Investigative reporter Catherine Herridge revealed how CBS executives blocked the Hunter Biden laptop from hell story. Catherine Herridge previously worked as the chief intelligence correspondent for Fox News. In 2019, she joined CBS News as a senior investigative correspondent. She was fired in 2024 after she probed the Hunter Biden laptop from hell story. Hunter Biden dropped off his damaged laptops at a Delaware computer repair shop run by John Paul Mac Isaac back in 2019. John Paul Mac Isaac’s life changed in April 2019 when a visibly drunk Hunter Biden stopped by his computer repair shop with three damaged...

Witkoff and Kushner on one side, Rubio and Huckabee on the other: beneath the surface, the US administration is divided over who should be Israel's next prime minister… There was one moment in the Knesset speech on the day the war ended that particularly troubled Likud. It happened when the president spontaneously praised Yair Lapid. "He's a nice guy," he said to Netanyahu — and then jabbed the prime minister: "You don't need to be so tough now that the war is over." Was this a hint that the president intends, God forbid, to adopt neutrality in the upcoming election...

David Khait @David_Khait +1,000 people are registered to vote from a single address in Fulton County (Atlanta, Georgia) The issue? It’s a church and no one lives there. It’s a clever scheme by Democrat activists to register homeless people to vote, citing the church as their “residence” In one block, we found two churches that have registered over 3,000 people

2025 was an extraordinary year for precious metals. Gold, silver, and platinum each outperformed other asset classes, including equities, bitcoin (2024’s best performer), and even indexes tracking artificial intelligence (AI)—one of 2025’s most popular investment themes.Silver and platinum rose by approximately 170 percent in 2025, while gold returned a highly respectable 73 percent.Among AI stocks, only Palantir outperformed gold. Why such stellar performance from assets once derided by governments as “barbarous relics” and shunned by investors as outdated? The reason I wrote at the start of last year that we should “expect gold to shine in 2025” was because global conditions had...

A research team has discovered a promising new drug combination that may help people with acute myeloid leukemia overcome resistance to one of the most common frontline therapies. Researchers analyzed more than 300 acute myeloid leukemia, or AML, patient samples and found that pairing venetoclax, a standard AML drug, with palbociclib, a cell-cycle inhibitor currently approved for breast cancer, produced significantly stronger and more durable anti-leukemia activity than venetoclax alone. The findings were confirmed in human tissue samples, as well as in mouse models carrying human leukemia cells. Since the drug was approved by the FDA in 2019, venetoclax combined...

It’s that time of year again, when I assess my past prognostications and offer some fresh ones. In my January 2, 2025, column entitled “How My 2024 Predictions Went – And Some Predictions for 2025,” I made 20 predictions in those heady days post-Trump’s election victory. I had a pretty good accuracy rate. If you are playing baseball, I calculate I was batting .750. Not bad.I thought the Senate would confirm almost all of Trump’s nominees because the Senate Republicans were not stupid; for once, it did. I severely underestimated Mike Johnson, though – the guy pulled it off. He...

Zohran Mamdani was sworn in as New York City’s mayor today. The 34-year-old promised universal childcare for the many by taxing the wealthiest few. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders swore Mamdani into office and even Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made an appearance. “The cost of childcare will no longer discourage young adults from starting a family because we will provide universal childcare for the many by taxing the wealthiest few,” Mamdani told the crowd. “Those in rent-stabilized homes will no longer dread the latest rent hike because we will freeze the rent. Getting on a bus without worrying about a fare hike...

Pete Hegseth appeared to have a quickly lost patience for the Ukrainian plight in its fight against Russia as he took over leadership at the Pentagon last year. The Secretary of Defense – later renamed War Secretary – seemed to have a disdain for any pro-Ukraine generals left over from President Joe Biden's term, according to a New York Times report. Specifically, sources detail tension between General Christopher Cavoli, who is now retired but was commander of United States European Command from 2022 until his retirement from the Army in July 2025. One official said it remains unclear whether Hegseth...

Kyrgios won the tilt 6-3, 6-3 from a break down in the second set, and afterwards said the match was "a great stepping stone forward for the sport of tennis."The much-talked about "Battle of the Sexes" match between Nick Kyrgios and Aryna Sabalenka was won Sunday by the Aussie in straight sets. The two players promised "a show" in the months leading up to the event at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, but the marquee meeting took a while to warm up, both literally and figuratively, as the players adjusted to its modified rules. The court was nearly 10% smaller on...

The Anglican communion’s newly minted Archbishop of Wales, the Rev. Notably, Vann is not ‘married’ to her lesbian girlfriend, Wendy Diamond, but has been living in a “same-sex civil partnership” for years. A homeowner says living with a bear under his house has pushed him to his breaking point. In an exclusive interview with KTLA’s Jillian Smukler, he revealed plans to sue the California Department of Fish and Wildlife after being told the state will no longer help. Ken Johnson says the bear moved under his Altadena home just before Thanksgiving — and never left. “If I kept track of everything I tried, it would be Bear 14, Homeowner 0,” said Johnson, using a sports analogy. Scientists are working to understand how aging itself can be modified to prevent age-related diseases, including Alzheimer's disease. A new study has discovered that calcium alpha-ketoglutarate (CaAKG), a safe, naturally occurring metabolite commonly studied for healthy aging, can restore key memory-related brain functions that have been disrupted in Alzheimer's disease. The main aim of the study was to evaluate whether CaAKG could also enhance synaptic plasticity in the Alzheimer's brain, restore memory-related signaling, protect neurons from early degenerative changes, and contribute to healthier cognitive aging. The study shows that CaAKG helps brain cells communicate better in Alzheimer's disease models. It...

In his final day in office, New York City Mayor Eric Adams vetoed the Community Opportunity to Purchase Act (COPA), which was set to create massive hurdles and red tape for landlords to sell their buildings. COPA would have forced landlords to first offer up their property to non-profits and other city-approved entities before putting the buildings on the open market. This comes as a strong proponent of COPA, incoming Mayor Zohran Mamdani, has cited it as a strategy to get rid of bad landlords. Adams, on Wednesday, vetoed the measure which was derided by landlord groups as well as...
