Multiple fire crews are at the scene of a large fire at an egg farm in Bozrah on Saturday. Firefighters said the fire is in a chicken coop at Hillandale Farms on Schwartz Road. According to Colchester Fire Department, there are water issues and more tankers are being called. In a video posted by Norwich Fire Department, there appears to be extensive damage to the chicken coop. Crews are still working to extinguish the fire. There is large amounts of smoke in the area. The smoke from the fire can be seen on Route 2 near exit 24.

“Home sales appear set to turn higher. Mortgage purchase applications have averaged 9% above their October trough so far in January and survey-based measures of purchasing intentions have rebounded sharply,” wrote Goldman Sachs researchers in their latest report.
