The Massachusetts Republican Party has demanded “transparency” from Gov. Maura Healey’s (D) administration over an alleged “$1 billion in secret migrant crisis spending” by submitting a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request on Tuesday.
Healey has tripled the Bay State’s budget for spending on migrant shelters but is stonewalling requests for an accounting of how she has spent the previous $1 billion on migrant housing, Breitbart News reported in August.
In one case, the Boston Globe revealed that the state shelled out a whopping $16.3 million to rent out a Boston hotel for illegals but did not reveal where the money went after being asked to share the information via a FOIA request that the publication submitted.

I’m surprised to learn that there still is a Mass Republican party. California gets all the attention for being the model progressive state. Many years before CA fell to communist one party rule, Mass was a one party state. It was so bad that Mass immigrants infected the neighboring New England states and ruined them as well. Mass is ground zero for the progressive mind virus destroying America today.
How can 2 people be a problem?
The problem with the Mass GOP and othes like the NYS GOP is that they are totally worthless. Lots of times you can go to their official websites and the most recent post in their “news” tab is 8 months old. There is no real leadership and no real organization.
Demanding transparency from dems….this guy must be a hermit who just wondered into modern society.
In a few days you will start to hear the screaming about immigrant children entering our school systems. These are schools that are dying for teachers and where the budgets are stretched pretty thin.
If you add almost 3 million kids to US schools, there are going to be problems.
14% of immigrants coming here are school aged kids. That’s 2.9 Million kids out of 21 million immigrants. The average cost per student, across the country, is $15,633 per year. (That’s a 2022 figure.). In MA it’s $19,193.
Annually, property taxes will have to cover an additional $4.5 Billion. Per Year! Property Taxes funds the majority of school expenses in the US, not the Feds or the State.
Wait until those numbers start showing up in the quarterly tax bills.
That will make home ownership in good school systems more “exclusive” than ever.
The people who have allowed this to happen are morons.
The government is funding section 8 housing in "good school systems" as we speak, and the local governments are going along with it because, fed money.
Stop saying migrants. They are ILLEGAL ALIENS.
ILLEGAL ALIENS brought,
paid
invited
bussed
flown
shipped
escorted
instructed how to illegally vote democRAT
paid legal defense ...on and on.
PAID BY DEEP STATE OPERATIVES WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS.
