PELHAM, NH (FOX 25 , myfoxboston) - Pelham Police arrested and charged a female Pelham school employee with three counts of sexual assault. The woman is identified as Manuella St. Germain, 44, of Pelham, New Hampshire. St. Germain is a paraprofessional for a Pelham Middle School has been placed on leave by the school district. Pelham Police Detectives received a complaint from the Division for Children Youth and Families that alleged two male juveniles had been sexually assaulted. LUCAS, Kansas – A Lucas-Luray High School teacher has been charged for allegedly having sex with one of her students. Nina Urban faces a charge of unlawful sexual relations. She was arrested last month after authorities investigated a claim that she was having a sexual relationship with a male student. Since then, the district has put her on administrative leave. Urban is set to be arraigned Thursday.

HOUSTON -- A second charge of sexual abuse of a child was levied against a Spring ISD high school teacher after officials say a second student relationship came to light after the first was revealed. Westfield High School teacher Shannon Hrozek, 42, made her first appearance Thursday after she was charged with sexual abuse of a child in January. The teacher guilty of having sex with a student at Brighton Collegiate High School is in jail for violating terms of her probation — namely having sex with another parolee and testing positive for alcohol consumption. Carrie McCandless began serving a 30-day jail sentence at the Larimer County Detention Center Friday after voluntarily turning herself in to Weld County Probation officials. RAINIER, Wash. -- A Rainier teacher's assistant faced a judge Monday on drug and sex abuse charges. Jan Gleaves sexually abused teen boys and served them alcohol and marijuana at her apartment, Columbia County officials said. They began investigating the case in December when a Rainier mother said she found some posts from Gleaves on her son's MySpace page. Gleaves was a teaching assistant in the St. Helens School District. Officials don’t think the allegations involve any kids from the school district where she worked.

An Alameda County judge granted the wish of 47,000 high school seniors Friday after abolishing the exit exam as a graduation requirement this year. Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman ruled that students who earn enough credits may receive a diploma, regardless of their performance on the test. State Superintendent of Schools Jack O'Connell is expected to appeal the injunction immediately.
