From the Gathering of Eagles, comes this "response to a Blog Radio interview with Adam Kokesh"
"We often hear from the leftist anti-military groups that their demonstrations and activities are intended to help and support our troops. However, our veterans and their families often report that these activities have a very negative effect on them. An example of these negative effects was apparent on the April 22, 2010 Chandlers Watch Radio Blogshow in which Adam Kokesh was interviewed."
"Mr. Kokesh is a member of the Iraq Veterans Against War (IVAW), and he has an extensive history of engaging in anti-military activities in alliance with groups such as Code Pink and MoveOn.org. Currently, he is running for US Congress New Mexico 3rd CD as a self-declared Conservative Republican. He was recruited and endorsed by the Ron Paul Liberty Candidate group."
"Mr. Kokesh was invited as a guest to discuss his anti-military activities and the impact of those activities on his current campaign for US Congress. A Marine who is opposed to the Kokesh candidacy hosts Chandlers Watch, and Mr. Kokesh understood that he would be facing some tough questioning from both the host and the callers."

_____________
I know all too well the impact groups like the Answer Coalition and the Westboro Church, have on military families. That goes for the other radical anti-military types, as well.
I witnesses militants like these at a counter rally I attended back in March of 2007 with the Gathering of Eagles, made up of mostly Vietnam Veterans and their family members.
How could scenes like this have anything BUT a negative effect?
Jihad Jane (formerly known as Hanoi Jane)
I can’t imagine patriotic Americans caring what these anti-military morons have to say.
Ping to you.
Ron Paul endorsed this POS that hangs out with Code Pink and ANSWER? Any respect that I had for Paul (economic issues) is now down the toilet.
None of them is more anti military than Ron Paul has been, yet look at the flocks of Paultards on this forum.
NM Ping.
Nope. I’ve told this story once here..My cousin who serves at the Sokor DMZ came home years ago and while waiting for the shuttle at Georgia got an earful from this treehugger moron who gave him a lecture about Bush.
The last thing a soldier wants to hear in civilian settings is a lecture from an moonbat. The lib did something that pissed him off and he clobbered him. Cops came along etc.
Later when asked what happened, his response was ‘I dont mind his empty talk, but once he SPIT on my shoes, that was the final straw. I spent an hour shining my shoes.” :)
The lefties realize they can’t spit on the troops like they did in airports when the soldiers came back from Vietnam...so they try to turn the troops into “victims”.
