88 reasons why Rosh-hash-ana 1988 must be the time of the church's rapture
Reasons 4 and 5
The 69th week of Daniel ended 6 April 30 AD.... the 70ths starts with the day of Atonement 1988 when Antichrist signs the seven-year peace with Israel on 21 Sep 1988, and the 70th week of Daniel ends 7 Jewish years later on the Day of Atonement 1995 at the battle of Armageddon, 5 Oct 1995, thus lasting seven Jewish years.Lunar dates... verify beyond any reasonable doubt that from the DAy of Atonement 1988 through the Day of Atonement 1995 is the 70th week of Daniel (This single fact is the unchallengeable proof that this book is correct and true)

The scoffers can prove their ‘self-worth’ during the Trib.
They might lose their head though.

Nope, humbly trying to do the work of the Lord and exposing the charlatans who say Christ didn’t mean “This generation will see the destruction of the temple”

And yet the same way you class "Protestantism" keeps you with the Oneness Pentecostals -- they say there is no Trinity and you disagree with them
The Lutherans hold that there is the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist -- you deny that. So in the core fundamentals, you and the Lutherans (of all kinds) fundamentally disagree
So you can't call yourself in the same basket as Lutherans and Oneness Pentecostals as you disagree with them on fundamentals like the Eucharist and the Trinity

Whatchu talking about willis? Look at the facts - the Pre-Tribulation Rapture is non-Biblical
It's also non-historical and utterly denies Christ's very words that "this generation will see the destruction of the temple"

Mormonism's Joseph Smith and Ellen White
The following quotes reveal striking similarities in experience and message. Please review these and draw your own conclusions. |
Similar Early Experiences
Joseph Smith, Pearl of Great Price |
Ellen White, Testimonies I, Life Sketches |
...It seemed to me for a time as if I were doomed to sudden destruction... 48:15 |
...it seemed to me as if I had been rescued from hell... 1T 31; LS 161 |
Thick darkness gathered around me and it seemed to me for a while as if I were doomed... 48:15 |
Total darkness settled upon me and there seemed no way out of the shadows... 1T 25; LS 153 |
When I came to myself again, I found myself lying on my back, looking up into heaven. When the light departed I had no strength : But recovering in some degree I went home... 48:20 |
While I was lying helpless there, scenes of beauty and glory passed before me, and I seemed to have reached the safety and peace of heaven. At last my strength returned and I arose... 1T 29; LS 157 |
And as I leaned upon the fireplace, Mother inquired what the matter was. I replied, "Never mind, all is well--I am well enough off." I then said to my mother ... 48:20 |
I now confided all my sorrows and perplexities to my mother . She tenderly sympathized with and encouraged me... LS 157 |
...I took occasion to give him an account of the vision which I had had...he treated my communication...with great contempt, saying it was all of the devil ... 48:21 |
...I felt forbidden to relate my vision in such company... They denounced my visions as being of the devil ... LS 229;231 |
In consequence of these things, I often felt condemned for my weaknesses and imperfections; when, on the evening of the above-mentioned 21st of September after I had retired to my bed for the night I betook myself to prayer and supplications to the Almighty God for forgiveness of all my sins... 50:29 |
...words of condemnation rang in my ears day and night, and my constant cry to God was, "What shall I do to be saved?"...Sometimes for a whole night I would not dare to close my eyes, but would...kneel upon the floor, praying silently... 1T 23,26 |

You really are caught ina confusion. When Jesus taught in the TEMPLE, He explained to the listeners that THEY would see the destruction of the Temple when the armies surrounded Jerusalem (and Titus did that in 70 AD). The disciples later that same day asked Jesus when the Temple would be destroyed AND WHAT WOULD BE THE SIGN OF HIS COMING, the end of the age. In the Mount of Olives teaching He spoke of the imminent destruction fo the termple AND then went on to address their question of the end of the Age and His return to Earth. The clue is the repeated phrase ‘but The End is not yet’.

2. you mention keep bringing up the famous rapture passage found in 1 Thessalonians 4.15-17 which reads:
According to the Lords word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. No more intellectually stimulating dialogue with you until you address the verses you keep leaving out:
Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him....
Somebody is still alive when Jesus brings with Him those who have previously died...THEN both groups are caught up (the Greek word harpazo that Jerome translated to 'Rapturo' in the Vulgate where we get the word Rapture) and taken WITH Jesus to heaven.
Why won't you address that?

Esteem for the Christian Truth of God versus falsehood in your posts, and not some guile about ecumenism is why I write about the falseness of your philosophy and of the rapturists. Which means that your motive is to promote and defend your elitist church, while the falsehood in your denial of my refutation is there for all to see. Not that much of anyone is on this forsaken thread.

he Law represents all systems of justification based upon merit of them, ("for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law:" Galatians 3:21) That is false - Paul is very clear throughout Galatians that he is writing about the Law of the Pharisees - you fail to show knowledge of the larger issue: Galatians 2:1 "Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem ..." 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. It is so incredibly obvious and repeated over and over again that this is about the Pharisee-Jewish Law and no other
Once again, like your church, you seem to presume that since you assert something then that makes it true, but which it does not, for indeed Paul is very clear throughout Galatians that he is writing about the Law of the Pharisees, and thus in which teaches what I said, that the Law represents all systems of justification based upon merit of them, for what you leave out is
Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. (Galatians 3:21)
Catholics imagine that by adding "by the grace of God" to their works then they can saw they are not contradicting Scripture in holding that they "have truly merited eternal life" by their very works, ((Trent, Canons Concerning Justification, Canon 32) but which a devout Judaizer teaching that salvation is via law-keeping could say. Fulfilling the righteousness of the law is what faith works toward, and such evidence justifies one as being a believer and fit to be rewarded for his works, but no one a merits eternal life by actually becoming good enough to be with God ("full salvation") thru Purgatory.
Thus if there had been a system of justification based upon merit of works which could have given life then the Law would be it, and righteousness would have been by the law. And also as shown and ignored, Paul also broadly disallows "works of righteousness" which we have done as appropriating justification. (Titus 3:5; Eph. 2:8,9)

t hits over and over again that this is about the LAW of the Pharisee-Jews and they are no longer applicable to the Jesus-movement-Jews. Over and Over again and then he brings up Abraham in the next chapter about the works of The Law. Indeed, and as just shown you, you simply do not get it that the Law represents the supreme form of justification based upon merit of works, and broadly disallows "works of righteousness" as giving life and appropriating justification, and which is a present condition.
Moreover, Abraham was not first justified when he offered up Issac, (Gn. 22) but way before that when his faith was counted for righteousness. (Gn. 15:6) Faith in the heart justifies one and the confession of this faith which follows confirms one is of complete, salvific faith. (cf. Romans 10:9-13)

So rather than admit that you are arguing against something I did not say, and that what I did say remains substantiated, you just reiterate your strawman, and thus again provide an argument against being a RC.

it's not stealing - it's we learn from each other and grow in the faith.
The 19th century and the radical reformation had a lot of changes.
If I look at it with a historians hat you have
- The collapse of the giant Asian powers - the Maratha Confederation in India and the Qing Empire
- The industrial revolution
- England, France and the Netherlands rising beyond just thalassocracies
- The rise of "scientific criticism" of the Bible
- Evolution
- The implementation of evolution as a concept to create racism and also "religion progression"
During this time you have the Adventists, the Jehovah's witnesses, the Evangelicals, the Mormons, the concept of the rapture etc. all arising and influenced by those secular changes
