Back in August, we caught Joe Scarborough predicting that President Trump won't seek re-election in 2020. Scarborough stuck to that problematic prognostication this morning in offering an explanation for Nikki Haley's resignation as UN Ambassador. <p>Given the chance this morning to put to rest the question of her Native American ancestry, Elizabeth Warren dodged, bigly.</p> <p>On Fox News Sunday, guest host John Roberts asked Warren whether she’d be willing to take a “spit test” of her DNA. Warren ignored the question, sidestepping instead into a tear-jerker about her “daddy” falling in love with a “beautiful girl,” but that his family “bitterly opposed” the marriage because she was “part Native American.” Eventually, they eloped, claimed Warren.</p>

Elizabeth Warren’s presidential ambitions could be crushed if Oprah ran for president. Who wants a whiny Warren when you could have an optimistic Oprah? And the addition of Oprah would also significantly dilute the women’s vote that Warren would be counting on. But in the current atmosphere, Warren couldn’t very well criticize Oprah when Alisyn Camerota asked her on CNN this morning to comment a possible President Winfrey. So Warren put on a happy face, gushing about Oprah’s Golden Globes speech, calling her “inspiring” and lauding Oprah’s “leadership.” But then Camerota asked whether America is hungry “for another mega-celebrity billionaire?”...

Halloween is over, but Hillary is still out there scaring America. Appearing on Trevor Noah’s show last night, Hillary told Noah, “I’m still ready” to be president. Her line came in response to a blooper roll Noah ran in which a number of people, including Sean Hannity, mistakenly alluded to Hillary as president. Put this one in your political time capsule. On her MSNBC show this morning, Joy Reid played a clip of her recently asking Elizabeth Warren if she was “going to run” for president in 2020. Her response is interesting, to say the least. What makes it significant is that Warren did not resort to the classic dodge of saying “I am not running,” a meaningless non-answer for anyone who has not yet thrown his hat into the ring. The question was whether she was “going” to run, and Warren’s “no” would, as a matter of logic, indicate that she has...
