Bo (woof) In Commentary: Much like our owners, we don’t have much input in selecting our names. At least we’re getting closer to being named as if we were a member of the larger family than in days gone by. I can’t complain about my name, but my sister may have a beef since I haven’t heard of many kids named Copper. Here’s an article on trends in dog names based on surveying owners in the bay area of SanFrancisco. (They’re not just Fluffy, Rover and Fido anymore. As dog and cat ownership has expanded to nearly 2 out of...

I have posted a video statement on YouTube in the event anything should happen to me, it is clear that Police are to investigate as a homicide. I do believe from all my heart that the increased threats being made against me must be taken seriously. "Hello, I am Larry Sinclair… On Jan 18, 2008 I posted a video on You tube, in which I stated that on 2 separate occasions, in November 1999, I performed oral sex on Barack Obama, and that while I snorted cocaine, Barack Obama smoked crack cocaine; since the release of that video I have...

How many times have you been at the supermarket and seen some outrageously HIGH price for some produce? I see this all the time so am I somehow forced to buy it? Of course not. In fact, it is VERY EASY to bargain shop for produce. Possibly easier than for any other type of product. However, when a DUmmie sees a cantelope selling for an $3.89 each, he helplessly bemoans his fate as you can see in this THREAD with the pitiful title of "Cantelope $3.89 a piece? F*ck, we'll be carrying sacks on a stick and begging at...

The time has come for America to make a choice. The arch enemy of Socialism is Individual Rights. The 08 election has become a referendum that will determine which path America will take. As the primary issues are presented IE immigration, economy or the wars that are currently taking place, everyone wants to discuss the stance each candidate will take. The media will parse the words and regurgitate them in light of “how” the candidate has either voted or expressed himself on related issues. They might draw a line indicating that on “XYZ” issue the candidate is conservative or liberal...

Senator Obama is running as a biography/character candidate, not as a candidate of accomplishment because he has accomplished little except obtaining office. As a biography/character candidate the four corners of that biography that illuminate Obama's character --Michelle Obama, Pastor Jeremiah Wright, the unrepentant terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, and Obama's mentor, financier, friend and neighbor Tony Rezko-- are all extremely relevant to the debates of the next six months, and we need to know much more about each corner of the square within which Obama has moved.

This is why the Obamarama is so disheartening. When a Black REP comes down the pike he or she is demeaned by the very liberals who scream for equality and equal representation for all. Or worse, they are painted with the sell out or “Uncle Tom” (thanks Spike Lee) brush. I was still in college during the shameless Clarence Thomas hearings but even then (in my more liberal leaning days) I saw them for the “modern day lynching” that they were. People think it funny that Lt. Gov. Michael Steele has to dodge Oreo cookies hurled his way at debates....

MoveOn.org sponsored a contest for the best 30-second pro-Barack Obama TV commercial. The winner, according to the Associated Press's article, "MoveOn ad features pro-Obama Republican," was an ad starring Air Force veteran John Weiler. The spot includes Mr. Weiler, whose military service is to be commended, saying "I've been a Republican since before I could actually vote." Not only that: "I'm a lifelong Republican and I'm voting for Barack Obama." I don't know if Mr. Weiler is a lifelong Republican as he claims. I do know that if the Associated Press is accurate in its reporting, he must have been...

Back in Februrary Barack Obama gave a speech about race that some called his Lincoln Moment. At the time,I called it Obama's "I am not a crook" moment since it was more than anything else, an attempt to deflect attention from his 17 year relationship with Wright and to seek political absolution for his failure to disassociate himself with Wright's racially inflammatory and divisive views. Of course Obama eventually did cut his ties to Wright. The candidate who has campaigned as the one with the judgement to be ready on day one, cut his ties to Wright but it took...

I want . . Freedom of the press to be the right not to be lied to. You are confused. So very seriously confused about the First Amendment, that you are not thinking any more clearly about it than I was before the mid-1990s, when I began to see through the system by which the "journalistic objectivity" con is perpetrated. And since I was already in my fifties by then, I have every reason to understand how you might see things the way you do. Freedom of the press is much more like "the right to lie to you"...

According to Jury convicts wife of forging checks while her husband was serving in Iraq (Minneapolis Star Tribune, 5/2/08): "Dana M. Kieser deceived and defrauded her husband when he was at his most vulnerable, serving in Iraq with the Minnesota National Guard, a Ramsey County jury heard Friday. "She closed out John Kieser's retirement and college-savings accounts, forged his name on two checks totaling almost $25,000, bought a home in Fargo, N.D., and sold their home in Maplewood -- all without his knowledge or consent, prosecutor Laura Rosenthal said. "Dana Kieser showed little emotion when the verdicts were read. John...

The controversial deal orchestrated by the Federal Reserve that pushed Bear Stearns into the hands of JPMorgan Chase, at the height of the sub-prime crisis, will turn into billions of dollars in gains for for JPMorgan Chase. Ron Paul’s The Revolution: A Manifesto is an important book. That’s not so much because of the ideas he presents, which are for the most part familiar fare, already addressed at greater length in recent popular treatments of libertarianism by Charles Murray, David Boaz, and James Bovard, among many others. It’s important because Ron Paul’s candidacy has interested a lot of people in libertarian ideas who probably haven’t read those other books, and because their exposure has come not in the context of academic dissatisfaction with the status quo, but in the context of political action. The book benefits from...

“I don't want to sound like an ad, a public service ad on TV, but the fact is if you can read, you can walk into a job later on. If you don't, then you've got, the Army, Iraq, I don't know, something like that. It's, it's not as bright. So, that's my little commercial for that.” - Stephen King If you want a true window into someone’s soul, listen carefully to the words coming out of their mouths. Especially the words they offer when they are wallowing in their own inflated self-image and sense of importance.I have contributed...

McCain isn’t a Maverick? What a surprise … Senator McCain’s record has proven that time and time again, he’s a conservative when his party needs him. A May 7th Arizona Republic article revealed that since 1999, McCain has cast the deciding vote in Congress on major issues in favor of the Republican Party 14 times. By comparison, during this time period McCain’s only sided with the Democratic Party four times. ...It’s evident that despite allegations that McCain fights against the Republican Party, he isn’t a “maverick” after all.
