As we all know, the Obama controlled media has gone above and beyond the call of duty to downplay the 912 Project Tea Party in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. It’s been completely laughable, to say the least. We wrote about this earlier, and supplied plenty of photos and video. But it seems the Obama controlled media has its orders to cover things up, and they are doing their very best not to disappoint their Dear Leader. All of the evidence points to numbers between 1.5 and 2 million attendees at the event. There are overhead crowd shots that clearly demonstrate...

GREENLAND, N.H. — Charlie Ireland has been growing corn, tomatoes, beans and "you name it" behind his Post Road home and selling it from a stand out front for four years. But due to thefts from his honor system cash box, the stand he converted from a boat trailer, bought from a divorcing friend, is shuttered forever, reports the Portsmouth Herald. A sign out front reads, "Due to the theft problem I was forced to close for good. To the honest people, thanks for your business."

I wouldn't exactly call this a positive development for Obama's green agenda. Now you know why we have called it 'Cap and Tax.'

ACORN is an institution of integrity that is getting an unfair rap from news outlets unwilling to look at the group's 38-year history of advocacy work, its co-founder says. Wade Rathke, ACORN's co-founder and former chief organizer, blasted FOX News on Tuesday for its "unfair" coverage of a group he said has served as a champion for social justice since 1970. Rathke, in an interview, said FOX News should "be careful and fair about how it looks at the organization's work." "It's a wonderful organization. I do nothing but wish for its success," he said. "You have to look at...

The Wall Street Journal may be an unusual venue for theological debate, but this past weekend's edition featured just that - a theological debate of sorts. The "of sorts" is a necessary qualifier in this instance, because The Wall Street Journal's debate was not, as advertised, a debate between an atheist and a believer. Instead, it was a debate between two different species of atheists. The paper's "Weekend Journal" section front page for the September 12-13, 2009 edition featured articles by Richard Dawkins and Karen Armstrong set in opposing columns. The paper headlined the feature as "Man vs. God: Two...

American Life League exposes the euthanasia agenda of the sponsors of HR 3200. Henry Waxman and co-sponsors John Dingell, George Miller, Peter Stark, and Frank Pallone all voted against a federal ban on use of drugs for physician assisted suicide. Not only that, Barack Obama equates physician assisted suicide with "end of life issues" and "the elderly."

By most measures, the past year has been the worst financial crisis in a lifetime. But not by one significant measure: Bank failures. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has closed 92 banks so far in 2009, after seizing 25 ailing banks last year. By contrast, during the last banking crisis, 381 banks were seized in 1990, 268 in 1991, and 179 in 1992. Still, the pace of bank failures is accelerating. In recent days, three banks failed, including Illinois-based Corus Bank, doomed by $3.2 billion in construction loans, mostly to condominium developers. The relatively slow pace of bank failures during...

The US government is just doing a wonderful job at bowing down to the Islamic community. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder went to a LA Mosque pledging to advance religious freedoms for Muslims. While some US military "leaders" are practically crawling on their knees begging Muslims to respect us. Now the CIA has joined in on the Islamic love fest.

"My a**," as a certain local blogger might say. Two black kids pummel the living daylights out of a white kid on a bus, but it isn't racially motivated. Uh-huh. Elsewhere, our liberal elite talking heads dissect language, body and soul to "discover" that racism is behind virtually any criticism of Barack Obama. Ironically, CBS today asked if Democrats will "finally" get hate crimes legislation passed. Well, that's terrific, but the sad joke about "hate" crimes (and their legislation) is how they're so selectively applied. Lord knows how I've written about that in the past. If an unprovoked beating has...

Army of the InsaneOf all my duties here at Delta-Man probably my least favorite is trolling the liberal websites and reading their crap. I do this for two reasons: first of all so you don’t have to and second, to find out what these idiots are saying and attempt to respond to their arguments in a logical manner. Now I realize that these arguments will never reach these deluded liberals since logic is a concept that’s as foreign to them as responsibility. Instead I attempt to respond to their arguments because that’s how normal people engage in a meaningful debate,...

The largest gathering of American conservatives in history made their way to the Capitol on 9-12-09. The marching of the hundreds of thousands of people who paid their own way made their voices heard as their feet pounded the pavement. The President and Congress have awakened the sleeping giant, the giant that seeks to take back their country. The silent majority will remain silent no more.

CALGARY - A mother accused of strangling her teenage daughter with a scarf was acting in selfdefence, her lawyer said Monday. Mark Tyndale, who represents Aset Magomadova, pointed to a statement of agreed facts entered in the second-degree murder trial. He said 14-year-old Aminat Magomadova, who died Feb. 26, 2007, had been "habitually running away from home, boasting that she was using drugs, being sexually active and stealing" --behaviour that caused stress for the rest of the Muslim family. Tyndale said his client, a 38-year-old Chechnyan refugee and ... Vomberg introduced numerous exhibits, including the accused's head scarf. After her...

Here at Americans for Tax Reform we have worked tirelessly to educate the public about the dangers of excessive taxation: job losses, businesses closing, economic stagnation - effectivly misery all round. Now we have one more thing to blame high taxes on: breaking up the Beatles. That's right, one of the greatest cultural tragedies of the 20th century was caused by big government...
