A number of Republican senators and conservative pundits want regime change in Iran. “I think it is very much in the interest of America to see regime change,” Sen. Ted Cruz told Fox News on Sunday. “I don't think there's any redeeming the ayatollah.” Most pushing for regime change know they can’t go full neocon to sell the idea. The public is repelled by anything resembling the warmongering against Saddam Hussein, particularly talk about nation building. So advocates for regime change in Iran have settled on a new formula: regime change, but without the nation building. Supposedly, this is completely...

Russian troops have captured the small settlement of Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, Russian state news agency TASS reported on Saturday, citing Russia's Defense Ministry. Reuters could not independently confirm the battlefield report. The small village of Zaporizhzhia, which had a prewar population of about 200 people, is located near the strategic city of Pokrovsk, where some of the fiercest battles of the war have been fought over the past several months. Pokrovsk is a crucial transport hub in the east of Ukraine. The village is distinct from the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, the regional center and large industrial...

Two commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed in separate strikes Saturday — including the “founder of the Iranian regime’s plan to destroy Israel,” officials in Tel Aviv said. Saeed Izadi was assasinated when the Jewish state rained missiles down on an apartment in Iran’s Qom province, Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz said. Izadi led the Palestine Corps of the overseas arm, known as the Quds Force, which was a “key coordinator” between Iran and Hamas — and helped arm the terrorist group ahead of its Oct. 7, 2023 massacre. His main objective was to keep Hamas in...

Vice President J.D. Vance issued a pointed warning on Friday to Democrat governors across the country, stating that if they fail to stop rioters from destroying American cities, the Trump administration will deploy federal law enforcement to restore order, Breitbart reported. “If you let violent rioters burn great American cities to the ground, then of course we’re going to send federal law enforcement in to protect the people the president was elected to protect,” Vance said during remarks in Los Angeles. Vance emphasized that the Trump administration prefers local leaders to handle law enforcement but will act if necessary to...

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson unloaded on her Supreme Court colleagues Friday in a series of sharp dissents, castigating what she called a "pure textualism" approach to interpreting laws, which she said had become a pretext for securing their desired outcomes, and implying the conservative justices have strayed from their oath by showing favoritism to "moneyed interests." The attack on the court's conservative majority by the junior justice and member of the liberal wing is notably pointed and aggressive but stopped short of getting personal. It laid bare the stark divisions on the court and pent-up frustration in the minority over...

A debate is reaching a crescendo in Washington D.C. Does America become actively involved to finish off Iran or not. However, this is a false narrative that many are falling for. Presidents need a range of options, not simply “bomb or not bomb”. Israel has not reached the end of the two-week campaign they announced on June 12. The Israelis have eliminated almost every leadership personality except for the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. Yes, Iran is returning some fire, but it’s a pittance in return for the escalation dominance the Israelis have demonstrated. The compelling need for immediate American action...

The brief but intense signal, detected by radio telescopes in Western Australia, lasted only a fraction of a second yet became the brightest object in the sky, momentarily outshining entire galaxies and stars. The source of this unexpected burst was Relay 2, a communications satellite launched by NASA in 1964. After both of its transmitters failed in 1967, the satellite had been silent and declared defunct until now. Experts believe the signal wasn't deliberately transmitted by the satellite, but was triggered by an external event. One possibility is an electrostatic discharge: a sudden release of electrical energy, similar to a...

Mayor Karen Bass took aim at JD Vance Friday for the comments he made during his visit to Los Angeles, accusing the vice president of "spewing lies" and disrespecting Sen. Alex Padilla. The heated exchange comes just hours after the vice president's own press conference, where he took jabs at both Mayor Bass and Gov. Gavin Newsom, claiming their decisions and policies are "endangering" federal officials

200 California bar exam takers have had their failing scores adjusted to “pass.” ... In 2025, American students from kindergarten through law school are dumber than they’ve ever been, and we needn’t look beyond the nation’s abysmal math and English literacy NAEP scores to prove it. BAYTOWN, Texas – It’s the end of an era for ExxonMobil as the company is scheduled to demolish their old 10-story Main Office Building in Baytown on Saturday. Known as the “White House,” the building has played a role in the company since it opened in 1971. The building, located at 2800 Decker Drive, will be coming down this Saturday at 6:30 a.m. as the company implodes it. While there will be no designated viewing areas available for the public to view the implosion, the company says they will be posting a video of the demolition online after it happens....

Isolationists seek to discredit warnings about the great dangers of a nuclear-armed Iran as “warmongers” or “neocons.” Yet history proves the opposite: Isolationism allowed Nazi Germany to arm and vastly expand its war machine, in violation of the Treaty of Versailles. In reality, isolationists are the most dangerous war-mongers. Their intent to keep the U.S. out of military conflict (short of a direct attack on the U.S. homeland), virtually ensures a catastrophic war.

A lobbyist has been charged with threats of violence after sending text messages threatening to carry out a shooting at the Minnesota State Capitol. Jonathan Michael Bohn, 41, made his first court appearance Friday morning. The charges come less than a week after the assassination of House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and the shootings of Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette. According to a criminal complaint, a resident of Waconia contacted authorities on Wednesday, saying that Bohn had sent him threatening text messages. The victim said he hadn’t spoken with Bohn in a “considerable amount...

Six B-2 stealth bombers from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri appear to be en route to a U.S. Air Force base in Guam, according to flight tracking data and voice communications with air traffic control. The bombers apparently refueled after launching from Missouri, suggesting they launched without full fuel tanks due to a heavy onboard payload, which could be bunker-buster bombs. The B-2 can carry two 15-ton bunker-buster bombs—which only the U.S. possesses. Experts say the bombs could be critical to targeting Iran’s most heavily fortified nuclear site: Fordow.
