The radical policies of Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and the far-left Democrats, including Tim Walz, have driven the American economy into a tailspin, leaving Michigan families struggling to make ends meet. With inflation in Michigan soaring to 20.50%, families are now facing an additional $1,031 in monthly expenses. Since Comrade Kamala took office, Michiganders have had to shell out $9,819 more on transportation, $4,464 more on energy, $4,020 more on food, and $4,183 more on shelter.
Kamala’s war on energy is also wreaking havoc on Michigan’s auto industry. Stellantis and Ford Motor Co. have closed two major engine plants; Stellantis recently laid off over 2,000 workers at a truck plant in Warren; and General Motors laid off 1,300 workers in Detroit. Kamala’s proposed EV mandate threatens to eliminate at least 25,000 auto jobs in Michigan, devastating lives for a policy that 63% of Michiganders oppose.
These numbers paint a clear picture of the economic challenges Americans are facing today. Under the Harris-Biden administration, the cost of living has spiked, diminishing purchasing power and straining family budgets. From filling up the gas tank to putting food on the table, the burden of rising prices is a reality that Michiganders grapple with daily. It is clear that Kamala's dangerously liberal policies have not delivered the economic stability that Americans need.
Michigan families know who to blame: Harris, Biden, and Democrats. President Donald J. Trump and JD Vance have a proven track record of making this country prosperous and affordable, and Michigan voters have confidence in them to put more money back in their pockets.
