Sarah Palin made an appearance on The O’Reilly Factor last night to test her mettle on one of the biggest issues in the political sphere today: illegal immigrants. Bill O’Reilly grilled her on specifics to finding a solution to the problem and, in her responses, Palin made it very clear that immigration may be the one substantive issue around which she has a tight grip. Palin was adamant that illegal immigrants should not be “rewarded the bad behavior” and continued along in this vein until O’Reilly stopped her, in a very similar manner to how he stopped Univisión anchor Jorge...

On CNN’s ‘Reliable Sources,’ Rolling Stone’s Michael Hastings responds to Bill O’Reilly calling him a ‘far-left critic.’ O’Reilly brought to light Hastings’ criticism of Republicans, including his calling Rudy Giuliani a “maniac.” Hastings said, “If Bill O’Reilly is calling you a ‘far-left critic,’ in my book no matter what your political persuasion is, that probably means you’re doing a good job.”

On the O’Reilly Factor, Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly debate the significance of Obama’s “kick ass” comment. Beck told O’Reilly he thinks Obama was speaking to the radical progressives like Van Jones when he made the comment, not the American people. O'Reilly does not really think there is any real significance to what Obama said.

TIME's Mark Halperin implies the Drudge Report is racist for running the headline "Obama Goes Street: Seeking 'Ass To Kick.'" "You know Matt Drudge ... Matt Drudge knew exactly what he was doing with that headline," Halperin said on FOX News' "O'Reilly Factor." "He thought it was cool and hip, but he knew full well that it was provocative and racial ... he knows how to tap into the sentiment of his readers," Halperin added. O'Reilly wasn't buying that criticism of President Obama is based on his skin color.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 37% of voters nationwide favor a national sales tax if the money is used to pay for health care for all Americans, but 51% oppose that idea. These findings are unchanged from December. Take health care out of the equation, however, and opposition to a national sales tax on all goods and services is higher.
