“Walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called” (Ephesians 4:1). Compared to walking worthy of Christ, nothing else is really important. Let’s review what Paul has taught us from Ephesians 4:1-6. God has chosen and called us to be part of His family, and He expects us to act like His children. He wants us to walk worthy of Christ and be unified. To follow God’s will in this, we must, with His help, deal with our sin and develop godly virtues. Our lives must first be marked by “all humility” (v. 2). We...

The Catholic University of America has dismissed one of its professors for bringing an abortion advocate to class to speak to students. A Tuesday email from the school’s president, Peter Kilpatrick, obtained by CNA said that the school began an investigation last week after learning of reports of an abortion advocate being invited to a class. The president said the school also learned that a student had an audio recording of the class in question. The Daily Signal, which obtained and released a copy of the recording last week, identified the psychology professor as Melissa Goldberg. “Now that we have...

On Thursday, January 25th, an inmate named Kenneth Smith was executed in Alabama using a new execution method: death by nitrogen hypoxia. And a notable euthanasia advocate has condemned it, but only because he claims the execution method is “bad publicity” for the assisted death movement. Smith had previously undergone an attempted execution in November of 2022, but the attempts at lethal injection failed. Smith’s legal team claimed that attempting to execute him for a second time would equal cruel and unusual punishment, but the day before the execution, the Supreme Court refused to intervene, denying an appeal. Three of...

The leader of a Baltimore nonprofit got an up-close and personal look at the destruction caused by the war in Gaza. Sean Callahan, CEO of Catholic Relief Services, said the devastation and desperation there is clear. “In the morning, afternoon and night, you have jets buzzing overhead. You hear bombing in the distance. You have drones and helicopters over you. You have these poor people that have moved around and it’s very difficult,” he said. Callahan toured the area and visited the group’s office there to get a better idea of what assistance they need, as many civilians have been...

Saturday Night Live (SNL) alum and actress Leslie Jones published a book last year, “Leslie ******* Jones: A Memoir,” during which she discussed having multiple abortions. She also appeared on The Daily Show, in a segment where she heavily promoted Planned Parenthood — and for that, the NAACP has nominated her for their Outstanding Image Award. Jones tweeted about the accomplishment on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying she was “beyond honored” to be recognized for her discussion of the “crucial role” Planned Parenthood played for her. “The battle to ensure the reproductive rights for women in the U.S. continues,”...

A Republican-led House panel approved articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas early Wednesday for having “willfully and systematically” flouted federal immigration laws and breached the public trust. The House Homeland Security Committee voted 18-15 along party lines for the two articles of impeachment, affirming that Mayorkas failed to detain migrants crossing the border before deciding whether to grant asylum. The articles also state that the secretary ignored records requests from the committee and misled Congress about having “operational control” of the US border and maintaining that it is “secure.” The marathon hearing, which dragged on for more...

Former Biden associate Eric Schwerin told lawmakers that he was 'not aware' of then-Vice President Joe Biden's role in his son's foreign dealings despite meeting with him 'multiple' times and providing financial advice when he worked with Hunter Biden. Schwerin, a close business associate of Hunter's at his investment firm Rosemont Seneca, was brought in Tuesday under a subpoena by Republicans leading the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden. He specifically faced questions about the then-Vice President's use of pseudonyms to discuss personal and business activities. Schwerin was included on at least 54 direct emails with Joe between 2009 and 2017,...

Six pro-life Americans face over a decade in prison for allegedly violating a federal law during their abortion protest. The charges against them stemmed from a massive campaign of political persecution the Biden administration brought against pro-life rescuers for protesting abortion inside abortion centers. In 2021, the US Department of Justice charged seven individuals with violating the FACE Act (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances), which stipulates that individuals cannot block the entrance to abortion clinics or prevent individuals from accessing them. An additional four activists were charged with misdemeanor charges. In March, a group of 20 pro-life advocates walked...

There’s the liberal media’s crusade against the former president, but then there’s E. Jean Carroll’s war against Trump, which is something otherworldly. She’s filed multiple lawsuits against Donald Trump. The first rendered a $5 million judgment against the former president. The latest suit, stemming from Trump calling Carroll a “whack job” during a CNN town hall event, led to a $83 million judgment. Her reaction to the ruling is unhinged and obsessive (via ABC News): Three days after a jury awarded her over $83 million for Donald Trump's repeated defamatory statements, columnist E. Jean Carroll vowed to use the money...

The federal trial of six defendants – Chet Gallagher, Heather Idoni, Cal Zastrow, Coleman Boyd, Paul Vaughn, and Dennis Green – began on Wednesday, January 24, in Nashville. The first group of five defendants, one of whom (Heather Idoni) is currently being tried...

An iconic San Francisco toy store famed for inspiring the Toy Story movies has been forced to close after 86 years due to the city's rampant crime and homelessness epidemic. Jeffrey's Toys shared the news this week that it would be permanently closing its doors, citing a crimewave that had left it 'struggling for a number of years'. The store's attorney named the 'perils and violence of the downtown environment' as the main factor driving the decision, alongside 'inflation, the decrease in consumer spending and the demise of retail across the world'. 'The leadership of the City of San Francisco...

Why is this World Economic Forum different from all other World Economic Forums? For Jewish and Israeli leaders attending the annual conference in Davos, Switzerland, the answer could not be clearer: Conference organizers have scaled up efforts to include conversations about antisemitism and Israel at the weeklong gathering. Earlier this week, an Israeli delegation held a screening of footage of the Oct. 7 terror attacks. Last night, Palantir CEO Alex Karp hosted an event with family members of hostages as well as some of the released hostages. On Thursday afternoon, a panel of Jewish and Israeli thought leaders will take...

A conservative group known for exposing Joe Biden’s dog as a serial biter of Secret Service staffers is suing San Francisco over its guaranteed income program for transgender residents. The nonprofit Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit in San Francisco Superior Court this week “on behalf of San Francisco taxpayers” Michael Phillips, Paul Wildes and Reed Sandberg. It names Mayor London Breed, Treasurer José Cisneros, City Administrator Carmen Chu and the executive director of the city’s Office of Transgender Initiatives as defendants in the lawsuit, which argues that the city’s GIFT program violates the California Constitution’s equal protection clause. GIFT, San...

Oakland - A popular store in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood was broken into early Tuesday by burglars who rammed a pickup truck into the doors, the fourth such incident in recent months. "I wish we could do something about it, but we cannot," said co-owner David Shrestha. Surveillance video shows a pickup truck repeatedly backing into the store on College Avenue near Lawton Avenue at about 3:50 a.m. Tuesday. Several intruders then rummage inside, stealing liquor, cigarettes, two cash registers and a safe. "You can't even tell me right now how I'm feeling. I'm really, really mad," said Shrestha, who believes...

Actually, there has never been a country called "Palestine," and the Jewish people were the original inhabitants of this territory. Many college students, and all of the anti-Israel protesters, erroneously believe that a country called "Palestine" was populated by a people called "Palestinians" until World War II, after which Jews who escaped the Nazi Holocaust began migrating there as "settlers" and took the land from Arabs. Today, so the narrative goes, they are colonial occupiers of "stolen Palestinian land," as the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) "Day of Resistance Toolkit" puts it. There are many things wrong with these...

Judge Sebutinde, in her dissent, argued that “South Africa has not demonstrated, even on a prima facie basis, that the acts allegedly committed by Israel and of which the Applicant complains, were committed with the necessary genocidal intent, and that as a result, they are capable of falling within the scope of the Genocide Convention.” She added that “the Applicant has not demonstrated that the rights it asserts and for which it seeks protection through the indication of provisional measures are plausible under the Genocide Convention.” Sebutinde said the failure of states to reach a political solution to conflicts “may...
