The hasty evacuation from Afghanistan of approximately 122,000 people may create a national security threat in the United States. The U.S. programs that invite and relocate these individuals, especially how quickly they were dispatched to outgoing planes, are both herculean and fraught with security vulnerabilities. Fraud, the exploitation of our asylum and refugee programs, and the unrealistic and poorly staffed, unsustainable tracking programs are difficult to overcome. Many immigration experts worry this evacuation will test the limits of our ability to safely screen and admit the evacuees when we are already being tested at our borders because of Biden policies....

Doug Ducey’s (R) executive order. As such, his office is ordering the city to rescind or amend the order or risk losing millions of dollars in state funding, officials announced Tuesday.

Dr. Anthony Fauci has been accused by critics of lying after newly released documents appear to contradict his claims that the National Institute of Health did not fund gain-of-function research at China’s Wuhan lab. Senator Rand Paul led the criticism against Fauci on Tuesday after the documents, obtained by The Intercept, detailed grants given to EcoHealth Alliance — the nonprofit that funneled federal funds to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for bat coronavirus research. Included in the trove of documents is a previously unpublished grant proposal that EcoHealth Alliance, which is run by Peter Daszak, filed with Fauci’s National Institute...

Leaving the White House may be a weight off former President Donald Trump's shoulders in more ways than one, with observers noting that physical changes in the former president's appearance may demonstrate the physical toll the presidency took while also signaling future ambitions. Trump had lost about 15 pounds as of April, and he traded his typical spray tan for a natural hue at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, according to Business Insider. Trump advisers say the former president has seen marked improvements to his health, upgrading his diet and playing golf frequently. "Mar-a-Lago guests frequently comment about how good...

President Joe Biden struggled Tuesday during a discussion on extreme weather threatening the country, inexplicably declaring that tornadoes were no longer referred to as tornadoes. “Looks like a tornado — they don’t call them that anymore — that hit the crops and wetlands in the middle of the country,” Biden said. “In Iowa, in Nevada, in —it’s just across the board.”

Investor Peter Boockvar is sounding the alarm on a housing price bubble brought on by the Federal Reserve’s Covid pandemic policies. He warns first-time homebuyers are most vulnerable to dramatic losses. “I feel bad for the people who bought homes over the past year because they’re the ones that paid the very elevated prices,” the chief investment officer at Bleakley Advisory Group told CNBC’s “Trading Nation” on Thursday. He singles out those who put down 5% amid historically low mortgage rates. If home prices correct by 10%, Boockvar sees a world of pain.

A male Afghan refugee who was departing the Ramstein Air Base in Germany for the United States was detained Monday after it was discovered during pre-flight screening that he had blasting caps and other explosives materials in his carry-on luggage, three U.S. officials told Just the News. The man, who was born in the early 1990s and an Afghan citizen, was working as contractor for the U.S. government when he was evacuated, and officials believe the materials were related to his work and not terrorism, officials said. Nonetheless, the man was placed on a restricted list and prevented from traveling...

While the tragic end to the War in Afghanistan is an insult to the ultimate sacrifice of American soldiers like Adam Brown, we cannot lose hope. After 20 years, the War in Afghanistan has ended tragically. President Joe Biden’s incompetent exit strategy has left 13 service members dead and an unknowable number of American citizens and allies stranded in a country now under the rule of Islamic terrorists. The unfolding disaster has left many Americans in despair, fearful that thousands of American soldiers, who made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan, died for nothing. In spite of the self-interested and short-sighted...

Former President Donald Trump hammered Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) on Tuesday, calling him a “terrible representative for both Pennsylvania and the United States” while doubling down on his support for Republican Sean Parnell in the race to replace Toomey next year. Toomey is one of seven Senate Republicans who voted to convict Trump in his second impeachment trial earlier this year for inciting a mob to attack the Capitol. Trump has repeatedly gone after Republicans who broke with him on impeachment, and earlier on Tuesday endorsed a primary opponent of Rep. Fred Upton, a Michigan Republican who voted to impeach...

Two men brazenly walked out of an Oregon Lowe's store pushing a shopping cart filled with electrical wire before loading it into a waiting getaway car as helpless store workers looked on in the latest incident of 'legalized stealing' in Democratic states. The pair picked products like spools of wire valued at $2,000 - presumably to strip it for the valuable copper inside - from a Lowe's in Keizer, a suburb of Salem, on August 25. Keizer Police confirmed to DailyMail.com that they were investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made and the men have not been publicly...

President Biden on Thursday will address Americans on the next steps he and his administration will take to combat the coronavirus, the worst pandemic to sweep the globe in a century. The president’s speech, where he’s expected to detail a six-pronged strategy, comes amid a surge this summer in COVID-19 cases due to the swift spread across the U.S. of the highly infectious delta variant. Biden’s speech will also take place as his administration works to convince more Americans to get vaccinated against the virus, and with pressure increasing for vaccines to be authorized for children younger than 12 following...
