For the Contemporary LongRifle Association's fundraiser, eight artisans recreated Colonial-era weapons, clothing and accoutrements, and this might be those items' backstory. In a time of Looming war, a young boy is thrust into a man's shoes in colonial North Carolina, to protect his family & farm. Twelve-year-old Wilbur Bowling had a smile on his face as he emerged from the forest that fringed his family's 25-acre farm on a cold March afternoon. He felt like a man. He looked like one too, at least in the opinion of Ruthie and Mary, his younger half-sisters. They were especially impressed with the...

A North Carolina runoff Tuesday was widely seen as a test of the GOP’s ability to elect more women in the Trump era — and Republicans failed. Despite having an impressive war chest and the backing of every Republican woman in the House — now down to 13 — Dr. Joan Perry was trounced by fellow physician Greg Murphy to capture the party’s nomination for the House special election. Perry, however, was up against powerful forces in the GOP, with President Donald Trump’s conservative House allies Mark Meadows of North Carolina and Jim Jordan of Ohio supporting Murphy. And Rudy...

We've put up the Twitter feeds for information keep in mind Ezra Levant is on the scene and the two other feeds are from supporters in the For Britain Movement and Avi Yemeni from Australia who has worked with Tommy Robinson. Its amazing I think of trials like Bunkerville and the Oregon Standoff and it takes months for courts to move from one thing to another including sentencing. But when it comes to Tommy Robinson just six days from conviction to sentencing is what we are seeing today. Indeed a Kangaroo Court determined to imprison Tommy Robinson. In Washington this...

Americans should be rallying together because of her success with the team, instead she is helping to divide us even further. She uses profanity to express her hatred towards the country and her character really shows when she speaks about President Trump. Rapinoe turned down an invite from the administration before it even happened. Rapinoe believes that her and her teammates should receive the same pay as the men’s team. She does not mention anything about the fact that the men’s team brings in a lot more revenue for the organization than her team does. Rapinoe is much like AOC,...

I am perennially asked whether I do or do not “believe” in autism. I suspect that on most occasions, it’s a test. Nonetheless, it’s a fair question that usually takes this form: “I know you don’t believe in ADHD; but do you believe in autism?” To be clear, it would be absurd of me to deny that there are children – plenty of them, relatively speaking – who frequently exhibit behaviors associated with the bogus diagnosis of ADHD (attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder). Those kids are problematic, for sure. But no one has ever proven that they “have” something. Childhood behavior disorders...

Ross Perot Jr., the presidential candidate’s son, has contributed the maximum amount allowed to President Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign. Perot’s populist campaigns in 1992 and 1996 are often credited to creating a path toward the 2016 election victory of Donald Trump. Records from the Federal Election Commission specifically show that on March 19 of this year, he wrote two $2,800 checks to Trump’s campaign — one for a potential 2020 primary election and one for the 2020 general election.

Sanders’ Song: ‘Leave It To Us Millionaires’ ‘Sanders on Steyer’s 2020 bid: ‘Tired of seeing billionaires trying to buy political power’. (The Hill, July 8, 2019) LOL! From Senator Bernie Sanders, whose Golden Rule seems to be it’s A-Okay to be a millionaire, but not a billionaire. Millionaires and billionaires have been trying to buy political power down through millennia—and sometimes enrich Socialist hangers-on like Bernie Sanders, who “somehow’ ended up with two mansions when he ran in DNC primaries back in 2016.

The UN’s brand of multilateralism is a perversion of its original mission - to achieve solutions to global problems through cooperation among sovereign nations rather than through the imposition of global governance “rules” and “norms” United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet said on Monday that she is appalled by the conditions in which migrants and individuals seeking refugee status are being held in detention in the United States after crossing the southern border from Mexico. She stressed that children should never be held in immigration detention or separated from their families, declaring that immigration detention is never...

Self-hating, ignorant children do not and never have represented the values of the greatest nation on earth. Let's keep it that way Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez introduced “The Green New Deal,” Kamala Harris has a plan to offer discounted housing loans based on race and Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke wants to take down the southern border to make America a better place. The methods of just these three Democrats would not only destroy the transportation, real estate, and most of America’s farming and agriculture industries but seriously jeopardize America’s ability to defend itself from nearly every hostile nation on the planet. Children...

We’ve been hearing a lot of talk recently about reparations, the idea that certain demographic groups in Western countries (but especially the USA) “owe” other demographic groups because of past injustices, whether real or imagined. Typically this talk is cast in racial tones – whites owe racial minorities for oppression, despite whites taking the historically unprecedented steps of abolishing formal slavery, granting minorities “civil rights,” and allowing minorities the opportunity to participate fully in their societies – something that virtually no other group of people in history have done. There has been a low level of background noise along this...

Still pumped after forcing rival Democratic presidential candidate former Vice-President Joe Biden to admit that he opposed forced busing back in the 1970s, Sen. Kamala Harris (Calif) sought to build on her momentum by vowing to revive this school integration technique. “It was racists who opposed busing their children to ghetto schools,” Harris maintained. “It’s a disgrace to see that the Vice-President refuses to admit his guilt and apologize. I urge all Democrat voters to reject racism and elect me to represent our Party in the 2020 presidential election. I will restore busing to its rightful place as a tool...

As someone who's about to hit 20 years of living in the DC area, calls for DC statehood always rumble at varying levels of loudness. The practical answer it will never happen is that no party is going to give two new Senators to the opposition party that will have zero chance of ever being competitive. The legal answer is that it would violate The Constitution. Granted, for Lefties using The Constitution as toilet paper is a feature, not a bug, but I digress. The real answer goes back to why it was written into the Constitution in the first place...

An investigative journalist who has spent years probing Jeffrey Epstein said that there were girls under the age of 18 on Epstein’s plane when former President Bill Clinton flew on it. Conchita Sarnoff, the journalist, appeared on Fox News this week and was asked about the issue. “Let me ask you this, because tonight President Clinton has spoken out and said I want to make it clear that there was some travel with him, there was always Secret Service, two had brief meetings, people who are trying to tie the two of them together, just like there are people trying...

VIDEO What better tribute to Ross Perot than to take a look at a few highlights of his 1993 debate on NAFTA with Al Gore. These clips illustrate the character of Perot. He turned out to be correct about the harm NAFTA would cause for American workers and economy as well as provided great entertainment in the way he handled Gore during the CNN debate hosted by Larry King.

We knew it. Well, we were pretty sure we knew it. But it turns out we were right; we knew it. On July 5 we speculated that the so-called ‘mainstream’ media was suppressing viewership numbers for POTUS Donald Trump’s July 4 “Salute to America” event which was broadcast on Fox News (and, we were later informed, on One America News Network as well). We speculated as much because the Left-wing media establishment despises this president and attempts to portray everything he does as wrongheaded, stupid, a failure, unpopular, etc., when in the vast majority of cases, just the opposite is...

Not withstanding my recent rant against the Wall Street Journal, I do still read it (hint, you can get it online through your local library link). It does still contain have some worthwhile material, like this op-ed: What Socialism Meant for My Great-Grandfather. It is written by Helen Raleigh, an immigrant from China, is the owner of an investment advisory firm.A few excerpts: After the Communist Party took over in 1949, it pushed for “land reform” to win the support of the country’s 300 million landless peasants. The Party claimed landowners were class enemies and exploiters of the poor, and...

Three-day long-range shooting match in New Mexico tests those who would target the throne of the King of 2 Miles. Everyone who has gotten into long-range shooting knows what it's like to keep going farther in distance. We all remember that magical moment when you pull the trigger, wait, watch the bullet impact the target, wait again, and the sound returns back to you. There is nothing like pushing the envelope once you’ve got your basics down. Playing at extreme ranges is nothing new, but now competitions are really taking notice and popping up across the nation and the world!...

Just when it looked like the threat of widespread primary challenges to House Democrats had quieted down, the activist left is agitating again to go after many of the party’s longtime incumbents. Tensions inside the House Democratic Caucus are running high after an ugly debate last month over legislation to provide emergency aid for the humanitarian crisis at the border. Progressives lambasted leadership and some centrists who backed the measure as “child abusers” because it lacked money to improve hygiene and nutrition standards for detained child migrants. That Democratic firefight and others have inflamed liberals looking ahead to 2020, including...
