“‘Where can wisdom be found?’” (Job 28:12). Wisdom is found in a Person, not a place. In ancient days men would drill a shaft deep into a mountain or the ground, suspend themselves with a rope, and hang in the shaft while they tried to find some metal or precious stone to mine. In the Old Testament Job described the process this way: “He [man] sinks a shaft far from habitation, forgotten by the foot; they hang and swing to and fro far from men” (Job 28:4). The miner searched far below the earth’s surface for “anything precious” (v. 10)....

Hunter Biden’s art dealer, Georges Bergès, announced Friday that Hunter’s artwork is a testament to the “American story.” The president’s son, who grew up under the tutelage of a United States senator since age three, is supposedly a bastion of the American dream, or so Bergès claimed to the Times. “Hunter Biden’s story is the American story, Bergès declared. “It’s a redemptive story.” Hunter’s American “story” includes being under investigation by the FBI for money laundering, according to CNN, along with reportedly using the N-word, using his father’s last name to cut deals, demanding millions of dollars to unlock Libyan...

The founder of Microsoft has warned of bioterrorist attacks and has urged world leaders to use "germ games" to prepare for them. Bill Gates said governments must get ready for future pandemics and smallpox terror attacks by investing billions in research and development. Mr Gates suggested "germ games" could be used to practise how to respond to such events. He also called for the formation of a new billion-dollar World Health Organisation (WHO) Pandemic Task Force. "It'll take probably about a billion a year for a pandemic Task Force at the WHO level, which is doing the surveillance and actually...

Leaders of ports along South Florida’s coast said they’re ready to step up and help other ports around the country, as those other ports continue to experience delays and backlogs due to global supply chain issues. The chairman of the board for the Florida Ports Council, Jonathan Daniels, said there is no congestion at the ports in Palm Beach County, Fort Lauderdale or Miami. However, he says supply chain issues are leading to delays north of Florida and on the West Coast. He says those ports are experiencing delays partly due to the fact that they supply goods for the...

Input Stimuli and Output Signals in LENR Experiments David J. Nagel The George Washington University USA E-mail: nagel@gwu.edu Over the decades, a wide variety of stimuli have been put into, and diverse signals have been measured from LENR experiments. The available empirical results raise two kinds of questions: (1) of all the published effects, which might be most valuable to emphasize in future experiments, and (2) what other stimuli or signals might be used to further the understanding and commercialization of LENR? This paper addresses these questions using the organization shown in this figure. Both productive past experiments and attractive...

Thirteen establishment House Republicans are facing backlash for enabling President Joe Biden’s infrastructure agenda, including the far-left’s reconciliation package. The 13 establishment House Republicans who voted to pass the $1.2 trillion “bipartisan” infrastructure bill, which will now go to Biden’s desk to sign, sprung free the far-left framework of the reconciliation package. The reconciliation package is a measure far-left Democrats had been fighting over for months while holding the infrastructure bill hostage. After 13 Republicans voted to pass Biden’s infrastructure bill, a rule was passed providing consideration for the reconciliation package’s framework, a key function that must occur in order...

The FBI currently has 2,700 open investigations of domestic extremism, more than double the usual number of cases, according to counterterrorism officials, underscoring the Biden administration’s accelerated pursuit of what it calls “domestic violent extremists.” The increase in domestic violent extremism described by the Biden administration is shocking, suggesting that the number of plots and racially-motivated killings attributed to white supremacists has also multiplied. So far, the administration has not presented those sorts of numbers. The Department of Homeland Security recorded an average of 1,000 investigations into domestic terrorism plots and incidents per year from 2017 through 2019, including approximately...

Last month, China launched a satellite called Shijian-21, designed to test new ways to clean up space debris. And this week, the US Space Force detected and catalogued a new object, suspected to be a rocket body designed to take satellites into a geostationary orbit called an apogee kick motor (AKM), SpaceNews reports. But oddly enough, the object is still in geostationary orbit next to Shijian-21 — instead of maneuvering out of the way to make sure it doesn’t collide with other satellites, which is the usual protocol for AKMs. The strange situation is raising more questions than answers. For...

President Biden appeared to mock the intelligence of the American people on Saturday when discussing the ongoing supply chain crises in America, questioning whether "they'd understand" the topic at hand. Biden's remarks came during a press conference as he answered a question from a reporter on criticism he has faced from Rep. Abigail Spanberger, D-Va., who said: "Nobody elected him to be F.D.R., they elected him to be normal and stop the chaos." "I don't intend to be anybody but Joe Biden, that's who I am," Biden said. "What I'm trying to do is do the things I ran on...

A federal lawsuit was filed recently after alleged abuse inside the Oklahoma County Jail, KFOR reported on Friday. “In October of 2020, two former Oklahoma County detention officers and their supervisor were charged with four counts of cruelty to prisoners, corporal punishment to an inmate, and conspiracy,” the outlet said. Court documents said former detention officers Christian Miles and Gregory Butler were accused of taking approximately five inmates from their cells, handcuffing them with their arms behind their backs inside an attorney booth, and forcing them to stand. “In some cases, the inmates were forced to listen to ‘Baby Shark’...

1. The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, over-reaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision. This latter element requires that before the acceptance of an affirmative decision by the experimental subject...
