They made the decision on the ground as to what was safest and easiest.”Garland did not comment on the enormous expense of sending a SWAT team to arrest a father of seven. Also not mentioned was the fact that this early morning raid tactic,...

Sometime late Tuesday evening, it became clear that Democrats had once again prevailed in a key toss-up race. This time, it happened in Wisconsin, with Republicans coming up short in a state supreme court election that could have a profound impact on the outcome of 2024. This wasn’t some low-profile, inconsequential contest. This was one of the most expensive supreme court races in history. Tens of millions of dollars were spent in an attempt to cement power in the all-important swing state. Unfortunately, most of it came from Democrats. What were Republicans doing while the polls were open? We were...

Whether you want to anonymously provide whistle-blowing details on a corrupt business operation or you just want to check today's weather, simply logging on is fraught with threats to your privacy. This week, two major players in the field of online privacy joined forces to release a super-private browser that they say will "make life harder for those who collect data from you." Mullvad VPN, a highly respected service based in Sweden, where providers are legally protected from being forced to collect traffic-related...

Researchers first had to address the very issue that makes superglue so “super” – it sticks to just about everything. Researchers discovered a way to turn superglue into strong, clear plastic that can be made into many shapes. (Allison Christy / CC BY-ND) Our team used superglue as a starting material to develop a low-cost, recyclable and easily produced transparent plastic called polyethyl cyanoacrylate that has properties similar to those of plastics used for single-use products like cutlery, cups and packaging. Unlike most traditional plastics, this new plastic can be easily converted back to its starting materials, even when combined...

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican state Rep. Dan Knodl defeated a Democratic attorney to win an open Senate seat in Tuesday’s special election, creating a GOP supermajority in the chamber that could be used to impeach Democratic Gov. Tony Evers and other office holders. Knodl defeated Jodi Habush Sinykin in the 8th District race. The seat represents Milwaukee’s northern suburbs and has leaned red for years. It came open after longtime Republican incumbent Alberta Darling decided to retire in November. Evers called a special election to fill the position. It seems that, for the ultra-liberal administration of Toronto, even the lenient Canadian drug legislation is not enough, as city officials demand from the Canadian government the authorization to implement a much more radical plan, that includes decriminalizing ALL drugs to ALL ages, including underage children. TNC reports: “The City of Toronto has released its sweeping plan to decriminalize all hard drugs, including fentanyl and crack cocaine for any age. Toronto’s request is even more lenient than the decriminalization order granted to the entire province of British Columbia by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau earlier this year. The City is asking...

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged former President Donald with a crime that “doesn’t exist,” an attorney for the former president told Tucker Carlson Tuesday. “Let’s talk about what we can see in the indictment, which is the year and date. I’m no crazy brilliant human being, but I’m sure I know how to read a calendar. We have dates, February 2017 for a few months. Where was President Trump in February 2017? In the Oval Office,” Alina Habba told Carlson, a co-founder of the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Okay. So what they’re saying there were checks written to his...

At high noon and in the middle of Fifth Avenue, it seems Alvin Bragg conspired to violate President Trump’s civil rights. He ought not to get away with it. It’s Jim Crow Alabama. In an old plantation town, a young black man—a sharecropper’s son—wants change. He walks up great steps of the county courthouse to dead silence. Proudly he marches under the glare of a puff-chested man chewing on a piece of straw. Stoically, that young man arrives at the counter of the county clerk, and there drops his petition to make it official: He’s to run for mayor. The...
