Former USDA official Shirley Sherrod, who claims she was falsely smeared as a racist while she herself falsely smears Republicans and Fox News as racists, said this morning that she would like to see BigGovernment.com, the website that made her famous, shut down for the good of the country.
CNN's American Morning reported on Sherrod's demand:
She said if Breitbart's site were shut down, "That would be a great thing, because I don't see how that advances us in this country ... at a time when we should be trying to look at how we can make space for all of us in this country, so that we can all live and work together, he's doing more to divide us."
Sherrod also told CNN she is considering suing Andrew Breitbart, the owner of Big Government:
"I really think I should. You know, I don't know a lot about the legal profession, but that's one person I'd like to get back at. Because he came at me. You know, he didn't go after the NAACP. He came at me."
Yesterday, in an interview with the Democrat front group Media Matters, Sherrod smeared Fox News as wanting to take blacks back to the Jim Crow era:
... they would love to take us back to where we were many years ago. Back to where black people were looking down, not looking white folks in the face, not being able to compete for a job out there and not be a whole person."
In the same speech given in March to the NAACP that initially got Sherrod fired by the Obama administration, Sherrod smeared Republicans as racists for opposing Barack Obama's government takeover of healthcare:
"Some of the racism we thought was buried, didn't it surface? Now we endured eight years of the Bushes, and we didn't do the stuff these Republicans are doing because you have a black president."
Sherrod is being annointed as a saint by the media for her claim to have overcome her own racism. She is even being compared to Nelson Mandela. Yet to this day she speaks in starkly racist terms of "my people" and "his own kind" while flinging the race card as skillfully as Jesse Jackson at her perceived political opponents.
She also has revealed a leftist totalitarian streak. It's no wonder the communists from ANSWER and Code Pink were out supporting her yesterday:
She does well when she sues, doesnt she? Where is Breirbart now?
Typical bureaucrat’s reaction. Don’t like someone? Use the (unlimited) power of government to punish him.
The right better grow a set and learn how to fight. This is getting beyond ridiculous.
At first I hated her; then I liked her; now I hate her again and that’s the way I’ll stay.
Of course she wants it shut down, leftists hate Truth.
Ths woman has exceeded her 15 minutes of fame. She needs to fade back into obscurity but the left will not let her...
Keep talking Shirley.
hmmmmmm...why is Media allowed to carry a real pitchfork to a protest in DC? I thought that was against the DC protest rules?
Got those professional made signs in a hurry!!!
Well coordinated and planned in advance?
Hummmmmm
No. Keep her UNEMPLOYED for the good of the country!
Not taking her side but when she sues for discrimination and the name Lester Maddox is involved it would be a hard case to lose.
Start calling her Shirley Sue.
Gee, that’s funny, I didn’t see Breitbart say one single word about Shirly. Fox didn’t either. They showed a video, they didn’t fire her.
Just wow. She fits in real well with the d-bags at Journolist who want the gubmint to shut down Fox News.
I imagine she - like that Spitz woman - would also enjoy laughing “loudly like a maniac and watch his eyes bug out” as Limbaugh writhed in torment”.
Sure is a lot of this (’shut down what I don’t want other people to know’) going around lately. Seems to be the liberals’ way—if you can’t come up with a legitimate argument against an opponent, silence them. Sounds just like Communist Russia...
So she’s a racist AND a bigot!
A fascist and a racist. What a disgusting person indeed.
Of course, the left has never slandered someone with an out-of-context quote.
