance to, to add perspective to everywhere from the front line to the fuel bowser in Russia. And we have, of course, a lot to go over. So, today we're going to start, we're going to talk about the AWOL crisis that is unfolding in Ukraine, but we're going to add some perspective to that, but also the difficulties that come with that. that...

The fact is, said a retired Dassault executive, that “those questioning the Rafale’s combat capability forget just how long the aircraft has been around, how Dassault was one of the first aircraft design companies to seriously mitigate the aircraft’s signature by treating the inlets with radar absorbing materials, how it was one of the first aircraft to have an electronically-scanning array radar, and so on.” “These and other features of Rafale make it more than a match for these US aircraft within the visual range part of the engagement envelope,” he continued.

“Cannon fodder” is a term used to describe combatants thought to be expendable. Those who send “cannon fodder” into battle have little regard for their well-being. A high casualty rate they see as the price to pay for accomplishing some strategic goal, in the case in question, the removal of Donald Trump from the battlefield. The question needs to be asked, why did Democrat strategists push Black officials into the forefront of their lawfare campaign against Donald Trump? With the exception of Special Counsel Jack Smith, nearly every high-profile prosecution was spearheaded by Black attorneys, judges, and committee chairs like...

Virtually every observer of American higher education agrees that it is in trouble, and most think the short to midterm future for universities is pretty bleak. Most emphasize growing disenchantment with the academy on the part of governmental funders, most conspicuously the Trump-era federal government. Still others point to both the enrollment decline of the past 15 years along with the shrinking supply of college-age Americans in coming years because of declining fertility rates. Another factor arising that could be both a threat and an opportunity for colleges is artificial intelligence (AI). Will it magnify higher education’s troubles or help...
