Steyer qualified for the debate after hitting 18 percent in a CBS News/YouGov poll in South Carolina released on Sunday morning, just one day before the Democratic National Committee's Monday deadline to set the field.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA — The unidentified shooter was out enjoying dinner with his family. As they exited the restaurant a man confronted the family and became aggressive with them. After asking the man to leave them alone numerous times with no result, dad finally took action. A Chesapeake man was shot and killed by a member of a family he approached “aggressively” outside a Mexican restaurant in Virginia Beach Friday night, police said. The family had told the man to leave them alone, said police spokeswoman Tonya Pierce. Brian Orlando Hicks, 37, died on scene at the parking lot outside...

Former Acting DNI Joseph Maguire did not brief the white house prior to taking Shelby Pierson, the person in charge of evaluating intelligence regarding election security, to lead the presentation to the house intel committee (HPSCI). That’s the key takeaway from a taped preview of National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien on Face The Nation. With NSA O’Brien confirming what many suspected it begs the question why would Shelby Pierson and Joseph Maguire intentionally blindside the White House? The briefing was obviously spun by HPSCI Chairman Adam Schiff and democrats on the committee; and there was no intelligence presented to support...

It's a sign of the Democrats' disarray. Poor Joy Reid has been reduced to begging the Bernie Bros not to attack one of her guests for the sin of pointing out that Sanders is a socialist!Earlier in her MSNBC show today, Reid said that Dems haven't hit Sanders with oppo research "because there's a blowback if you even say his name" in other than a positive way. Reid fretted that she would be getting "ethered" on twitter for mentioning Sanders. Reid also mentioned that she has blocked some of Bernie's senior team members because "I can't take it." [snip] Reid...

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif) is proposing to solve the homeless problem in his state by authorizing doctors to prescribe housing. "Having a comfortable and safe place to live is just as important to a person's health as insulin or antibiotics," he asserted. "Armed with a prescription from a doctor, a homeless person could then draw upon Medicaid resources to either buy a home or pay rent." Newsom called his idea "pure genius. Right now, there is no legal mandate for guaranteeing housing for the homeless. Ten million Californians, one in four, suffer from some type of behavioral health condition. This...

The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming! That is what most of the media want you to believe about the 2020 election. This explains the recent spate of reports about the Russians attempting to hack the results of the upcoming election just as they supposedly did with the 2016 election despite no solid proof. And among those who saw no real proof of Russian influence on the 2016 election is someone who is among the ones most steeped in the electoral facts of that election, Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight.

Think how much good could have been done with all the money Bloomberg and the democrats have wasted in all these Bloomberg ads. Of course the networks continue to back him to keep the goose alive in the race that lays the golden eggs. I don't know who the democrat party wants to be the nominee but it is not any of the ones on the debate stage now. Socialism, higher taxes, medicare for all, green new deal and the only one that can beat Trump are not things that many Americans like or will vote for.

Bernie Sanders is another fraud that is coming from the left. A few days ago news broke out that US officials have told Bernie Sanders that Russia is trying to help his campaign 30 days ago, prompting the frontrunner in the Democratic race to strongly condemn any interference. He stayed quiet as always. His communist’s past is nothing new, he spend a lot of time in Moscow and praised socialists and communist doctrines in the past. His base is nothing but far-left protestors that were exposed during recent Project-Veritas videos. What we didn’t know is that he is planning an...

.@PeteButtigieg, you clearly don’t understand the movement @BernieSanders has built. It reflects the true values + hope of working people in America. They simply want a country that puts working people first. Your critique tonight speaks for the American elite, not the majority— Bill de Blasio (@BilldeBlasio) February 23, 2020 And hey @PeteButtigieg, try to not be so smug when you just got your ass kicked. You know how we form a winning coalition to beat Trump? With a true multi-racial coalition of working Americans: something @BernieSanders has proven he can do + you haven’t. Dude, show some humility—...

People magazine dramatically downsized its political coverage as Donald Trump rose to power. But in this week's issue, the Historic Moment of a gay man winning a Democrat presidential caucus was just too dramatic for them to avoid. The puffery was epic. The headline was: THE MAYOR MAKING HISTORY: The first openly gay candidate to win a presidential caucus steps into the spotlight: "The presidency now calls for unity and somebody ready to turn the page." This man is the "unity" candidate? That only makes sense if you think the radical things that all the current Democrat candidates back, from...

Sorry for the vanity, but after reading and watching the news this morning the Dem's and their media are going nuts because the realize Bernie will be the nominee. The ONLY way out of this mess is for them is to give Hillary a call and destroy Bernie's chances. Any thoughts or guesses about when Hillary steps in to the campaign?

It’s midday in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. As the sun beats down, saguaro cacti throw little shade over this part of the Sonoran Desert, where summer temperatures regularly top 37°C (99°F). Today though a very narrow segment of the park is getting a little more shade. It’s accompanied by the incessant whine of construction vehicles. President Donald Trump’s major campaign promise is taking shape — a rusty, nine-meter tall mix of concrete and steel. As of January 31, 185 kilometers (115 miles) of new wall had been built, according to the US Customs and Border Protection Agency. Depending on...

Since the Russians are behind every voting booth in the country according to the MSM, the DNC, the Intelligence Community, and Hillary, it is incumbent upon President Trump and his DOJ to ensure an untainted election in 2020. President Obama had such warnings from high sources prior to the 2016 election and he blew them off. As things stand now the only way Trump can prove there is no “Russian” influence is for him to lose. If he (or now Bernie Sanders) wins, the election was cheated, invalid, and illegitimate; if he loses, and an establishment Democrat wins, then the...

Five Harvard students are suing university officials over Harvard's investments in what they call the "prison-industrial complex." The students are accusing the university's president, a senior fellow of Harvard Corporation, and Harvard's endowment manager, Harvard Management Company (HMC), of a "violation of fiduciary duty and breach of the Harvard charter." ...Unlike the students in 2014, whose case was initially dismissed because the judge said the plaintiffs lacked standing, the new crop of students say that they now have standing because they are also donors to Harvard.

On Friday's PBS NewsHour, liberal commentator Mark Shields made a very odd historical comparison -- the 2020 Democrat presidential contenders were like American revolutionaries of 1776, fighting a president who is somehow like King George III, the tyrannical English monarch. But first, both Shields and David Brooks agreed that Bernie Sanders -- the antithesis of 1776 libertarian ideas -- was the clear front-runner among Democrats, and Michael Bloomberg had a terrible debate. "He couldn't go toe to toe with Elizabeth Warren. I mean, she absolutely dominated him. She dominated the stage," proclaimed Shields. "I'm not sure she won the crowd,...

Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) has momentum that is unmatched. He came out neck-and-neck with former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg in Iowa, although Buttigieg ended up with one more delegate. He won by a razor-thin margin in New Hampshire, although he came out with the same number of delegates as Buttigieg. And he absolutely crushed it in Nevada, with practically no competition. But why is Bernie seeing such a surge? A large part of it has to do with the fact that average, working-class Americans are disenfranchised by the Democratic Party. In a lot of ways, Bernie is an...

When Mikaila Ulmer was four years old, she received an old cookbook from her grandmother. It was tattered and the covering was falling off, but the recipes were still intact. Thumbing through the pages, she stumbled on a mixture for flaxseed lemonade. “We tried making it, and it tasted really good,” Mikaila recalled in an interview years later. The Austin, Texas, native decided to sell the concoction at a lemonade stand. After a while—and an additional touch of her own, an infusion of honey, inspired by a newfound fascination with bees (more on that later)—Mikaila was encouraged by a local...
