U.S. President Donald Trump pressed Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to have Japanese automakers produce more vehicles in the United States, according to a readout of their recent meeting provided by the U.S. ambassador to Japan on Saturday. The two discussed recent public announcements by Japanese car makers, including Toyota Motor Corp’s decision to invest more in U.S. plants. “We talked about the need to see more movement in that direction but I think the president feels very positive that we will see such movement because all the economics support that,” said Ambassador William Hagerty.

Traditionally, the religious preferences of Americans are based on Judeo-Christian beliefs. At the same time, religion in America, as in other Western countries, again traditionally, refers to the relationship between God and Man. Is it possible to attribute Islam to Judeo-Christian beliefs which focus on the relationship between God and Man? As is known, the Judeo-Christian God, the God of the Bible, is the almighty God-Creator. Moreover, the Muslim god Allah is an entirely different character. If the God of Jews and Christians plays the role of a caring and wise father, then Allah is more like the commander of...

VIDEO This 1974 profile article about Joe Biden by Kitty Kelley could sink his 2020 candidacy. Not only does it reveal an uncomfortable level of creepiness by Biden but it also exposes his bigotry, ignorance, corruption, and arrogance plus political views that are taboo in the current Democrat party.

GLEN ROCK, NJ - Joe Piscopo weighed-in on Glen Rock's consideration to change Columbus Day on its 2020 Borough Calendar to Indigenous Peoples' Day. Piscopo, former Saturday Night Live comedian and an Italian-American who regularly talks about his heritage on his radio show, Piscopo In the Morning on 970AM The Answer, asked why Glen Rock "would do something like this?" "There are these great towns in New Jersey and then they do something like this?" Piscopo said. "You have to be true to your heritage," Piscopo said this morning on his radio program. "Now you're going to take it away....

“All the Words of This Life” (Acts 5:12-20) In our reading today from the Book of Acts, we find the apostles in Jerusalem, ministering in the name of the Lord and finding favor with the people. But the high priest and the Sadducees don’t like this. They’re jealous, and so they have the apostles arrested and thrown in jail. The Lord has other ideas, though. That night an angel comes and opens the prison doors and brings the apostles out and instructs them to carry on, saying, “Go and stand in the temple and speak to the people all the...

Former CIA Director John Brennan rebutted President Trump’s characterization of the actions of a deep-state cabal to try to prevent his election and undermine his presidency as “an attempted coup.” “Trump has it exactly backwards,” Brennan argued. “It was Trump’s exploitation of a flaw in the Constitution that allowed him to sneak into the White House despite losing the popular vote to Sec. Clinton that was the real coup. Those of us working to prevent the real coup are the real heroes in this story.” “The ascension of a former secretary of state to the office of president has historical...

“If fascism comes to America, it will be through our college and university system.” - Roger Simon, PJ Media Since I covered AOC’s completely ignorant, entitled comment regarding prosperity last week I feel it’s only fair to use today’s post to point out that not all Millennials are ignorant, uneducated and oblivious to reality. Alyssa Ahlgren, in her article Thoughts From a hipster Coffee Shop…gives me hope. My generation is becoming the largest voting bloc in the country. We have an opportunity to continue to propel us forward with the gifts capitalism and democracy has given us. The other...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) I’m old enough to remember when Beto was the “next Kennedy.” – At least, that’s what all the dreamy-eyed girls and guys in our fake news media kept telling us last fall, when Irish Bob O’Rourke was running against an evil Republican named Ted Cruz for a senate seat in Texas. Back then, all those Millennial fake journalists fought tooth and nail with one another to be Beto’s date, to get that coveted assignment of covering his campaign or writing a glowing profile of the three-term congressman with the unremarkable record. Heck,...

Pretty rare photos from a village in Belarus during the 1970s, 1975 to be exact. The people of the village made WW2 victory parade themed platforms for the parade. Each platform is a sort of show of its own. Like this first one. –nextpage– –nextpage–

Posted on January 15, 2019 by tim On November 3rd, 1957 a space rocket was launched from Baikonur which brought a Sputnik-2 satellite to the Earth orbit. This was the second man made space ship on the Earth orbit. And differently from its predecessor it was a much complex ship. It’s weight was just around a half ton. It looked like a conical capsule of 4 meter tall. It had a few chambers for scientific devices, radio, telemetric system, program module and a system to support temperature and air to the cabin. But most importantly this was a first space ship with...

From the Parody Project, an entertaining video that made me laugh just as much as the fantastic M4GW “climategate” video, done to the tune of Don McLean’s “American Pie”. While some may not think it’s appropriate for WUWT, we do have a “politics” and “satire” category, and it is quite good, so enjoy. My best advice? Share it to annoy your liberal friends, watch their heads explode when one of their favorite songs gets turned into a political satire piece.Lyrics at site. Youtube linkOriginal Blog

(Latest News At The Bottom) For Emmanuel Macron proposing income tax cuts and pensions adjusted to inflation seemed to be the right response to the Yellow Vests. But the early polling shows deep distrust and disbelief over his plans. A poll for BFM-TV reveals that 65 percent were not convinced by his proposals. Only 37 percent considered his proposals credible. 77 percent of those polled believed that Macron has not responded to the Yellow Vests with his proposals announced before the media Thursday evening.....

As recent electoral results have shown, not even Canada is immune to the rise of populist right-wing politics. Justin Trudeau has not only done severe damage to his reputation and chances of re-election, but he has also tarnished his brand of flamboyant progressivism for years to come... It's not that voters in the center have suddenly swung hard to the right, but rather that they are trying to swing away from this buffoon and everything that he is associated with. Bad optics and economic concerns swing elections way faster than principles and ideology ever could. That is the lesson here.

ATLANTA -- Hall of Fame manager Bobby Cox remains hospitalized after a stroke this month. People familiar with the situation say the former Atlanta Braves skipper has resumed walking and has regained feeling in his right side since he fell ill on April 3. But the people say Cox, 77, has yet to regain speech. The people spoke to The Associated Press on Friday on condition of anonymity because neither Cox nor the Braves have publicly disclosed details of his condition.

This week, former Vice-President Joe Biden announced "I am making myself available for voters to elect me the next president of the United States." Anxious to appeal to his Party's lunatic caucus, Biden unleashed an epic gaffe fest. First among many bloopers, Biden asserted that "Trump is the worst thing to happen to the world in my lifetime." Well, World War II was in full swing in 1942 when Biden was born. Fifty million people died in that war. This was followed by several other wars in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq in which hundreds of thousands were killed. Biden's lifespan...

I’m sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of Democratic candidates calling for policies to “fix” the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook’s, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we’ve become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food,...
