California police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to attack a 13-year-old girl but ended up with a broken ankle after she fought him off with jiu-jitsu. The incident unfolded on May 6 at Carmel-by-the-Sea as the girl was walking home, according to Michael Blackburn, her jiu-jitsu instructor, who spoke with KSBW-TV. “Halfway home, a gentleman was standing in between two cars, and he stepped out to punch her in the face,” said Blackburn. The girl reacted by using the jiu-jitsu training she had undertaken for three years in Blackburn’s classes at the Carmel Youth Center. “She punched...

Shocking police bodycam footage showed the fatal officer-involved shooting of an armed Afghan man during a traffic stop last month. Jamal Wali, 36, was pulled over by a Fairfax, Virginia, police officer for an expired inspection tag last month when things turned deadly. Wali informed the officer he was armed before going on an insane rant about how much he hates the United States.

On Saturday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend, Capehart hosted "Original Sin" co-author Alex Thompson. Thompson described the Democrat party as "sleepwalking" about Biden's inability to serve, until the disastrous debate made that impossible to ignore. But there was someone who was still somnambulating even after the debate—Jonathan Capehart. In a PBS appearance more than two weeks after the debate, Capehart said that people calling on Biden to drop out of the race were "scaredy-cats," and that "I am not worried about him, his abilities, his performance or his mental acuity."For the sake of disclosure, transparency, and journalistic integrity, it behooved...

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins was not pleased during a Thursday interview she had with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., when he accused the media of being complicit in spreading false information during the COVID pandemic. “You know, one of the big mistakes that you and many of your media colleagues made during COVID is to try to convince the American people that they should trust the experts,” Kennedy said. “What we should do is trust the science,” he argued. Collins countered, “The message was to trust the science, and what studies were finding.” “No, it was trust...

On Friday US District Judge Beryl Howell disregarded the Supreme Court’s ruling on Trump’s authority to fire labor board members in her decision to deny a stay of her finding that Trump’s ousting of US Institute for Peace officials (USIP) was unlawful. The US Supreme Court on Thursday allowed President Trump to fire labor board members in a 6-3 decision. “Because the Constitution vests the executive power in the President, see Art. II, §1, cl. 1, he may remove without cause executive officers who exercise that power on his behalf, subject to narrow exceptions recognized by our precedents, see Seila...

A new battle is stirring on Capitol Hill as Senate Democrats have threatened to not move forward with confirmations of President Donald Trump’s US attorney nominees around the country – already following through with a hold on one of his picks. Senate Democrats say they are merely following precedent established by now-Vice President JD Vance under President Joe Biden, when the then-senator held up US attorney nominations in protest of what he called the political prosecutions against Trump. Sen. Dick Durbin, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, announced Thursday that he would hold the nomination of Jason Reding...

US President Trump's announcement of a so-called "Golden Dome" defense system modeled after Israel's "Iron Dome" has created both an opportunity and a dilemma for Canadian Prime Minister Markey Carney. "On the one hand, the diagrams of the 'Golden Dome' show it covering all of North America," Carney observed. "This implies that we could be protected for free. On the other hand, an overt alliance with the United States could make Canada a target of a missile attack from one of the United States' many foreign enemies." "Canada is a weak and inoffensive nation," Carney pointed out. "Switzerland, another weak...

If you like maps, this piece is just for you. Political animals, especially the kind who oppose the current peaceful ideological revolution within the United States, count on voters to have short memories and forget things that happened not all that long ago. Take Joe Walsh and Adam Kinzinger, two of the biggest morons on this platform, who are raking in massive subscription cash by screeching about “Orange Man Bad” 24/7 as prime examples. Walsh once demanded President Obama build moats filled with alligators to discourage illegal border crossings; now, he’s a raving lunatic clamoring to be loved by the...

CNN analyst Brian Stelter questioned the timing the announcement that former President Biden has cancer, calling it "extraordinary. Cancer isn't a disease you get suddenly. It develops over an extended period of time over many years. Since presidents have physical exams every year his doctor had to have known for some time that he had the disease. Why was his terminal case of the disease only made public at this time?" Stelter proceeded to answer his own question by observing that "the story that was pushed off the front page by the cancer announcement was the release of the video...

The National Security Council is a ¹cushy job inside the White House filled with bureaucratic analysts and people who are in place in an attempt to steer policy. Many of those detailed to the NSC represent the interests of the Silo agency from which they originate. The National Security Council contains approximately 350 full-time employees. The National Security Advisor, now Marco Rubio, is in charge of the NSC. Secretary Marco Rubio just fired more than 100 of them. Disinformation is on the rise, again. Russia has revitalized its long history of waging disinformation campaigns. While proving cause-and-effect is difficult, we suspect that Russia’s increased efforts likely are linked to the White House’s dismantling of counter-disinformation efforts. Executive Order 14149: "Restoring Freedom of Speech and Ending Federal Censorship". On his first day in office, President Trump signed Executive Order 14149, prohibiting federal agencies from engaging in activities related to combating misinformation and disinformation. Jonathan Lemire let the laugh--or at least the chuckle--out of the bag. And in doing so, he let slip the liberal media's disdain for the Trump administration, and its knee-jerk defense of elite liberal institutions. On today's Morning Joe, Lemire couldn't stifle a chuckle [video at 0:36] as he mentioned the claim by the Trump administration explaining its decision to revoke Harvard's right to enroll foreign students: "The DOJ also accused the university of coordinating [chuckles] with the Chinese Communist Party."Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

"Objective" United Nations: Tom Fletcher [the "14,000 babies" lie producer] tells to propagandist/journalist Amanpour (5.22.25):"We don't think it's Hamas doing that looting."Ponder:1. Does that mean, the UN, UNRWA always knows who is Hamas? How is that not a guilty charge on the UNRWA, again?2. Is he as "free" to say, just as journalists recently reported of being threatened as reported by International Press Centre (IPC). ["Watchdog: Gazan reporters ‘intimidated, threatened, assaulted by Hamas’". TOI. 5.16.25]?3. Both?

At one time, most Americans (and virtually all academics) would have agreed with the famous saying, often attributed to Voltaire, “While I disagree with what you say, I will defend to the death your right to say it.” Over the last several decades, that has dramatically changed. Many academics now seem to embrace the opposite view—something like, “Since I disagree with what you say, I will do everything possible to silence you.” Is that an exaggeration? You won’t think so after reading Nicholas Wolfinger’s new book, Professors Speak Out: The Truth About Campus Investigations. Wolfinger, a sociology professor at the...

The National Instant Background Check System (NICS) numbers for firearm sales and background checks in April 2025 continue the slight decline we have been seeing over the last year. April 2025 gun sales were about 3.7% less than those of April 2024. April 2025 background checks were about 3.2% less than those of April 2024.If you look at the last 26 years of April data for adjusted NICS, which is a close approximation of firearm sales, 2025, while lower than the last five years, is close, even a little higher, than the sales seen since the election of Barack Obama...
