@HannahDCox Biden has been one of the top power players persecuting Julian Assange for simply being a journalist and reporting the truth for years. He doesn't care about freedom of the press. He doesn't care about free speech. He's a complete and total fraud. RE: @RandPaul On World Press Freedom Day @POTUS put out a statement saying we must speak out against those trying to silence press. And now this… RE: @RobertBluey Over the past three months, the number of reporters with access to the @WhiteHouse dropped by 31%. There are now 442 fewer reporters with a coveted “hard pass”—the...

SALT LAKE CITY — The news is out about Utah's decision to allow some immigrant professionals to become licensed in the state — and the demand for such licenses is high. The Department of Commerce, which oversees a lion's share of the state's licensing, has received over 2,600 responses since May from foreign-licensed professionals who are interested in becoming licensed in Utah. The Utah Legislature approved SB35 earlier this year, which allows for such licensing among several state agencies. It was preceded by SB43, which made the same allowances for licenses and certifications from the Utah Division of Professional Licensing....

A treasure hunter has accused the FBI of a 'major coverup' after it allegedly made off with $500million worth of buried Civil War gold. Dennis Parada believes he located a burial site around halfway up a mountain in western Pennsylvania laden with Civil War treasure, before the FBI dug up the goods under the cover of darkness. The detectorist claims he alerted authorities to the possible haul after ground-testing suggested the Dents Run site was filled with gold. The FBI then commissioned its own tests that suggested vast amounts of the metal could be below the surface. The agency claims...

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was interrupted and heckled for five straight minutes during his speech in his home state at the St. Jerome Fancy Farm Picnic on Saturday, a premier political event in Kentucky. Instead of a respectful silence, the audience delivered a relentless, clear, and loud message for a full five minutes, drowning out his speech. Foot-stomping and chants echoed around the venue, making it abundantly clear that the senator’s reception was far from warm in his home state. He is done. The dissenting voices underscore the sentiment that McConnell, at 81 years old and with nearly four...

During a conversation with a family member giving to making those Pointed Remarks about various "injustices," the topic of illegal immigration was touched upon briefly. It occurred to me that I could invite this person to see Sound of Freedom and then point out the amount of child sex and labor slavery occurring with illegal immigration. Thanks so much!

The anniversaries of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki present an opportunity to demolish a cornerstone myth of American history — that those twin acts of mass civilian slaughter were necessary to bring about Japan’s surrender, and spare a half-million US soldiers who’d have otherwise died in a military conquest of the empire’s home islands. Those who attack this mythology are often reflexively dismissed as unpatriotic, ill-informed or both. However, the most compelling witnesses against the conventional wisdom were patriots with a unique grasp on the state of affairs in August 1945 — America’s senior military leaders of World War...

Citing an increased risk of default, Fitch Ratings downgraded US government debt. Richard Francis, a senior director at Fitch, said "the rising quantity of borrowed money combined with a collapse of revenues raises the odds that lenders will not be paid back in full for the funds they have lent to the US government. It is our obligation to apprise future potential lenders of this fact." US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen called the downgrade "flawed and entirely unwarranted. It's not as if we are unable to secure the funds that will be needed to pay off these loans. There is...

A relatively common health problem—constipation—has been shown to be a risk factor for hypertension and cardiovascular events such as stroke in people over 60. The extensive study of over half a million hospital admissions in Victoria suggests that interventions to address constipation may reduce these risks in elderly patients. The study, led by Professors Grant Drummond and Chris Sobey, looked at 541,172 hospitalized patients over 60 years of age. For each constipation admission, one exact age-matched non-constipated admission was randomly selected from all hospitalizations within two weeks to form the control arm of the study. The researchers found that patients...

The Justice Department’s latest indictment against former President Donald Trump made some waves on the Sunday morning circuit. At center stage was former Vice President Mike Pence, who has been struggling to build something resembling an adequate presidential primary campaign. The prosecution seems to believe that having Pence testify in the upcoming legal proceedings against the Orange Man What Is Bad™ might deliver exactly what they need to put him behind bars. On the flip side, Trump’s defense team seems confident that the former vice president’s possible testimony will work in their client’s favor. Which side is right? The answer might...

New testimony linking President Joe Biden to a “pay to play” bribery scheme raises the question of how history will assess his tenure in office. Admittedly, it is risky to compare the performance of modern presidents against their predecessors. Because it is hard to place current events in historical context, snap judgments can prove embarrassing later. For example, during the presidency of George W. Bush (served 2001-2009), some commentators ranked him as the worst American chief executive in history. In hindsight, however, that assessment seems absurd, even to liberal academics. The 2021 C-SPAN Presidential Historians Survey ranked him 29th of 44.More...

The media, Biden, and other Democrats keep bragging how great Bidenomics is and how good the job market is. That would especially make it good for kids who went to college because they make more than people who didn't. Yet we get these sob stories, that essentially are campaigning for other people to pay off student loan debt, whining that after three years of letting people skip paying their loans, they are all of a sudden are going to have to pay. What a concept! Paying off your own debt. Somehow, only half are going to be required to pay...
