Journalists with CNN and CBS severely criticized President Joe Biden for having the U.S. military behind him as he gave a political speech that demonized MAGA Republicans as a dark threat to American democracy. “Whatever you think of this speech the military is supposed to be apolitical. Positioning Marines in uniform behind President Biden for a political speech flies in the face of that. It’s wrong when Democrats do it. It’s wrong when Republicans do it,” tweeted CNN’s Brianna Keilar.

People in the United Kingdom with folic acid prescriptions were 1.5 times more likely to get COVID-19. They were also 2.6 times more likely to die from COVID-19 compared to the control group. The research found having a prescription for the antifolate drug methotrexate mitigated the negative impact of folic acid on COVID-19 when folic acid and methotrexate were given together. "We examined whether COVID-19 diagnosis and death were related to the large doses of folic acid—five times the safe upper limit—prescribed to patients for a variety of medically approved indications. We found that the risk of becoming infected and...

Among the many horrors of the Holocaust were the Judenräte, Jewish administrative councils set up under the aegis of Nazi Germany’s occupation of Eastern Europe. Typically recruited from local elites and granted special privileges by the Germans, these collaborators managed the day-to-day operations of the ghettos, up to and including the horrible sharp end of Final Solution: confiscating Jewish property for the Germans, registering and organizing Jews destined for slave labor or extermination, and even managing deportations with the desperate hope that willingly engaging a sacrifice they could never prevent might enable them to save some others. Once all the...

BEL AIR, Calif. (FOX 11) - There is a history in the Santa Monica Mountains of seasonal wildfire threats. The Skirball Fire is nowhere near as devastating as the one that tore through the neighborhood back when John F. Kennedy was president. A little more than half a century ago - on November 5th, 1961, a brush fire triggered when a construction crew's equipment threw off a spark and quickly grew into a massive blaze fueled by Santa Ana winds. Tragically, 484 homes were destroyed and a little more than 16,000 acres burned

The FBI created a fake crime scene at Mar-a-Lago by adding their documents to the scene and doctoring the photo of the scene. This is against the law. The DOJ responded in a lawsuit by President Trump asking a judge to review the FBI raid of his iconic property Mar-a-Lago. In the DOJ’s response, the DOJ included a document they claim was taken at Mar-a-Lago. The photo was all over the news on Wednesday, August 31, the day after it was provided to the court. The Independent made fun of the Time Magazine cover on the right side of the...

It will be built on land offered in concession by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al Sisi. President Joe Biden called on Americans to “stop” MAGA Republicans, whom he consistently cast as a dark force against democracy in his “Soul of the Nation” prime-time speech on Thursday. While much of the president’s dark and brooding speech focused on demonizing MAGA Republicans, one particular moment took the demonization a step further when the president appeared to suggest that Americans take up the mantle of isolating Trump supporters.

Former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said Thursday on MSNBC’s “All In” that President Joe Biden had an obligation to call out “temptation toward violence” of so-called “MAGA Republicans.” Johnson said, “In the wake of Mar-a-Lago, and the wake of the attack of the FBI field office. I believe that President Biden felt like he had an obligation to give that speech. I felt it was notable that he mentioned Donald Trump by name, something he rarely does. I think it’s notable that he called out ‘MAGA Republicans’ for not telling the truth, for not respecting the Constitution, for not...

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol is asking former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) to voluntarily sit with its investigators, claiming he advised the Trump team in the days after the former president’s loss in the 2020 election. “Information obtained by the Select Committee suggests that you provided detailed directives about the television advertisements that perpetuated false claims about fraud in the 2020 election, that you sought ways to expand the reach of this messaging, and that you were likely in direct conversations with President Trump about these efforts,” the committee wrote in its...

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) called on President Biden to use a prime-time speech to apologize for a remark calling “MAGA” philosophy “semi-fascism.” “President Biden has chosen to divide, demean and disparage his fellow Americans. That is not leadership,” McCarthy said in a prebuttal speech to Biden’s planned address from the president’s hometown of Scranton, Pa., Thursday evening.

As RedState reported, excerpts from Joe Biden’s “MAGA speech” previewed a gross abuse of the Executive Office of the President. Sure enough, that’s exactly what was delivered as the president appeared in Philidelphia, standing in front of a blood-red background, flanked by Marines. Lines were crossed that can’t be uncrossed, from the use of the military as props in a blatantly political speech to Biden suggesting that nearly half the country is a “danger” to the republic. This was a speech that went far beyond anything seen in the modern era of presidential addresses. Of course, because we are dealing...
