Australia is set to become one of the first places to allow psychiatric treatment with psychedelics such as psylocibin mushrooms and MDMA. The body responsible for training Psychiatrists in Australia and New Zealand has published its first guidelines for psychedelic-assisted therapy -- paving the way for some patients to be treated with psylocibin or MDMA from as early as next month.
