“Your past, everything that has ever happened to you, everything you’ve ever done becomes raw fuel for the fire of your imagination. That is the meaning of transformation. The past is no longer a problem. You invent futures that are no longer limited by the past.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport) Let’s say you live in a three-story house…but in all the years you’ve lived there, you’ve never gone upstairs to the second and third floors. You’ve spent the entire time on the first floor. On the first floor, you’ve grappled with problems, made your stand, dealt with crises, planned your...

No one noticed. But I did. Back in 2008 Barack Obama said “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cqN4NIEtOYThen when confronted Obama denied it: O’Reilly: OK. I got a letter from Kathy LaMaster, Fresno, Calif. I said I would read one letter from the folks, all right? Obama: All right. O’Reilly: "Mr. President, why do you feel it's necessary to fundamentally transform the nation that has afforded you so much opportunity and success?" Obama: I don't think we have to fundamentally transform the nation. Yes, you do, you liar. The Obama worshipping minions...

Engineering is the science and practice of designing things, usually systems and sometime systems of systems. Engineers understand that nothing worthwhile happens by accident in this universe, ever. The probabilities are too vastly against it. With 70,000 gene pairs in the average chromosome and 12 different proteins at work, that would mean at least odds of (70,000 X 70,000 X 12 X 12) = 7.0 X 10^11 if you could get all that stuff in the same place at the same time without the added consideration of the right conditions. All the monkeys with their typewriters would have several thousands...

Steven Ricker has been in and out of jail 11 times since 2006. At about 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, 1 February, he was shot and killed. The Leesburg resident who shot him says that Ricker was attempting to force his way into his family's apartment. The manager of the apartment complex says that Ricker had banged on his door first, and that he appeared to be high and searching for drugs. The manager thought Ricker had left, until he heard the gunshot. Video at the link. ©2014 by Dean Weingarten: Permission to share is granted when this notice...

State lawmakers ought to investigate two unanswered allegations against wind energy in Michigan. The first persistent allegation is that, when it comes to efficiency and the environment, wind energy is a fraud. The second persistent allegation is that it often constitutes a health hazard. Michigan’s 2008-passed energy law, which created what amounts to a mandate that 10 percent of the state’s electricity be generated by in-state wind energy by 2015, is scheduled to be reviewed by the Legislature this year. That review will be a travesty and sham if it fails to include a serious effort to delve into these...

An Oregon legislator wants mental evaluations for police officers as little as “once a year” for one reason: Ferguson. Democratic Representative Lew Frederick appeared at a Portland town hall meeting over the weekend to announce a series of bills inspired by the Missouri incident involving teenager Michael Brown and police officer Darren Wilson. “I want to have a regular psychological evaluation of every law enforcement officer,” Frederick told the crowd, which responded with cheers. He suggested a time range from once a year to once every two years.

We are in the middle of a hot war in the Middle East, with constant terror attacks all over the world, including the United States, Europe, and Asia. The enemy is called violent Islam, or radical Islam, or fascist Islam, or reactionary Islam, or merely "orthodox Islam." We constantly waste time quibbling about the name. But we know the enemy by now. (And yes, there are plenty of Muslims who want peace, but who are too scared to speak out, with some brave exceptions I mention below. As long as the West colludes with violent Islam, peaceful Muslims will be...

Federal bureaucrats handed out more than 5.5 million new work permits to aliens inside the U.S. from 2009 to 2014 “beyond the number of new green card and temporary worker admissions,” according to a new report that accuses the Obama White House of setting up a shadow government program to do what the legitimate program won’t. “This is a huge parallel immigrant work authorization system outside the limits set by Congress that inevitably impacts opportunities for U.S. workers, damages the integrity of the immigration system, and encourages illegal immigration,” said the report, dated February 2015, by Jessica M. Vaughan of...

Editor’s note: This is a post by my (imaginary) guest author, the Very Honorable Ima Librul, Senator from the great State of Confusion Utopia. He is a founding member of CCCEB (Climate Change Causes Everything Bad), a charter member of President Obama’s Go For it Team, a senior member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Chairman of the Meretricious Relations Subcommittee. He is also justly proud of his expertise in the care and breeding of unicorns, for which his Save the Unicorns Foundation has received substantial Federal grants. We are honored to have a post of this caliber by a quintessential Librul such as the...

By pushing existing technology to the limits, undergraduates from NTU have assembled a 3D-printed body shell for an electric car, says Associate Professor Ng Heong Wah.SINGAPORE: Students from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) have built the first urban solar electric car with a 3D-printed body in Singapore, said the university in a news release on Monday (Feb 2). The car – named NTU Venture 8 (NV8) – is mounted on a carbon fibre single shell chassis. “We are extremely proud to have designed and assembled a 3D-printed body shell for the electric car,” Associate Professor Ng Heong Wah said. “The...

In what some are saying may be a move to lock up progressive support for a possible 2016 presidential run, Vice-President Joe Biden declared that if he were running this country everything would be free. “You know how we’ve all heard that the best things in life are free, well, that clearly hasn’t been the case,” Biden observed. “Almost everything people want costs money. And a lot of people just don’t have enough money to fully partake of this nation’s abundance.” Biden criticized past efforts to try to solve the problem by handing out government benefits to the poor. “No...

U.S. debt had increased by 70% under Obama It is one of the great mysteries. How does Barack Obama continue to generate job approval ratings that say he’s doing a good one? On a recent weekend Rasmussen Reports rated him at 51% while Gallup gave him a 49% rating. At the Pew Research Center, his rating was at 47%, but they noted that at this time in his presidency, George W. Bush had a job approval rating of 33% while Bill Clinton was rated at 63% approval. Of course, Bush and Clinton were President at different times dealing with different...

Israel--and Israel alone--must determine where its secure, recognized and defensible borders are to be located under these American Written Commitments The furore engendered by House Speaker John Boehner inviting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress on March 3—supposedly in breach of Presidential protocol - marks the first step in Congress flexing its muscles to persuade President Obama to re-think his concerted attempts to undermine the written commitments made by President Bush to Israel’s then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in his letter dated 14 April 2004 - as overwhelmingly endorsed by the House of Representatives 407-9 on 23 June...

If the truth doesn’t get its pants on, and get them on, on the double, Obama will have have transitioned himself from American president to Uncrowned King of the World Intuitive Winston Churchill’s warning: “A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on” can now be taken literally. The lies of President Barack Obama’s have reached all the way over to Israel and are still traveling with the truth yet to get its pants on. Related: Obama claimed that neither he nor his Secretary of State John Kerry can meet with...

As we know, one of President Obama’s campaign pledges, along with a re-distribution of wealth and the “skyrocketing” of energy costs, was the closing of the Terrorist Detention and Recreation facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Many schemes were proposed; moving the POWs to a stateside facility, having them tried in US courts instead of the appropriate military tribunals, etc. etc. But in an amazing show of courage, Congress would not go along and an Executive Order seemed a bit over the top, even for this president, so Guantanamo remains operational. What to do? If the facility couldn’t be closed, at...

There are few things that frustrate President Obama more than not having his way. He can play endless rounds of bad golf, repeatedly circle the globe on the American taxpayer’s dime, treat Congress like Walter White behind the pharmacy counter at Walgreens, and generally goof off and demean the office in new and unpleasant ways. But he can’t seem to get his arms around Benjamin Netanyahu and the intractable Middle East problem. And this vexes him to no end. When Barack Hussein Obama first took office, he believed that he would be the first “fusion” president, one who can bridge...

It’s pretty embarrassing when the on-line comments about an article are more logical and knowledgeable than the article. Such is the case with a Wall Street Journal op-ed last week that argued Muslim violence does not reflect traditional Islamic doctrine, but is merely a case of arrested historical development. The whole argument is a tissue of logical fallacies and historical ignorance. The author, a professor of history at Harvard, starts by explaining that Christianity was once violent and intolerant, but changed over time, and thus can provide an example for “modernizing Islam.” But most of his catalogue of Christian violence...

Obama Inc. Violates Israeli Sovereignty/Agreements: Arms/Trains PA/Hamas Jihadis For US Consulate In Jerusalem! Why? Commentary By Adina Kutnicki (Let us call Barack HUSSEIN Obama by his appropriate name: “Allah’s Muslim Terrorist”!) TO assert that America’s fate is intertwined with Israel’s is hardly an overstatement, nor is it hyperbole. Both are the twin pillars for western civilization. Therefore, it stands to reason that arming and training PA/Hamas aligned “guards” to serve the US Consulate General in Jerusalem is tantamount to stabbing Israel in the back. Literally. Not only that, doing so VIOLATES signed agreements from 2011, as indicated below! SO let...

“American Sniper” star Bradley Cooper on Working with Director Clint EastwoodClassically good-looking, very blue-eyed Bradley Cooper has been popping up in movies for almost a decade and a half. You’ll recognize a young Cooper playing Ben in 2001’s Wet Hot American Summer, then there were TV movies, TV series and lead part in the Midnight Meat Train. Yeah, you read the title right, and no, you don’t ever have to see that film. Note: It’s on a marquee of a cinema Cooper walks by in Silver Linings Playbook. Speaking of which he was Oscar nominated, Cooper has really been more...
