"If I win, I am going to instruct my Attorney General to look into your situation. Because there's never been so many lies, so much deception" "It's awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country " "Because you'd be in Jail!"

Jamiel Shaw Sr. has been fighting the lonely battle against illegal immigration since 2008, when his 17-year-old son, Jamiel Shaw Jr., was gunned down in broad daylight by illegal alien gang members in the sanctuary city of Los Angeles. It was determined at trial that Jamiel Jr., who had no criminal record or ever any history with gangs, was targeted and killed due to the color of his skin. The elder Shaw helped create Jamiel’s Law, a proposed ordinance to deport known illegal alien gang members, and has testified before Congress multiple times on the matter. But after years of...

Efforts to redefine marriage will ultimately, and always, fail, and as in the case of Elton John and David Furnish, will be revealed as folly. As Gamaliel warned the Sanhedrin concerning the Apostles of Jesus, “[I]f their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God. (Acts 5:38b-39)” As liberals work to hold onto their perverse legal redefinition of marriage, they are not merely battling conservatism, but God Himself, and that is always a losing proposition.

Donald Trump is branded with all manner of unflattering labels, but one that hasn’t seemed to much bother him is “climate pariah.” The president-elect is unabashed in his disdain for America’s global warming policy. He has placed a staunch climate-change doubter and antagonist of mainstream science in charge of reshaping — or as Trump has suggested, dismantling — the Environmental Protection Agency. He has talked frequently about reneging on the historic Paris global climate treaty the U.S. took a lead in drafting. And he has said he wants every federal green-energy program eliminated.

We should probably think of this as an exercise in managing our expectations heading into next year’s congressional battles. Two days after the election I posed a question to the Republican Party leadership: we’ve given you control of the entire federal government. Now what will you do with it? The answer will largely depend on what happens in the Senate. Trump can, if he wishes, undo many of Obama’s executive actions with the stroke of a pen and Republicans will largely control what bills come up for a vote in both the House and Senate. But activity in the...

It’s been a wild month for the U.S. coal In reality, new technologies mean coal power can be made cleaner than ever. By the EPA’s own measure, emissions of carbon dioxide and other pollutants released by coal plants have fallen by more than half over the last 40 years. There have been tremendous breakthroughs in clean coal technology, which uses carbon capture and storage (CCS) to remove the vast majority of carbon dioxide from coal power emissions. If this technology were given a genuine chance rather than being written off as a myth, clean energy might not have to mean...

Is there reason to doubt climate change because some of the nation’s hottest days happened in 1898, as President-elect Donald Trump told the New York Times in an interview Tuesday? In an exchange with Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. and staff about climate change on Tuesday (Nov. 22), Trump said, “I have an open mind to it,” but later added, “You know the hottest day ever was in 1890-something, 98. You know, you can make lots of cases for different views.” However, it’s misleading to single out a weather event — such as a particularly hot day in 1898 — as evidence...

While the Democrats reflect and Secretary Hillary Clinton wanders around the wilderness (literally), here are some observations for the establishment of both parties, the #NeverTrumpers, and those still in shock—i.e. the vast majority of Beltway insiders who somehow overlooked "flyover country" and never saw Trump's victory as even a remote possibility. President-elect Donald Trump basically threw out the rule book and almost every bit of conventional wisdom it contained—both about elections in general and himself specifically.

Shotened title. Full title: Exclusive — Ann Coulter Post-Election Review: Media Bias, ‘Fake News,’ and Burning Down the Conservative Establishment Appearing on a special holiday edition of Breitbart News Daily with SiriusXM host Alex Marlow, columnist Ann Coulter talked about how the media got the election wrong, its obsession with de-legitimizing alternative media as “fake news,” and the need to rebuild a conservative Washington establishment that was as wrong-headed as the liberal media in 2016. The author of In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome! said she found the current media obsession with “fake news” amusing, since as she documented in her book, so...

The desperate flailing of a mainstream-media struggling through the five stages of grief continues as no lesser unbiased foundation of the fourth estate than The Washington Post pushes ahead with its "fake news, blame the Russians" narrative for why their candidate failed so miserably. Citing "two teams of independent researchers" (who surely have a substantial libel litigation provision) who found "Russia’s increasingly sophisticated propaganda machinery... echoed and amplified right-wing sites across the Internet as they portrayed Clinton as a criminal," the Jeff Bezos-owned website names Drudge, Zero Hedge, and The Ron Paul Institute and countless other outlets among the "useful...

Analysts argue that Trump won because Hillary didn’t win like Obama did, or something like that. Obama argues that he was a better campaigner than Hillary was. But across the nation, it was clear that many former Democratic voters backed Trump in key areas. Hillary Clinton has been controversial since college, and nominating her certainly did the Democrats no good. Looking back, you can see that she didn’t promote outlandish things while on the stump. She sounded like an old-time Democrat, a God-fearing white pantsuit-wearing smiler of smilers. It’s just, well, America wasn’t fooled.

WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald Trump's proposals would modestly cut income taxes for most middle-class Americans. But for nearly 8 million families — including a majority of single-parent households — the opposite would occur: They'd pay more. Most married couples with three or more children would also pay higher taxes, an analysis by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center found. And while middle-class families as a whole would receive tax cuts of about 2 percent, they'd be dwarfed by the windfalls averaging 13.5 percent for America's richest 1 percent.

‘Fake News’ Isn’t Just a Rightwing Problem The mainstream media is not entirely innocent of the propagation of gossip, rumors, and conspiracy theories. By Ian Tuttle — November 25, 2016 Following Donald Trump’s upset victory earlier this month, the media has suddenly grown deeply troubled about the proliferation of “fake” news — gossip-mongering and fabrication and “news” reports devoid of a factual basis. Naturally, this brings us to Vox.com. On Tuesday, the know-it-all whiz-kids that brought readers the Gaza Bridge published, “Democrats Won the Most Votes in the Election. They Should Act Like It.,” a column by whiz-kid-in-chief Ezra Klein....

The white working class in America is worried about change and afraid of economic decline. The Democrats further stoked those fears. What fueled Trump's improbable victory was a profound sense among working class White voters that the United States is losing control of its borders, its basic identity and its ability to generate good jobs that deliver decent wages to ordinary Americans. Trump engaged with voters on the topic of how global economic forces are changing America. Trump's recognition that this is a major concern for many Americans gave him a powerful message that allowed him to win states that...

But the biggest Trump fans and "Never Trumpers" alike should be concerned about something we haven't yet quite experienced on such a serious scale in American politics, and that is having a President of the United States who's also the owner of dozens of iconic and eponymous businesses. Oh, and so far that incoming president says he intends to continue owning and running them. It's not just that Mr. Trump is a businessperson, it's the fact that he has so many varied and well-known business interests that the potential for conflict of interest is almost infinite. This is a far...

Thursday, November 24, 2016 Being Thankful for the Left Posted by Daniel Greenfield When we celebrate Thanksgiving, after being thankful for family and friends, for health and comfort, for food and shelter; we shouldn't forget to be thankful for the left. There is no light without darkness and without evil, the good often fails to find their own voice. It is in the presence of slavery that we remember the worth of freedom. Men and nations are forged in war; not only the war of shell and shot, but the war of ideas. War teaches us to fight for what...

Rubio spox: Senator looks forward to helping Trump shred Iran deal Senior Obama administration officials in their final days in office are seeking to cover up key details of the Iran nuclear deal from Congress, according to documents and sources who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon about continued efforts by the White House to block formal investigations into secret diplomacy with Tehran that resulted in a $1.7 billion cash payment by the United States. As leading members of Congress petition the Obama administration for answers about what many describe as a $1.7 billion “ransom” payment to Iran, Obama administration...

Donald Trump put fear in the hearts of the left before the election, but since then, his opponents have gone completely off the deep end. They’ve marched through the streets. They’ve destroyed property. They’ve beaten Trump supporters and lashed out at his vice president after he attended a Broadway play. They fear – correctly, it seems, judging from the appointments and other decrees emanating from Trump Tower – that, unlike the current occupant, Trump looks at the presidency as something to do, not something to be. He’s not thinking about having Jay-Z and Beyonce at the White House or which...

President-elect Donald Trump’s policies on illegal immigration, particularly on the border wall and cracking down on sanctuary cities, were at the center of his election campaign. Now, advocates of immigration restriction are hoping for reform to H-1B visas that they say are hurting American workers. The H-1B is a temporary, non-immigrant visa, currently capped at 85,000 visas a year, that allows employers to hire skilled, specialty workers on a temporary basis -- particularly scientists, engineers, or computer programmers. However, critics say that the system is rife with abuse, and is no longer a limited short-term program to help employers with...

Foreign ministers of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras met this week to address concerns about President-elect Trump's plan to deport illegals, mostly those with criminal records. Their goal: Calm the fears of illegals, help them avoid deportation, and keep the flood of money they send home going. Mexico and Guatemala announced plans to expand immigration services at their dozens of offices in the United States.
