This is my first post at Freepers. (so if I'm doing it wrong, I'm sure several thousand of you will tell me so, LOL) Where is all of the Left's Astro Turf money going, since they quit funding the Anti-War protestors? Where have the professional hacks gone? Code Pink, ANSWER, and even ELF and the likes of them? Were they just told to 'shut up and sit down' by Soros after the current Administration took over the wars? As usual, not a peep from the MSM, to include FOX on this.

U.S. out of Africa!” echoed throughout San Francisco’s major intersection at Powell and Market as more than 125 activists and supporters gathered to demand an end to the U.S./NATO bombing of Libya and call for the money spent on war to instead provide for people’s needs. The demonstration was sponsored by the ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism). While participants picketed, a number of people spoke. A common thread throughout the speeches was that the U.S. government claim of “humanitarian intervention” is a lie. Antoinette Marquez, an elementary school teacher and member of...

Enrico Fermi’s paradox has occupied us more than occasionally in these pages, and for good reason. ‘Where are they,’ asked Fermi, acknowledging an obvious fact: Even if it takes one or two million years for a civilization to develop and use interstellar travel, that is but a blip in terms of the 13.7 billion year age of the universe. Von Neumann probes designed to study other stellar systems and reproduce, moving outward in an ever expanding wave of exploration, could easily have spread across the galaxy long before our ancestors thought of building the pyramids. Where are they indeed. Kelvin...

The explosion and spill from a BP deepwater drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico has generated justifiable anger across the nation and especially in the affected coastal region. It's also generated popular backlash, one manifestation of which is an increasingly loud call for confiscating company assets. The front line of this campaign is an ad hoc group, "Seize BP," which organized anti-BP rallies in cities across America last week. The group's mission is as simple as its name: Persuade the Obama administration to seize assets of the British-based oil company and use the proceeds for compensating victims and family...

And the former labour secretary Robert Reich, who served under President Clinton, wants BP's American operations to be taken into temporary government receivership . . . From the Gathering of Eagles, comes this "response to a Blog Radio interview with Adam Kokesh" "We often hear from the leftist anti-military groups that their demonstrations and activities are intended to help and support our troops. However, our veterans and their families often report that these activities have a very negative effect on them. An example of these negative effects was apparent on the April 22, 2010 Chandler’s Watch Radio Blogshow in which Adam Kokesh was interviewed.""Mr. Kokesh is a member of the Iraq Veterans Against War (IVAW), and he has an extensive history of engaging in anti-military activities in alliance...

We've heard about Dick Cheney vs. Rand Paul, now let's introduce you to Michelle Malkin vs. Adam Kokesh, the anti-war, pro-Tea Party candidate for Congress in New Mexico. Former Reason intern Jeremy Lott has some details, over at The Guardian: Malkin wrote that the organisation that Kokesh is part of, Iraq Veterans Against the War, had a membership that included "bomb-threat bullies and death-threat nutballs who threatened to assassinate me," as well as "fake army vet Jesse MacBeth". She charged that Kokesh was "arrested for defacing signs and travelled to Germany to urge soldiers to abandon their posts … He...
