The super PAC backing Gov. Ron DeSantis's (R-FL) presidential bid, Never Back Down, suffered a significant departure Friday, losing Chairman Adam Laxalt. The former Republican senatorial candidate, who lost to Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) in 2022, informed the PAC's board of his decision on Nov. 26 in a letter. Never Back Down confirmed his departure to the Washington Examiner. In the letter, reviewed by the New York Times, Laxalt wrote, “After nearly 26 straight months of being in a full-scale campaign, I need to return my time and attention to my family and law practice." Despite his leaving, he...

A plastic surgeon from Chicago, Illinois by the name of Dr. Benjamin Caughlin MD, FACS (@manyfacesofchicago) has amassed a large following on TikTok and Instagram for his education regarding a number of plastic surgery procedures and humorous videos in between. Caughlin posted a now mega viral video to the tune of Bridgit Mendler’s “Hurricane,” in which he claims to have created a “beautiful” jawline for someone only for them to get “cancelled” shortly afterwards. SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The content safety team for the social media site X (formerly Twitter) has announced major progress in fighting child grooming on the platform. According to their statistics, child grooming content on Elon Musk's social media app has plummeted by 83% since Disney pulled ads in an effort to boycott X. "X is safer from abhorrent content aimed at sexualizing children now that Disney is out of the picture," said the Content Safety Officer, "We're seeing a reduction in gender confusion, trans ideology, and creeps telling kids to ignore their parents and just do whatever they want....

“Ultimately,” contends Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), the next Israeli government “is going to have to put us back on a path to have a Palestinian state. That’s not easy, but it is the only way forward for Israel, is the only way forward for long-term peace.” Well, it’s not the only way forward, right? Israel could clamp down on Palestinian autonomy until the violence against innocent Jewish civilians stops, and residents start living peacefully with their neighbors and begin accepting history’s outcomes. That’s another option. While the situation today is appalling, creating a three-front Iran-backed terror state on the borders...

Hoo boy! I made a nice drink; Buffalo Trace Bourbon (2/3) and Cynar (1/3) a splash of Angostura, and Luxardo cherries (2). Happily, I made it as if I had a friend over, so not a double, but a quadruple! Later, I have two beautiful lamb chops standing by with a large sprig of rosemary for the cast iron pan. Fresh loaf of rustic baguette and fried young spinach. What are you having?

Disgraced actor Jussie Smollett may be going back to jail soon as an appeals court upheld his convictions related to a 2019 hate crime hoax on Friday. The “Empire” star, 41, was convicted in 2021 of five felony counts of disorderly conduct related to the alleged racist, homophobic attack and sentenced to 150 days behind bars. He served just six days of the sentence while the appeal was pending. Smollett challenged the role of the special prosecutors, the jury selection, evidence, and other aspects of the case against him – but the convictions were ultimately upheld in 2-1 opinion from...

JUST IN: The inmate who stabbed Derek Chauvin 22 times in prison last week has been identified by The U.S. Attorney's Office 52-year-old John Turscak. Oddly enough, Turscak is a former FBI informant!! Coincidence? I don’t think so. Seems like a coordinated effort to kill Chauvin. “Turscak told investigators that he attacked Chauvin on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, as a symbolic connection to the Black Lives Matter movement and the "Black Hand" symbol associated with the Mexican Mafia gang, prosecutors said.”

Skip to main content Jussie Smollett headed back An incarcerated former gang member and FBI informant was charged Friday with attempted murder in the stabbing last week of ex-Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin at a federal prison in Arizona. John Turscak stabbed Chauvin 22 times at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tucson and said he would’ve killed Chauvin had correctional officers not responded so quickly, federal prosecutors said. Turscak, serving a 30-year sentence for crimes committed while a member of the Mexican Mafia gang, told investigators he thought about attacking Chauvin for about a month because the former officer, convicted...

Here is the full debate between Desantis and Newsome. Right from the start newsome evades the very first question: "Explain the phenomenon of why it is that so many people have left the state of California (in '21 and '22) that there is a net loss of 750K residents while Florida gained 454K residents."

BEIJING — Following last night's heavily publicized debate between California Governor Gavin Newsom and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the Chinese state media proclaimed Newsom the clear and unquestioned winner. "There is no other conclusion which anyone may draw," said Xing Zhou, spokesman for the People's Republic of China. "Our dear friend and close colleague, Mr. Newsom, soundly defeated the brash American DeSantis. Everyone saw this. Do not question it." Despite many people throughout the media and across the country expressing the view that DeSantis soundly trounced Newsom at every turn during the debate, multiple representatives of the Chinese government were...

By banning firearms from a long list of "sensitive places," the state is copying a policy that federal judges have repeatedly rejected. A California law that is scheduled to take effect on January 1 will impose a host of new restrictions on public possession of firearms. That may seem counterintuitive, since Senate Bill 2 is the state legislature's response to the U.S. Supreme Court's June 2022 ruling in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen, which upheld the Second Amendment right to carry guns for self-defense outside the home. But California, like several other states with discretionary carry-permit...

"Where would I be mentally and spiritually if I wasn't forced to sit my ass down and self-reflect?"DaBaby has said that losing $200million (£160,780,000) after a homophobic rant he made in 2021 was “a blessing in disguise”. Back in February 2021, DaBaby got on stage and made homophobic comments and misleading statements about HIV/AIDS. “If you didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three week,” he told the crowd at Rolling Loud. “Fellas, if you ain’t suck a n****a dick in the parking lot, put...

Rep. George Santos, or, now-former Rep. George Santos, has denied allegations that he moonlighted as a drag queen named “Kitara Ravache.” But maybe he would have been smart to embrace it — no Democrat could have voted to expel a drag queen from the lower chamber! On Friday, House Democrats voted nearly unanimously along with 105 Republicans to expel the freshman representative from New York. It’s worth noting that Michigan Democrat Rashida Tlaib, meanwhile, received a mere censure over her antisemitic activism and solidarity with Hamas terrorists. Santos became the third member removed from the House since the Civil War....
