BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Marches are scheduled all over the country Saturday by those who say they want to show support for President Donald Trump. One of those events is planned for Berkeley where it's already stirring up controversy. "I think it is a civil rights issue. That people who support Donald Trump, who support the President have a right to make that known," Berkeley College Republicans member Jack Palkovic told ABC7. Palkovic says he plans to participate in a march on Saturday. A video and a Facebook event page announced the protest organized by Rich Black. He's listed as...

Democrats continue to attack Attorney General Jeff Sessions for a pair of meetings he had with the Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in 2016 while he was a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and an occasional surrogate for the Trump campaign. However, a new report from Fox News is throwing cold water on the idea that the meetings were part of some nefarious plot between the Trump campaign and Russia. Over at FoxNews.com, Hans Von Spakovsky reports that least one of the meetings was actually arranged, in part, by the Obama administration. The first [meeting] came at a conference...

Imagine if the suspect arrested today in connection with making phone threats to Jewish community centers around the nation had been a big Donald Trump supporter. Do any of you have any doubt at all that the fact of his support for Trump would have been in the first paragraph of all the mainstream media reports of his arrest? In fact, it would probably have appeared in the very first sentence. Well, Juan Thompson was arrested today as a suspect in the JCC phone threats but not only did his political leanings not appear in the first paragraph of the ABC News...

Jay Caruso noted that Senator Claire McCaskill had claimed early today never to have met with a Russian ambassador: Follow Claire McCaskill ✔ @clairecmc I've been on the Armed Services Com for 10 years. No call or meeting w/Russian ambassador. MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury College Professor Allison Stanger was injured by protesters Thursday evening as she was escorting a controversial speaker from campus. She was treated at Porter Hospital and released. Charles Murray, a political scientist who has been criticized for his views on race and intelligence, was invited to speak on campus by a student group. He was greeted late Thursday afternoon outside McCullough Student Center by hundreds of protesters, and inside Wilson Hall, students turned their backs to him when he got up to speak. College officials led Murray to another location and a closed circuit broadcast showed him...

After being denied a visa for entry into the United States last month, Tanveer Hussain knew just where to turn. The obliging offices of U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and fellow Democrat Senator Kirsten Gillibrand reached out to the embassy in New Delhi, India, and helped Hussain reapply for a visa to enter the U.S. to compete in the World Snowshoe Championship.Hussain is now charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, after Hussain was allegedly “engaging in a passionate kiss” with a 12-year-old girl and touched her in an “intimate area.”Life...

Days after he called on Congress to pass a school choice bill, President Donald Trump is set to visit a Catholic school in Orlando Friday, along with Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, where hundreds of students attend the school using a voucher from the state's tax credit scholarship program. During his stop at St. Andrew Catholic School, Trump is expected to once again tout the Sunshine State's program, as he did in his recent address to Congress. Under Florida's plan, the state uses public dollars to pay for private K-12 school tuition for low-income students and students with disabilities. The...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Friday that she's never met with the current Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak. "Not with this Russian ambassador, no," Pelosi told POLITICO's Jake Sherman and Anna Palmer during a Playbook interview, when asked if she'd ever met with the Russian envoy. But a file photo from Pelosi's 2010 meeting with Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev shows Kislyak at the table across from Pelosi — then House speaker — and Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.). Medvedev had been in the country for a meeting with President Barack Obama a day earlier and

Congratulations, liberals, it's another great moment in leftist-statist history! In the past few weeks, we've seen a growing number of ugly threats threats directed at the Jewish community. Specifically, there's been a slew of news about graveyard desecration and bomb threats. A lot of conservatives began yelling "flase flag" while liberals were sure this was the work of bigoted Trump voters. As usual, it looks like the conservatives were right. Juan Thompson, a former "journalist" and a Bernie voter, has been arrested for at least eight of the bomb threats - as well as stalking an ex-girlfriend.

Fortunately, NewsDiffs.com saved the original One form of fake news is to claim something happened when it never did. Another form of fake news is to claim something did not happen when in fact it actually did - especially when said claim is designed to cast aspersions on someone else. And if you’re the New York Times, you can take this to an even higher level: You can report something that appears to cast aspersions on someone you don’t like (aka “a Republican”), and then, when it comes to light that this something is actually not true and that the...

A Mexican congressman scaled great heights to demonstrate the “absurdity” of President Donald Trump’s proposed border wall between the US and Mexico. Braulio Guerra, a congressman from the state of Queretaro, tweeted photos and a video of himself sitting proudly on top of a 26-foot tall fence that separates the Mexican border city of Tijuana from the US. Guerra said he climbed the wall to illustrate the ridiculousness of the US president’s idea and point out that the futile spending would damage relationships between the two countries.

Well, that's Strange... Here’s what we know. In the photo below, Chuck Schumer appears with an unidentified foreign personage of some sort. They’re eating donuts at a Kirspy Kreme. We assume everything is on the up and up, because Schumer is obviously a person of the highest moral character, but we’d still like to know who his companion is. He looks kind of familiar, but we just can’t seem to place the face.

Not. Even. Close. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer don't really think Sessions committed perjury. They know he didn't. They're lying When Democrat politicians decide they’re going to run with a narrative, it has nothing to do with whether the narrative is true. It only has to do with whether they can sell it. The average person doesn’t know the legal definition of perjury. The average person who shares news links on social media doesn’t know either. If you repeat it enough and you convince these people that something happened, you’ve got a shot at winning the perception game and it...

Advisers to President Donald Trump are urging him to purge the government of former President Barack Obama's political appointees and quickly install more people who are loyal to him. A number of his advisers believe Obama officials are behind the leaks and are seeking to undermine his presidency, with just the latest example coming from reports that Attorney General Jeff Sessions met twice last year with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. and apparently misled senators about the interactions during his confirmation hearing. That was coupled with a New York Times story that Obama appointees spread information about the investigation...

Pedophilia has been on the radar more now than ever before. It started with conspiracy theories around a pizza shop in Washington DC and, most recently, with the downfall of right-wing activist Milo Yiannopoulos, as well as over 1,000 arrests around the United States in a single month. Ashton Kutcher has also testified in hearings about incidents of child trafficking that were uncovered by his team. Child and sex trafficking are an epidemic around the world, but as it strikes up more conversations and leads to more mainstream coverage, it will inevitably expose high ranking officials and elites around the...

Very odd, even more so than Mattis reportedly asking Michele Fluornoy to be his undersecretary at the Pentagon. (She turned him down, allegedly because implementing some of Trump’s policies would conflict with her “values.”) Fluornoy’s also an Obama alum but she’s a respected defense expert and was considered for Mattis’s position under Obama. Had Hillary won in November, Fluornoy would almost certainly be SecDef right now, the first woman ever to lead the department. Mattis might have reasonably concluded that the value of her expertise outweighed her political liabilities. But what’s the argument for appointing Anne Patterson? She’s a lifelong...

Is the GOP Trying to Kill President Trump? March 3, 2017/by Lester Jackson I have long maintained that the Republican Party is a greater threat to representative democracy than the Democrats. Although they seek to misrepresent themselves, it is no secret what to expect from Democrats. But when Republicans lie to voters with repeatedly broken promises to resist the Democrats, voters are stripped of any election choice on controversial issues. Although it is clearly the function – and obligation – of a second major party to provide opposition, Republicans repeatedly have lied to get elected and then joined forces with...
