Brazil’s Federal Police (PF) acted to fulfill 46 search and seizure warrants and one arrest warrant on Monday against people suspected of financing the January 8, 2023, Brasilia riot. That day, thousands of supporters of conservative former President Jair Bolsonaro flocked to the heart of Brasilia – home to the nation’s Congress, Supreme Court, and presidential office – to protest against the election of socialist President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Lula defeated Bolsonaro and began his third presidential term on January 1, 2023. The protest turned into a riot after the protesters stormed the premises of Brazil’s Congress, Supreme...

Utah prosecutors have charged a former county clerk with three felonies and other counts for allegedly shredding and otherwise mishandling ballots from the 2020 and 2022 elections. The alleged misdeeds involved ballots cast by about 5,000 voters in Juab County, a desert area of west-central Utah with about 12,000 residents. Former Juab County Clerk/Auditor Alaina Lofgran is accused of allowing ballots to be shredded soon after the 2022 election in violation of a law requiring their preservation for at least 22 months. The law is for aiding recounts. Lofgran also improperly stored ballots from the 2020 election, keeping them in...

Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson has released preliminary findings from the state’s audit of Harris County’s November 2022 election. “Harris County clearly had multiple failures conducting the election and violated election law for estimating needed ballot paper,” said Secretary Nelson. “Mistakes like these led to a poorly executed election which left many Harris County residents frustrated and may have prevented them from voting. It is important to talk about these issues now in order to address them before the 2024 election cycle.” Nelson said the findings show problems with voter registration data, failure to provide necessary supplies to polling...

Following the embarrassment that was the 2022 election, in which Republicans managed to severely underperform despite having all the fundamentals in their favor, I asked one simple question: Are you tired of losing yet? Advertisement Ironically, some accused me of being too conservative when I predicted the GOP only getting to 235 seats in the House. Now, the Republican Party might end up with a majority far less than that. The Senate is pretty much a wasteland as well, with Mehmet Oz, despite a strong push down the stretch, not being able to overcome his unfavorables in Pennsylvania. Don Bolduc...

Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke won praise last year after he pledged to return a massive campaign contribution from Sam Bankman-Fried, the disgraced cryptocurrency kingpin charged with defrauding customers out of billions of dollars. But campaign finance records show the failed political candidate has not lived up to that promise nearly eight months later. O'Rourke has kept $100,000 that Bankman-Fried donated to O'Rourke's failed gubernatorial campaign, according to campaign finance disclosures released this week. A spokesman for O'Rourke said in November that the campaign had returned an "unsolicited" $1 million donation from Bankman-Fried just before the Nov. 8 election. O'Rourke received...

The victor of the 2024 election is set to face a number of new legislative deadlines immediately upon entering office that could have drastic effects on the country’s economy. More than a dozen candidates are eyeing the Oval Office in 2024, positioning themselves as the best choice to address the nation’s cultural and economic challenges. However, upon taking office in 2024, the winner of the presidential election must deal with the impending expirations of both the 2017 tax law as well as subsidies included in Obamacare. On top of that, the debt limit bill is also set to expire just...

The former head of President Joe Biden’s defunct Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board found a new gig by registering as a foreign agent to fight so-called “disinformation." Former DGB Executive Director Nina Jankowicz said in a Nov. 18 “foreign agents” filing with the Department of Justice that she would be hired as a “disinformation expert” with the U.K.-based Centre for Information Resilience. Jankowicz’ role involves acting as an “ambassador for CIR on the Hill, within the Federal Government, media, among tech companies / Silicon Valley, on ‘K Street’, and among potential philanthropic organisations.” It appears the self-proclaimed “Mary Poppins of disinformation”...

[about 75% of the way down the web page] [allegations] on February 13, 2023, the U.S. House Committee on Armed Services and U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability disclosed the Air Force had improperly revealed the unredacted records of at least 11 Republican congressional candidates, who are Air Force veterans, to the research firm Due Diligence Group. The Due Diligence Group is a vendor for Democratic Party campaign committees. “The USAF leaked information of USAF candidates in the 2022 midterms to a DEMOCRAT OPPO research firm,” Luna tweeted on February 27, 2023. “Yes, I also have reason to believe...

As Kari Lake's lawsuit returns to the trial court for consideration of alleged violations of Maricopa County's signature verification rules in the Arizona 2022 general election, a retired FBI counterintelligence agent with longtime expertise in signature analysis says that matching ballot signatures with little time to review is "almost illegal." If election workers have a limited amount of time to review signatures on early ballots to ensure they match with voters' files, it's "almost illegal to have it work that way," said retired FBI Special Agent Wayne A. Barnes, adding, "almost pathetic." Barnes, a 29-year FBI veteran who mastered signature...

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp certified the fraudulent and uncertifiable 2020 Election in Georgia. Then after doing that he somehow pulled off a 2022 primary win. Now he wants to create a new GOP Party that will eliminate permanently anyone threatening the Good Old Boys in the party. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp certified the 2020 Election in the state that was uncertifiable. Hundreds of thousands of ballots showed up after election day in 2020, giving Joe Biden the lead three days after the election by 12,000 votes. Kemp certified these results, no questions asked. At that moment Americans learned that Georgia,...

With Kari Lake's legal complaint alleging systematic signature verification failures in Maricopa County remanded by the Arizona Supreme Court to trial court, closer examination of the signature verification software used by the county reveals a strikingly low threshold for signatures to qualify as "high-confidence" matches. Since falling about 17,000 votes short in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election to Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs, Lake has continued to contest the election results in court, arguing that there were ballot chain of custody and signature verification issues in addition to thousands of Republican voters disproportionately disenfranchised on Election Day, when voting machine errors...

Beginning Monday, America will finally get a look at hidden January 6 footage in an exposé airing on Tucker Carlson Tonight on the Fox News network. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy gave Carlson access to far more than the 14,000 hours of video the Feds said existed. That was the story they told defendants who were awaiting trial on charges from “parading” to trespassing to interrupting Congress and “seditious conspiracy,” and who wanted the video footage that could exonerate them. But it turns out that there was a far greater amount of video — 44,000 hours — that the Department of...

Socialist convicted felon Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the current president of Brazil, removed that country this week from the list of signatories to the Geneva Consensus Declaration, a global document originally signed by 32 countries opposing abortion as a form of family planning and affirming the inherent “dignity and worth” of human life. Brazil signed the American-led declaration in 2020 under conservative, pro-life President Jair Bolsonaro, who lost to Lula in a bitterly contested presidential race last year. Lula, the Ministry of Health confirmed last week, also revoked an ordinance passed under Bolsonaro that required health workers to report...

After flooding local election offices with private money to alter election operations in key battleground states ahead of the 2020 presidential contest, Democrat-aligned groups have been looking for new ways to take over America’s future elections — and a new bombshell report reveals just how they plan to do it. Released by the Honest Elections Project (HEP) and the John Locke Foundation, the shocking report reveals how the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence — a self-professed “nonpartisan collaborative” claiming to bring together election officials for the stated goal of developing “a set of shared standards and values” — is actually...

WASHINGTON — The White House refused to answer key questions about classified documents found at President Joe Biden's former private office, citing an ongoing Justice Department review of the matter. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, fielding a barrage of questions on the topic for the first time Wednesday, would not disclose when Biden learned about the existence of the documents. She also declined to say why the White House did not announce the discovery publicly when Biden's personal attorneys found the materials Nov. 2, days before the midterm election.

Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams‘ campaign owes more than $1 million to vendors following her second failed attempt to win the state’s governorship, according to a new report. Despite raising more than $100 million during her campaign, Ms. Abrams, hailed by many in her party as an organizing and voter-mobilizing star, has left her 180 former campaign staffers in a lurch by cutting off their pay a week after the Nov. 8 election, according to the political news website Axios. “People have told me they have no idea how they’re going to pay their rent in January,” a former staffer told...

Republican Rep.-elect George Santos comes to Congress in January with a degree from Baruch College and stints at Citigroup and Goldman Sachs, according to his campaign biography. But a New York Times investigation revealed Monday that nobody by Santos' name, or a deviation of it, graduated in 2010 from Baruch. Nobody at Citigroup nor Goldman Sachs had a record of Santos working at their offices....

Kari Lake's election case will be going to trial, after attempts to throw it out by Governor elect Katie Hobbs were squashed on Monday. Lake was the Republican nominee for governor in Arizona and has launched legal action to have her defeat overturned or have the election rerun because of problems at polling stations. The two phases that will be moving forward to trial are her chain of custody challenges and intentional malice regarding widespread printer breakdowns - leading to her loss to Democrat Katie Hobbs. She tweeted this evening: 'Our Election Case is going to trial. Katie Hobbs attempt...
