An Apple engineer who died when his Tesla Model X hit a concrete barrier on a Silicon Valley freeway had complained before his death that the SUV’s Autopilot system would malfunction in the area where the crash happened. The documents say Huang told his wife that Autopilot had previously veered his SUV toward the same barrier on U.S. 101 near Mountain View, California where he later crashed. Huang died at a hospital from his injuries. “Walter said the car would veer toward the barrier in the mornings when he went to work,” the Huang family’s attorney wrote in a response...

Which led to this question from Twitchy favorite James Woods: “Did you step in human feces outside your office this morning and slip and hit your head?”: James Woods ✔ @RealJamesWoods Did you step in human feces outside your office this morning and slip and hit your head? What you #Democrats have done to once-beautiful California is a crime against humanity. https://twitter.com/gavinnewsom/status/1226932938882854913 …

The new XFL just made its debut over the weekend, and one thing viewers did not have to stomach were social justice warrior players kneeling in protest during the Star Spangled Banner. Unlike the cowardly NFL, which in 2018 withdrew an overture to ban dishonoring protests in pregame ceremonies, the XFL brain-trust had the guts to make it very clear that kneeling will not be tolerated. Grievance mongers who entertained any ideas of doing the Kaepernick thing can take their gripes elsewhere. Vince McMahon’s rebirth of the XFL, which had a previous and short-lived run way back in 2001, started...

Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, is reemerging as a central figure behind efforts to continue investigating Democrats’ ties to Ukraine with work on a new documentary about Hunter Biden, three Republican sources familiar with the project told Yahoo News. Giuliani and his production team, led by veteran California Republican fixer Tim Yale, have been conducting interviews for the documentary, according to two of the people familiar with the effort. They have also approached potential investors in the film, showing them trailers with footage of former Vice President Joe Biden and actors portraying Hunter Biden and Ukrainian officials, according to...

MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Two-thirds of voters believe that President Trump will be re-elected in November, according to a new Monmouth University poll released Tuesday. Of those, 27 percent said they think Trump will "definitely" be re-elected, while 39 percent said they feel he will "probably" win again. The poll also finds that just 11 percent of registered Democrats say their party's eventual nominee will "definitely" beat Trump, while 38 percent said "it is more likely than not" that President Trump will win. Democratic voters also raised concerns about the party's nominating schedule. Twenty-six percent of Democratic voters said they felt...

Acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan said Tuesday that he believes Mexico’s stagnant economy could be pushing migrants north to the United States in search of work. The number of Mexicans apprehended on the southern border increased 10.6 percent in January from the previous month, to 16,116. Mexican nationals represented about 61 percent of apprehended migrants last month, and the majority were single adults. The January figures mark a significant increase from the percentage of Mexican migrants last year. When border apprehensions hit a 13-year high in May, the majority of migrants were from Northern Triangle countries: Guatemala,...

RUSH: Why are the Democrats imploding? I was watching today before the busy broadcast began, and I was watching some people literally surprised that Joe Biden has crashed and burned in New Hampshire. I said, “Where have you been?” How can anybody be surprised that Biden was not gonna be the nominee? How can anybody be surprised that Biden was gonna — he’s been collapsed. He’s been “stick a fork in him” for months now. “But, Rush, the poll data.” Screw that. The polls were for another reason. Plugs, what, fifth place in Iowa if anybody even knows. He’s pulled...

CONCORD, NH -- Two days before a once-mission-critical primary in a state she neighbors, Sen. Elizabeth Warren - typically exceptional at holding a room - had not finished speaking when something unusual happened: Dozens of voters began filtering out of the middle school gym she had reserved. Campaign staff strained to enlist prospective volunteers on their way to their cars. “Someone, anyone,” one organizer called out as departing guests stepped around him. And when Warren wound toward her big finish, the go-out-and-get-’em kicker in these urgent final hours, her mind wandered accidentally to home. “It’s up to you, Massachusetts, to...

With President Donald Trump threatening to make real inroads into the black vote, will Democrats dare to nominate a candidate who has made racially biased statements? It is one thing to say that minorities commit crime at relatively high rates compared to whites, but it is something quite different to falsely claim that minorities commit virtually all murders. For a candidate who has already spent an astounding $350 million on his campaign -- more than all of his opponents combined -- it might be hard for his political opponents to get a word in edgewise. But, even as polls are...

Love him or loathe him, U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace proposal for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has formalized a seismic shift in Mideast geopolitics; one that has been roiling and brewing since 2009. The so-called “Obama doctrine” in the Middle East was intended to re-calibrate American influence in the region, and its key strategy seemed to be to fete and kowtow to Iran, in the belief that “respect” would moderate the murderous mullahs. It did not. The mullahs grinned, Secretary Kerry bowed and scraped, and Iran continued to foment war with its proxies and maintain its distinction as the pre-eminent financier...

RUSH: Snerdley came in bringing his little Stack of Stuff for me today. And CNN had an interview going on. I hope I’m able to relate this to you ’cause many of you are gonna think, “What’s the point of this?” And this is why I am here. You watching this, you would never notice what happened, you would never notice what it is unless I, somebody like me, a student of this stuff, can tell you. CNN’s infobabe was conducting an interview with the senior vice president of Amazon. The senior vice president of Amazon has apparently written an...

or more than half a century, governments all over the world trusted a single company to keep the communications of their spies, soldiers and diplomats secret. The company, Crypto AG, got its first break with a contract to build code-making machines for U.S. troops during World War II. Flush with cash, it became a dominant maker of encryption devices for decades, navigating waves of technology from mechanical gears to electronic circuits and, finally, silicon chips and software. The Swiss firm made millions of dollars selling equipment to more than 120 countries well into the 21st century. Its clients included Iran,...

PHILADELPHIA — On a brisk January morning Markus Mitchell arrives at his desk at 8:30, his phone ringing before he can even log in to his computer. An employee at the giant nonprofit where Mr. Mitchell works is locked out of the organization’s network and needs the 24-year-old’s help. Mr. Mitchell became a full-fledged employee at JEVS Human Services in Philadelphia in October, after a year as an apprentice. Just three years ago, he was making $13,000 working in the kitchen at a Chick-fil-A, feeling unsure about his future. Landing the $38,000-a-year position was the latest step in a rapid...

“The Hunt” will be released in roughly a month. The movie was pulled indefinitely by Universal back in August after a mass shooting in Texas and Ohio. The plot of the film revolves around “deplorables,” who appear to be from middle America, being hunted by elites. Now, the public will finally get a chance to see it. Producer Jason Blum told the Hollywood Reporter in a piece published Tuesday that the movie with Emma Roberts will finally be released March 13. I never understood the outrage about this movie when it was first being marketed. The rural Americans are clearly...
