The US says it has identified the remains of a World War Two tank commander who was killed fighting in Germany in November 1944. Lt Gene F Walker was battling Nazi forces near the German-Belgian border when his M4 Sherman was struck by an anti-tank round. Two Swedish football fans have been shot dead in central Brussels by a gunman who allegedly claimed to be an ISIS member. Media reports aired amateur videos showing a man shooting several times near a station using a large weapon. Euthanasia is to be extended to primary school-age children in the Netherlands, the Dutch government has announced. Health Minister Ernst Kuipers said that children aged five to 12 years can obtain lethal injections if “life termination is the only viable option to end the child’s hopeless and unbearable suffering”.
