The Iraqi Intelligence Service was stumped too, so it went to the Special Security Service . The Special Security Service couldn't solve it either, so they asked Baddad Bob. He suggested turning it upside down ...

"My feelings - as usual - we will slaughter them all" "Our initial assessment is that they will all die" "I blame Al-Jazeera - they are marketing for the Americans!" "God will roast their stomachs in hell at the hands of Iraqis." "We have destroyed 2 tanks, fighter planes, 2 helicopters and their shovels - We have driven them back." WHY WE LOVE M.S.S. This site is a coalition effort of bloodthirsty hawks and ineffectual doves united in admiration for Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, Iraqi Minister of Information (currently on administrative leave). "In an age of spin, al-Sahaf offers feeling and authenticity. His message is consistent -- unshakeable, in fact, no matter the evidence -- but he commands daily attention by his on-the-spot, invective-rich variations on the theme. His lunatic counterfactual art is more appealing than the banal awfulness of the Reliable Sources. He is a Method actor in a production that will close in a couple of days. He stands...

A JOKE circulating in the Arab world last week concerned Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, the missing Iraqi information minister whose vain boasts of glorious victories against the American infidels proved tragically wide of the mark. When Sahaf dies they send him 63 angels, the joke begins. Three ask the usual questions about how he had behaved while alive. The other 60 are needed to stop him denying he is dead. Sahaf’s antics apart, the demolition of the Iraqi regime is proving no laughing matter for governments across the region. From the Gulf to the Mediterranean, the collapse of Saddam Hussein’s rule...

The US military has issued a most-wanted list of 55 former leaders in Saddam Hussein's regime to be pursued, captured or killed. Archives Write to Mr. Ayaz Amir Some liberation By Ayaz Amir In victory's wake comes a bandwagon effect, gilding the arms of the winners and tarnishing the cause of the losers. Bystanders not wishing to be seen on the wrong side of the argument are tempted to climb this bandwagon. They try to convince themselves that they always knew events would turn out like this. This is happening now in Iraq. The entry of American troops into Baghdad and the collapse of the Saddam regime are drowning questions about the nature of this war, the purposes behind it and...
