    I read the advertisement in the Union-Tribune for the annual Miramar Air Show Oct. 14, 15 and 16, and my jaw dropped in disbelief. I just don't understand how the Blue Angels can justify fueling and flying these jets in their annual celebration given President Bush's plea to Americans to cut back on fuel usage. Surely there is something better that can be done with our military manpower other than a boastful display of flying skills, like perhaps airlifting supplies and materials to aid the victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
