In 2005, Travis Newman was archery hunting in Washington state. He had drawn an archery elk tag for the Blue Mountains near Walla Walla. Late in the evening of the 20th of September, he was on a familiar elk trail. As he approached a corner, he thought: “I don’t remember seeing that stump before.” The “stump” was close, about 10 yards. The “stump” transformed itself into a big bear coming at him full bore, furiously chomping its jaws. Travis thought the bear would bluff, took a step back, and speed drew his Taurus Tracker .45 Colt from a cross-body holster...

As President Joe Biden continues his refusal to retract false allegations of white supremacy against Kyle Rittenhouse, President Donald Trump is stepping in to do the right thing. Trump invited Rittenhouse to Mar-a-Lago this week after a jury found he acted in self-defense against a band of criminal adults in Kenosha last year. Trump discussed the visit with Fox News host Sean Hannity Tuesday night. "Kyle I got to know him a little bit...really a nice young man and what he went through, that was prosecutorial misconduct. He should not have had to suffer through a trial for that. He...

@RedEaglePatriot 5 years ago today, an outsider businessman took the world by storm, and shocked the political elite as he rode a wave of angry anti-globalization sentiment to improbable victory. It gave us all a glimmer of hope, that we one day may actually be able to take our country back.

It is official. The revolver fired by Baldwin that killed Halyna Hutchins and wounded Joel Souza is a F.lli Pietta 45 Long Colt Revolver. Take a look at the video of how it operates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z41jSoKWhZ8It is a single action revolver. That means you have to cock it manually in order to fire it each time. There is no way to fire it accidentally. You have to cock the hammer and then put your finger on the trigger. (The gun, if loaded, can be fired if you hit the hammer with a club of some sort, but that also is a...

On June 21, 2021, a bull moose repeatedly charged an Idaho backpacker and his dog, who had set up camp at Harrison Lake, a pristine wilderness site, about a 4.6 mile hike from the trailhead. From a distance, it looked like some garbage had blown into Neal Andrus’ corral on County Line Road in Jefferson County on a recent afternoon. When Andrus went to retrieve it, he found it wasn’t garbage at all but a large, black hog sleeping in the sun. It didn’t look like any domestic hog he’d ever seen. “Every indication told me it was a feral hog with its long snout, short tusks and course hair that stood up all along its back,” Andrus said. Andrus’ approach startled the hog, which darted past him and into an irrigation canal and across...

House Democrats probably won’t answer President Trump’s prayers on impeachment, but Father Frank Pavone did. Father Pavone, a Roman Catholic who is national director of Priests for Life, responded Wednesday to the president’s call for prayers over his impeachment. “President Trump just asked for prayers!” he said on his Twitter account. “Let’s storm heaven against the evil that surrounds him. I pray he will have the courage to continue to fight for the Lives of the unborn!” Earlier, Mr. Trump began the day of his impeachment on Wednesday by asking the nation to pray. “Can you believe that I will...

Gregg and dog On Thursday night, 7 November, 2019 a little after 11 p.m., at the Motel 6 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Greg Sapp was on the walkway outside of his and his wife, Viki's motel room on the second floor. He was getting a smoke. He did not know he would be emptying his Kimber .45 into a charging black bear within seconds. Link to video He was facing outward from the motel. Room 240 has one wall in common with the outside of the motel, with another in common with the breezeway that connects to the rooms on...

The College Republican Federation of Puerto Rico is raising money for a bronze statue of President Donald Trump which would be placed in front of the capitol building in San Juan, along the “Walkway of the Presidents.” The walkway currently features the statues of nine American presidents who have made official visits to the U.S. Caribbean territory. Melvin Soto Vazquez, the vice president of the federation, spoke with The Daily Caller’s Stephanie Hamill to discuss the effort. Chicago police late Friday released two Lakeview men who had been questioned for two days as “potential persons of interest” and, later, “potential suspects” in the alleged hate crime attack of Empire TV star Jussie Smollett early on Jan. 29 in Streeterville. “Due to new evidence as a result of today's interrogations” Abimbola "Abel" Osundairo and his brother Olabinjo "Ola" Osundairo were released, said Anthony Guglielmi, the top spokesperson for Chicago police. “Detectives have additional investigative work to complete.” The Osundiros are no longer considered suspects by investigators, whose full attention is now focused squarely on Smollett, according to well-established...

There was a great deal of news this past week about President Trump’s audacious disregard for the advice and warnings from his own intelligence community experts. Perhaps there’s good reason for alarm. But I think there’s one shocking aspect — perhaps a larger story — that’s gone virtually unreported. It appears that anonymous intelligence officials are executing an operation against the sitting commander in chief. It might not qualify as all-out mutiny, but it’s also not all that far from one. Right under our noses, while still under investigation for allegedly orchestrating leaks and undermining candidate Trump in 2016, some...
